Our clean, bright and well appointed cottage is 5 minutes from Volcanoes National Park in the artist community of Volcano Village. You will have the entire cottage to yourselves, surrounded by the lush rainforest and native bird song. Sit in the mornings on your private lanai with a cup of Kau coffee while enjoying pastries, fruit and yogurt provided by the host. Our neighborhood is located on the edge of a forest preserve home to hawks, owls, and several bird species endemic to the Big Island.

This is the newly built big Studio, 500sqft, in the forest cover, 6 minutes drive from Hawaii National Volcano Park, surrounded by restaurants, bars, cafes, grocery stores, gas stations, post office, Hawaiian specialty crafts display and more. It is a luxury dwelling place specially built for high-level tourists, spacious, bright, quiet, safe and convenient. Tips: there is a new big refrigerator, but the ice maker and water dispenser doesn’t work, all other functions are normal.

Our Retreat is a labor of our love and was built as such. A getaway to relax, hike the nearby beaches, forests, and volcanoes and to simply enjoy life. Our place is a peaceful spot completely off the grid in nature. It is 8 miles to Hawai'i Volcanoes National Park. You’ll love our place because of the location, the ambiance, and the outdoor space. Our goal was to bring the outdoors in and the indoors outside. Our place is good for couples and solo adventurers.
