Here you get to experience the cabin Knausen which was built in 1940 and has retained most of its original touch. Here, the beds are built into the room. There is no Wi-Fi, and dishes must be washed by hand. But, the location can give peace of mind with beautiful sea views of Ålfjorden, large property with lots of nature, access to beach, fishing and short distance to Ølen, Etne, Odda/Trolltunga, Haugesund and Karmøy.

The place is an old small farm. It is located in a very quiet area with good opportunities for hiking and fishing. Otertong outdoor area is right nearby. Between Stavanger and Bergen/Hardanger. 30 min to Haugesund, 1 h 50 min to Odda (Hardanger and Trolltunga). Rented out for the first time in 2026.

Welcome to our cozy cabin located on Molnes by Skåneviksfjorden. Here you can enjoy the days in calm surroundings with nature close by, either in and by the cabin or by using the amazing nature that surrounds the cabin. The cabin has recently been completely renovated and contains a living room and kitchen in one, 3 bedrooms with room for 6 - 8 people, bathroom, basement with washing machine, internet and TV. There is easy access by car all the way to the door.

There are also a number of hiking opportunities/ top tours in the nearby area. Sandeid is located about 50 km east of Haugesund and about 110 km north of Stavanger.

It is also possible to take a day trip to the Pulpit Rock.
