House holiday rentals in Waihi

I would like to say that Rose & Wal were very welcoming, especially after a very long drive from Taranaki to Tauranga due to an unfortunate crash on the Awakino gorge. Everything was really cleaned and fresh. Next time i would like to bring my family and spend a good couple of days to enjoy the beautiful city more. Thanks again Rose and Wal.

Very much enjoyed our stay. The views were amazing from every corner of the house. The kids really enjoyed the pool/trampoline. Great location for Golf enthusiasts or just down the road from a Mountain Bike trail/hike. Highly recommend for large groups. Tatiana is very friendly and easy to communicate with.

Catherine's place exceeded all expectations. The space itself was incredibly roomy, making it perfect for relaxing, spending time with others, or just enjoying some quiet downtime. There were plenty of things to do, which kept everyone entertained throughout the stay—whether it was exploring the surroundings or enjoying the pool, reading books and playing the piano. What really stood out, though, was Catherine's hospitality. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, leaving a handwritten note and some thoughtful snacks for us to enjoy upon arrival. It's those personal touches that really make a difference and show how much she cares about her guests’ experience. Everything about the stay was smooth, comfortable, and enjoyable. I honestly can’t think of a single downside. I’d wholeheartedly recommend Catherine’s place to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-hosted getaway.

Perfect location. My family had a wonderful stay. Very modern home, very organised and great amenities. Very easy and lovely place to stay when visiting Cambridge.

We had a wonderful stay at this super cute and stylish Bach! It was comfy, clean, and really well equipped — we especially loved the great selection of books and games, the pizza maker, and access to the spa pool. The location was perfect too. Highly recommend!

We were a group of 9 adults and stayed for 2 nights. The place has excellent living areas for a big group. The location is amazing being a very short walk to the beach and about 10mins walk to shops and cafes. I would highly recommend this place.

Danielle’s home was immaculate, peaceful and way bigger than the photos make the house look! There was plenty of space to lounge around and the swimming pool and well kept grounds were an added bonus.

My mother, sister and I stayed at Graeme and Judith’s place. It was so lovely, clean and we were left with goodies for a yummy breakfast. Balcony was lovely to sit on with a wine in the sun. It’s so close to the beach and shops. Would definitely stay again. Thanks so much for being great hosts. Lesa.

Fantastic place really beautifull loved our stay wished we could have stayed longer. Really handy for Tauranga Mount Maunganui and Kaimai's. Absolutely recommend if you in the area and looking for a comfortable home from home experience in a lovely peacefull setting

We felt so at home at Jessica's place! The home is equipped with everything you need for both short and long stays. The neighbourhood was quiet and the location was perfect for a beach getaway. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again in the future 😊

Rob was a great host, super quick responses and opened the house to us earlier when their was no guests before us. House is very spacious and homey. Kid friendly and the beach right across the road. We will always look for robs place first when we come back to Waihi beach!

We had a great stay in Waihi Beach thanks to David and Maree. The set up is great; which is why we have returned for round two. Location is awesome with only a walk to the main shops, beach and flat white cafe. Great selection of board games; if the weather turns iffy or bad. Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Spectacular home with views of water and mountains. Convenient to lovely beaches and shops and restaurants. Seamless check in, crib and chair provided for the baby, peaceful and comfortable stay. Truly a stand-out accommodation. Would definitely return, if we have the privilege to return to NZ.

Cheryl’s place was clean and tidy, good sized kitchen, beds were comfortable and fully fenced for our dog. Our family, baby & dog had a great stay in despite the bad weather during the long weekend. She was a great host, friendly and responsive. We highly recommend her as a host & their place to stay.

The home was very comfortable and family friendly. There was plenty of space for the 3 families who shared the home. It was clean, warm and smelt amazing! The living room space was communal and made for a great time to fellowship. There were toys and books for the kids which was a bonus. Anna was very responsive and communicated clearly. We would definitely recommend this stay for families and we would definitely stay again should we need to visit again.

This is the best airbnb we have stayed at. It is very clean, has a fully fitted out kitchen if you want to cook, comfortable beds, perfect for a family. Very quiet neighbourhood and we would highly recommend it to everyone.

We had a great time at Nicole’s house. The house was very nice, very modern and very comfortable. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were super clean and well appointed. The kitchen was great and opened up to the living room. The location was great, very close drive to Hobbiton and we visited both Waitamo glow worm caves (around 90 min away) and Rotorua (around an hour). Nicole was a great host, sharing advice on the house as well as activities. She was very responsive, getting back to us quickly. She went above and beyond as a host. We loved staying at Nicole’s house and would happily recommend it to anyone.

Josie and Rob's place was beyond perfect for a Birthday weekend getaway of 6 adults. Every amenity you could think of, they had; the house was so comfortable in so many aspects. Not to mention the location, which was close enough to town and walkable to St Kilda cafes, but still in the peaceful countryside of Cambridge. Couldn't fault Josie and Rob too, their communication and helpfulness were unmatched. We are already dreaming of coming back.

Beautiful home with everything you needed. Vanessa was very responsive and thoughtful knowing we were coming with a baby. All meals were outside on the patio under the umbrella as we had beautiful weather. Brilliant location all within walking distance to everything. Only downfall was the house was very hot with the afternoon sun, even with the aircon on. This wouldn’t have been an issue, as we only noticed due to a 12 month old needing an afternoon nap.
