Holiday houses in Volax

The location is in the center of the island so you can reach everything easily! Manthos was super quick in responding my messages. We really felt comfortable and enjoyed our stay very much!

The location of Ioanna's home is perfect in a charming alley in the tiny village of Volax, quiet surrounded by rocky hills. Two minutes away the "platia" of the village with its small tavern and 2 steps from the small amphitheater where various Greek family performances are played. The house, a refurbished dovecote, is exceptionally clean and new condition, very well equipped. Very few openings because it is a dovecote, fortunately there is a beautiful terrace. We were very warmly welcomed by Ioanna and Harris for translations. Ioanna gave us lots of practical information about all the activities, tavernas, sightseeing in Tinos. We received as welcome gifts full of treats and drinks typical of Tinos and homemade

What more can I say. Joanna and George were wonderful hosts and their property was absolutely gorgeous. We stayed in Villa Ampeli (the upstairs apartment) which had a lovely balcony with countryside views, perfect for an early evening drink watching the sun go down. It was furnished very tastefully and comfortably, the kitchen was very well equipped , and in the garden had a fabulous outdoor kitchen with BBQ. We were able to walk to Falatados in 10 to 15 minutes where we found a couple of great restaurants and a nice little cafe/ bar near the church. Well worth a visit. To get into the main town was only a 15 minute drive for a great choice of restaurants and shops, and the very famous church which was well worth a visit. The house is in the perfect location for exploring this beautiful island, as nowhere is very far - several beaches within a 15 to 20 minute drive. Just perfect!

We stayed at the Oak Cottage for three nights and were absolutely blown away by how beautiful and peaceful it was. The place is nestled in the mountain slopes surrounded by a vineyard, olive and orange trees, with access to a number of hiking trails. We were greeted by the charming Evangelia who showed us around and made us feel right at home. The fridge was stocked with eggs from the local chickens, bread, butter, olive oil and homemade orange marmalade, which was such a treat. The cottage is really spacious, tastefully furnished and has everything you need, including a very well equipped kitchen and a washing machine. There is a beautiful pond and a yoga deck on the grounds. The closest hike takes you in 25 minutes to the village of Kampos which has an amazing restaurant and a cute café. There is parking right in front of the cottage if you have your own car (which I would recommend). We absolutely loved it here and hope to return some day.

We had an amazing holiday! The house was absolutely stunning—spacious, very comfortable, and incredibly well-equipped with everything we needed. The view was truly spectacular, making every moment feel special. The hosts were also very accommodating, offering flexibility with both check-in and check-out times, which was a big plus for us. This place has a magical atmosphere that made our stay unforgettable. Highly recommended!

The suite is gorgeous, comfortable, and so peaceful!! We had everything that we needed for a quiet, luxurious holiday. It is great to have a parking space and walking distance to the beach, though the pool and covered patio are so nice it’s tempting to stay there all day looking at the sea. Antonia has thought of everything. She’s so welcoming and gave us great recommendations for restaurants and beautiful villages to visit. I recommend to anyone looking for a lovely holiday. We were sorry to leave and would be thrilled to return.

A lovely apartment situated in Volax village. The accommodation had everything we needed, the bed was very comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. There is no air conditioning but as the place is on the ground floor it was fairly cool, and the host supplied some fans that we used at night time. The apartment is below a family home, and the outdoor areas pictured are at the front of the house, with the host family coming and going from time to time. They were very friendly and helpful with tips and recommendations for the wider area. There are people walking past the front of the apartment most of the day, visiting the village and its sites; whilst it isn't totally quiet it was nice to feel part of village life and see the activity going on around us. The village itself is very beautiful, and has some tavernas for food/ drinks. We had a car and used the apartment as a base for travelling around other mountain villages and historical sites.

Excellent location with a great view. We booked for 12 nights and we regretted to not stay more. You have all inside and the terrace and the pool allows you to have a great overview of the Tinos. We have been with our daughter of 5 years so no issue for the kids. Thank you Elina and her family for the warm welcome.
