Monthly Rentals in Vincigliata

We have been wanting to stay here for years, and it looked so amazing we couldn’t imagine it beating expectations - but it did! We did not realize how much came with a stay here: the pool, the botanical garden, the golf cart to get around, the restaurant, and even a filled fridge of farm fresh food and snacks so we didn’t have to worry about dinner OR breakfast. They taught us the history of the tower and the land and gave a thorough tour of the accommodations. This was our first time in Italy, and Tommaso was so friendly and responsive to tell us what train station to come into to get a taxi. The tower was so cozy and in its own private area. This stay was a dream come true.

What a beautiful and special place in Tuscany! You can sit and imagine living here hundreds of years ago as you enjoy all of the details Angela has provided to make it comfortable and abundant. The pictures don't do it justice...the place is larger and more embracing than the photos. Angela cared a lot and when a few little things were not quite right, she made them right. This is a beautiful and top place to stay to enjoy the Tuscany countryside, not far from Florence and all it offers. The town is charming and the folks were kind to us. We did, as one reviewer suggested, enjoy wine at the community center late one night and great sandwiches in the day! Make sure to explore the town in the day and take time to be a part of it.

Ale was the best host we have ever had! He went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and take care of our every need! He allowed us to drop our bags at the property early, and when we got there he welcomed us in his home and made us cappuccinos! They were delicious! He was always available to answer any question that we had, and he gave us great recommendations for food and view points of the city! On the last day, he and his wife made us breakfast, and we got to eat with them before we left to catch our train. They treated us like family the whole time, and if you’re looking for a host you can interact with, you really can’t get better than them! He loves meeting new people and it shows! His space was perfect for the 2 of us. The location is beautiful and they even have an outside seating area that you can enjoy with the view! The bus stop is right across the square from his door. We had an amazing time here, and we certainly hope to be back again one day for a longer stay! 😊

Susanna and her husband are wonderful hosts, offering plenty of helpful advice and recommendations for dining and sightseeing. The accommodation is immaculately clean, tastefully decorated, and equipped with essential amenities, including a kettle, mini fridge, espresso machine, hairdryer, and towels. The room is a great size for a couple who don’t travel light. The only thing I missed was hand soap in the bathroom. Guests have access to two outdoor spaces - one with a small table and chairs, and the other a terrace boasting spectacular views over the city of Florence. Fiesole sits on the outskirts of Florence (great if you have a car) with a bus stop less than a 10-minute walk from the accommodation, providing a direct route to Florence’s central train station. Alternatively, you can drive and park in a convenient car park near the city center, recommended by Susanna (cost of approximately 2–3 euros per hour). We will be back sometime in the future to explore more of Florence :)
