We spent a spectacular weekend among friends! The house was reserved for us only, each room had a private bathroom and we had a lot of room for conviviality from the dining room and two living rooms. The kitchen has all the necessary utensils. We went with kids who loved the pool and had plenty of room to play. The host was always available to answer questions and everything was, as described. I advise!

Fantastic place - probably one of the best Airbnb's we've stayed in. Very friendly reception, always on hand if we needed anything. Beautiful, spacious house - spotlessly clean - everything worked! We were so comfortable there. Lovely balcony to watch the sunsets and lovely pool too. Washing machine, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, grill, oven , hob, cleaning products - its' all here. You do need a car to explore the local surroundings and the nearest supermarket is 25 mins away by car. We visited the towns of Braga, Porto, Coimbra, Viseu, Aviero and Agueda - all very worthwhile. We also took a trip to the nearby (15mins drive) car museum at Caramulo. If you fancy striding it out a bit, drive a little further to Caramulinho, park up and there is a 2-3 hour trail walk up through the hills. Thank you very much to the hosts - a wonderful holiday had by all ! :)

Great place to explore the region, we chose to discover the bike ecovias with our children and at the end of the day and effort we enjoyed a beautiful garden and an “au top” swimming pool😊 The property has all the accommodations and services to spend an excellent vacation! Ricardo and his wife always cared for me well and the communication flowed very well. The house has a good heating system, at the time we were was important. The house is very spacious both inside and outside. Very practical and comfortable. We'll be back next year.

Beautiful country place, a little cold in winter but perfect for fires. certainly more comfortable in summer

Folhas Country Vila is located in a peaceful place, perfect for a relaxing break with astonishing views of the forestry vale. The kitchen's sliding doors and the swimming pool facing southwest allow you to enjoy the sun from early morning until sunset. The house is a recent construction with excellent specifications in terms of insulation, and all the main rooms have brand new air conditioning units, with all windows fitted with mosquito mesh. Folhas Country Vila is equipped with everything you need, including a fast Wi-Fi connection, cable TV, an espresso machine, an electric grill, and a barbecue. The neighborhood is quiet, but your neighbors are nearby if you need any help. The main town, Oliveira de Frades, has all the amenities you need. Don’t worry if you don’t drive—there’s a local taxi rank always available at pre-booked platform prices. I fully recommend this place and can't wait to return next year. Mr. Manuel and his wife, the hosts, were very welcoming to us.

Host always prompt and quick to send information, very complete. Very well decorated, comfortable house (keeping in mind that it is a mountain house), very quiet place, good for walking, easy parking. Impeccable cleaning, comfortable bed and in-room heating.

The house is beautiful and well equipped. The village is lovely, it looks like we're in a medieval movie. Pool is perfect for enjoying the quiet. The trails are great and one of them goes to the most beautiful sunset we've ever seen. Nearby there is the museum of Caramulo, Águeda and Aveiro. Fabiana and Pedro, they were specular hosts. They go above and beyond to make the stay perfect. It's for coming back for sure.

We loved our stay at Casa do Professor. It was so quiet and peaceful. Lovely views, beautiful house inside and out. It worked well for a day trip to the Duoro wine area and another to Viseu, it was wonderful to come home to. Also nice walks in the general area (one was from the house, towards town, onto the ecopista). Lovely, quiet area full of small villages. Easy driving, groceries and restaurants nearby. We cooked a few meals and had what we needed. Having the washing machine was helpful. Comfortable beds, beautiful decor, yummy pastries delivered by Antonio's parents. Antonio was responsive and gave a lot of helpful suggestions in response to our questions. Highly recommended!

It was a short stay, but I really enjoyed the village where Mr. Pedro. It was very sweet and always available and useful for something that was necessary. An experience to be repaired no doubt. Reclaimed house very pleasant and welcoming, with a breathtaking view.
