House holiday rentals in Virginia Beach

My family came together for a 3-day stay at Nomad Dunes. It was everyone's 1st time to the OBX. There's 16 of us ranging in age from 9-74! There are 3 levels to this home with sleeping areas on all levels which was great for us. I think we used every entertaining and relaxing spot in this house!! You can see the ocean from the top floor and it truly is easy enough to walk to the beach or hop in the car and drive back and forth. Having the pool was perfect for our family. It is about 5ft deep at most so all the kids could access the pool without worry. And the hot tub was VERY popular with our group! Hardly anyone picked up a phone or devise other than to take photos or videos and we watched one movie. The drive on the beach to get to the home was a LOT more than we expected!! Videos do not do this justice. It's long, and bumpy, and feels out of control at times. SHOP beforehand!! Beds and furnishings are comfy and pretty. I suggest mentioning if you plan to use the bunks and sofa bed.

We had a wonderful stay here! Everything was exactly as described. Eugene was really responsive when communicating and super friendly! I would highly recommend staying here if you get the chance. Thank you again for such a relaxing place to stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at Blue Octopus! It was a very nice layout with a family. Loved the connecting bedrooms upstairs, and even a baby gate for the stairs and top locks on the doors to the outside. We loved how easy it was to swim and go to the beach here! We went to Mudita for coffee in the morning which was wonderful. Would love to come back for a longer stay! Willoughby beach was quiet and away from crowds.

The house was super clean when we got there, the temperature of the house was great the entire stay. The pool was certainly clean, but since we went early, June the water was a little bit cold, but it felt really nice and refreshing honestly. There were three beach chairs and a wagon there that were helpful for traveling to the beach. There were available cups plate, utensils, and all the necessities that you would need, they even had shampoo and conditioner bottles there for us. We weren’t aware that there was a code to get into the house so instructions for check-in were a little bit unclear, but all I had to do is message and they responded. Overall, I would recommend staying here because even though the area surrounding isn’t the nicest, I felt safe the entire time at that house!

We had a great family visit at this house. We really enjoyed the pool and whole house was very comfortable and clean! It was nice to just hang all day by the pool or top for a sanctuary from a long day of events. Sabrina was very attentive and responsive with questions and situations, appreciate her flexibility as a host!

Mark is a great host. The house is immaculate. Every little detail is perfect. By far the nicest AirBNB I have ever rented. Mark made sure everything was perfect for our visit with our son in the Navy.

Love it!!! Pick this place! A 5 min walk to the beach, the beach is beautiful and not crowded at all. We loved kayaking in the bay too. Will definitely be back.

Very nice stay, very nice home and neighborhood. Ideal for a “base camp” to explore all of eastern Virginia and neighboring areas. Sometimes, traveling in this manner, small glitches happen. Most are easily solved with good communication, a responsive host and mutual cooperation. Had a small glitch - easily and quickly solved with these practices. Many thanks to the Host of this property!

Tricia was responsive and very accommodating. It was a pleasure and a breeze to stay at her space. It was clean and stocked with all baby amenities like toys crib and highchair. It was close to the beach and to many attractions.

The host was so kind and made sure we had a comfortable stay! The AC ended up not working due to an accidental mishap when she was working on her yard! She was able to get the AC fixed as we arrived to the Air BNB and we had the coolest room ever ( which we love) especially on a hot day! We are thankful for the time she took to get that done ASAP! She also had a wonderful cute cottage with all that you’d need for a short stay! It was equipped with great dishes and all the things you’d need for a perfect stay in a home :) it was extremely clean and decorated nicely for your small family! It also has a beautiful back yard oasis to sit out and relax or go for a swim :) you won’t want to miss this Airbnb!! Located near the beach and a great park and walking paths for you kiddos!! All you need nearby just a short walk away!! It was a great getaway for the weekend with a very kind host who is always there to help if needed :)

I had a wonderful stay at Lisa’s place! The house was spotlessly clean and looked exactly like the pictures in the listing. The huge backyard was a great bonus — spacious, well-kept, and perfect for relaxing. Lisa was a very responsive host, always quick to answer any questions, which made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. Fresh linen and towels were provided, and I really appreciated the thoughtful touch of having a pack ’n play available for my baby — it made traveling so much easier. The listing was 100% accurate, and I’m super satisfied with my stay. I’d definitely recommend Lisa’s place and would love to return!

We were more than impressed with the place. It was so comfortable, so clean, so beautiful. Lots of places in the house to hangout outside. The walk to the beach is so short. The street that the house is on has a lot of places of entertainment, shopping, and food. Yun was always available if I needed anything and her instructions were clear and she was so kind. If I go back to Virginia Beach, I will definitely be looking for her place again.

Beautiful home that VERY comfortably sleeps 8 people. 3 showers too! Our big family stayed here for a wedding. It was awesome to be so close to the beach along a nice strip of town houses. The house had everything we needed, and even laundry. It as clean and beautiful inside. Traci was also an excellent communicator, and getting in/out of the house was a piece of cake. Highly recommend.

Stacis house was great to stay for five adults and two children. We visited for only a few days during the weekdays and booked last minute. For the availability, the price was appropriate. The location is just across the street from the beach, and the provided beach toys and towels were great. We could go the beach and pop over home for lunch and then go back in the beach. Would highly recommend this place in Sandbridge.

The house was exactly as described. Hosts were quick to respond to any questions we had and even accommodated us with our request to extend our stay by a day. The house is 15-20 minutes from downtown Virginia Beach in a quiet neighborhood. The beach is located just across the road and there our some nice restaurants within a few minutes drive. Would recommend to others.

The property is spectacular. Everything about the accommodations was excellent. Not one complaint. Just praise. The host was very friendly and helpful. So were the neighbors!

The place was beautiful inside and out. My family and I felt like we’re at home. I love the outdoor space. Most of the times, my parents and I chilled outside enjoying the weather and chitchatting with each other. My family and I came down from Pennsylvania to visit my sisters who live about 10-15 mins away from the home. My family and I had a great time during our weekend stay. Hopefully one day we’ll come back and stay at this beautiful home again. I highly recommend this beautiful home. Definitely 5 stars :)

Hearts Blossom by the Sea was absolutely adorable and very clean. The space provided everything we needed. Our hosts were kind and attentive, and the walking distance from Hearts Blossom to the beach is truly amazing. We didn't want to leave!

We enjoyed our stay at this location. The beautiful expansive water views were calming and pleasant. The amount of water fowl was amazing and we put our ornithological skills to the test, identifying the many herons, egrets and other birds we saw right outside our window. With sliding glass doors on both the first and second level, there were options to sit both inside and outside for the view. A most enjoyable stay!

Great location close to the beach and lots of things to do. Also quiet and walkable. The room is cozy and the view is amazing. We would absolutely stay again!

This home was incredible! The 4x4 experience was really fun and we saw horses everyday, at one point the horses were under the house cooling off in the shade. It’s hard to put into words 🙂 Sarah was responsive and helpful throughout the trip!

This place was perfect! It was so close to the beach! Has everything you would need for a short stay- aside from storage, which is typical in tiny homes! It has the set up for perfect cozy vibes in every room! Me and my husband enjoyed our stay
