Cabin, homemade in 2020. Mostly with recycled materials. There's no less than 20 solar panels on the cottage! The beams and the ridge have remained in sight, which gives a spacious effect. A stable window from the farm where Karin was born has been processed in the ridge. The old yellow lumps from that farm form the terrace, along with the tiles from the basement. As a surprise, husband and love for Karin has made a heart in the terrace! All in all a great place to spend time

In the middle of the bulb region, near the train station, you can stay in our cozy basement with private access and parking. You can relax here! Drinks in the fridge and a bottle of wine are waiting for you. There are a lot of possibilities for cycling or hiking among the deer. The cities of Haarlem(10 min), Leiden(12 min) and Amsterdam(31 min) are easily accessible by train. On request, I will be happy to prepare breakfast for you. (€30 for 2 pers)

Beautifully furnished cottage in the garden of the owners, so you can enjoy nature. Beautifully located, wooded area and 20 minutes by bike from the beach of Zandvoort and the center of Haarlem. We mainly went there to cycle and eat (beach bars) and you can do that to your heart's content. National Park Zuid-Kennemerland nearby with loose horses, a beautiful bird lake (nesting place cormorants) and whitening tents that you can follow online where they are (path was closed during our stay). By car, we also visited the Schoorl dunes. In short: we had a very good time!

We visited the Netherlands specifically to experience the bulb/flower season. For this purpose Stefan's accommodation was perfectly located in the heart of this region. To be fair the nearest train station was about 2.5km walking distance, which is not excessive, but could be a problem for some guests. The bus station on the other hand was close by (about 200m).We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and appreciated the fact that all the needs a guest may have to feel at home and welcome were considered in the preparation of the accommodation.

We enjoyed our quick 2 nights stay with Susanne and her partner - very kind, easy going, and intellectual hosts with good convo. They made us feel at home and were very flexible accommodating our needs. The airbnb location is in a gorgeous residential neighborhood (go for a stroll around to see some amazing houses and properties), yet close enough to the train and bus stations. The room it self was charming and bright, comfortable bed, and large bathroom. There is also a small coffee nook outside the room for some added space. You are on the 3rd floor attic so the roof is vaulted over the bed (careful if your tall), but you also get the entire 3rd floor to your self, so lots of privacy. Overall a great send off for our last few days in Netherlands.

We stayed 3 nights with Sonja and Ari. The room was exactly as described and the location is simply great. The check in and out were very relaxed and also possible independently. The descriptions were great and everything was easy to find. The bathroom was always free and very clean. Everything you need was there, even drinks in the fridge and sunscreen. The distance to the beach is a stone's throw and you even have a view of the sea from the window. We felt super comfortable all around!

Michael is always quick to help or respond. Great communication. Everyone is so kind and I felt immediately welcomed. I had some incidents and they all went more then out of their way to help me. The rooms nice and well roomy enough. I liked the bathroom and convenance of dishes ware upstairs. I felt very much free to come and go as I pleased and I'm most thankful since I kept odd hrs for sure. Very helpful with tips and things to do and see. Vicky is adorably feisty for her size.
