Aasengard is located high and free in the middle of a great cultural landscape surrounded by wild mountains. The farm borders the Geirangerfjord which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. The farm is located in the middle of a great network for hiking. There are no animals on the farm. There are also many great mountain hiking opportunities nearby. Apartment under the Sunnmørsalpene!

Welcome to Brunstad, in the middle of the Sunnmørsalps! The apartment is an excellent starting point for mountain trips both on foot in summer/autumn and on skis in winter/spring. It is also a short distance to Ålesund (about 1 hour by car) and famous areas such as Geiranger, Hellesylt, Norangsdalen, Valldal and Trollstigen. In winter, two different ski resorts are only 15 minutes away from the apartment; “Sunnmørsalpane Skiarena Fjellsætra” and “Strandafjellet Skisenter”.

The decor is a mix of retro, old treasures and a little new. Duvets and pillows are mostly new. Can provide thinner ones if desired. We live in the countryside, our village is called Hjartåbygda, 10 min by car from Volda city center. There is no public transport, so you should have your own car. Nice hiking area right outside the door, marked trails. Otherwise quiet and peaceful. Right by the lake, and by car it is not far to many of Sunnmøre's beautiful mountains.
