Holiday rentals with a patio in Wailea, Wailea-Makena

We've stayed at Ekahi Village in South Kihei/Wailea many times now. We have always enjoyed our stays. That said, Aaron's place is the best yet. In addition to being as described, clean, well-supplied, comfortable and attracitvely furnished, it is in a great location for us. It is quiet with open space behind the unit, and it is close to the Pavillion and the beach. Great place for those who love this area of Maui, as we do.

Nate’s place was clean, convenient, and right on the water. Every morning we looked forward to watching the tide and seeing the sea turtles, there were even binoculars we could use! The location was extremely convenient and Nate was super responsive. I’d definitely stay here again when I am back in Kihei!

Marie was fantastic! Her place was spotless, and I felt right at home. I’ve traveled all over and stayed in several Airbnbs, but Marie’s place has everything one could think of. Like ziplock bags and laundry baskets. It is the little things that makes this spot worth it. It was also very clean and located near some great food spots. A bonus was having a sauna to use at our disposal. I would definitely book this Airbnb again.

This is the first time in a while I’ve been in an airbnb which is much bigger than the pictures show it to be. Absolute gem of a neighborhood! Wailea is very high end and quite well connected to most of the tourist spots. The property was mashed really well with the team responding within 15 mins at all hours of the day. We had an amazing time!

Great view of the ocean and convenient location. Host provided us with a lot of beach gear. Only issue we had was the A/C not cooling the bedroom down fully.

Nicely appointed, well stocked with beach items. Comfy beds. Near beaches and restaurants. Outside Kanei but very close drive. Easy access to airport and West Maui and Haleakala. Responsive host.

This home was as described and the view is out of this world. Every morning we would enjoy our coffee and every evening we would love watching the sunset from the lanai. As you can see from other reviews, this house gets 5 stars because the pros are endless. However - we want to go over a few cons because as a group we rented both sides of the townhouse ($$$$$) and there were some issues that we felt may have swayed our decision to stay there had we known. 1) The homeless in the area. There is public beach access next door to an empty lot - There is then a church that provides free daily meals right behind the home. Put all of this together and the area has become a hang out spot. We had authorities called twice (sleeping in the bushes right outside our room that had bars installed on the windows/blocking the driveway) but could have called them every day. 2) No AC (we knew this) but it gets HOT and if you have littles it will be a problem. 3) Rocky beach entry. Bring water shoes!

Mike and Ashley were incredibly amazing and helpful. They really went above and beyond for us. Really appreciated the special touch they left us for our anniversary and will recommend them to and friends and family that visit Maui. Their place is beautiful and it looks even better in pictures. It is perfectly homey, private, and quiet, which was very nice but also close to the beach with a three minute walk couldn’t recommend staying with Mike and Ashley more. Thanks for helping make our anniversary trip special!

Worked well for locals

The airbnb was great, clean, easy access, and it came with its own parking space and patio. Overall pretty content with the place, it was comfortable for a group of 5 no complaints. And Emma was an awesome host! Super responsive, understanding, and let us check in early. She also gave us recommendations of nearby activites and restaurants which was a nice gesture. Overall happy with the airbnb, would stay here again.

Hard to find a better place in this area even near this price point. Cara’s place is in this peaceful little nook hidden enough from the road that you don’t notice the noise of traffic but close enough to the beach that you could hit it with a baseball if you had a decent arm. There’s a great coffee shop just a short walk down the beach for breakfast and a cup of joe. The home’s backyard is a great lounge area. Gets lots of sun but is guarded by gorgeous bamboo groves. The house has plenty of space. There’s AC for the heat of the day or if you like to sleep in the cold but for much of the day you can just open the windows, set the fans on and enjoy the island’s perfect weather indoors and out. It really is in a beautiful, peaceful drive with family neighbors and kids playing in the street. It’s a stones throw from a gorgeous beach and 10 minutes from all the shops and restaurants and tours you could want. Thanks for having us.

We loved this home. Whether it was having dinner with a Maui Sunset or enjoying the first morning cup on the front patio with the blue Pacific as a backdrop or just enjoying the home and beautifully kept landscaping, with pool, we have nothing but positive things to say about this experience. The owner was very responsive to our questions. Truly felt like we were guests not customers. I was traveling with my Niece and her teen age and adult children and we all loved it. Lots of snorkeling and beach gear. Restaurants, beaches and shopping all very convenient. Several good swimming and snorkeling beaches minutes away. From first contact through checkout, this was my best experience with Airbnb. Mahalo, Joe

I can't say enough good things about this stay. It was totally heavenly and a truly perfect way to do Maui. This sweet cottage is nestled in a Kihei neighborhood and was super convenient and easy to get to all places of interest. It was extremely well appointed and comfortable, stylish and fun. The outdoor space was a huge bonus and I couldn't have felt more at home.

I highly recommend Jeff's place. We stayed there for a week-long vacation. We were two couples each with a kid under two. Jeff's place was wonderful. Communication with Jeff was easy. The place was super clean and looked just like the pictures. The lanai and living room were particularly lovely. The location is ideal: a short drive to multiple amazing beaches, or a long-ish walk or run. Parking was easy. The AC in the bedrooms worked great - we were actually a little cold in the morning if we kept it on overnight. The beds themselves were quite comfortable. They were a little softer than my group preferred, but that's personal preference, and they were very high quality. Unfortunately, the living room AC didn't work when we arrived, but Jeff and his team went to great lengths to try to fix the problem, delivering fans and ultimately setting up a portable AC unit on short notice. These things happen and Jeff's response showed he would act quickly to fix problems. Would stay again!

One of the top Airbnb’s experiences that we’ve had! Claire’s place is an absolute gem and can’t wait to be back. Great location close to a ton of awesome beaches. Easy to get into downtown Kihei for food and restaurants. The apartment itself felt huge for the two of us. Comfortable beds and couches. The AC set temp was perfect. The view is insane, full sunset. Claire was one of the most responsive hosts we’ve stayed with. Very friendly and quick to respond. No issues here.

This had everything we could ask for and in a great location for most activities. The place was clean. The instructions were easy and accommodated an early arrival. The A/C worked so well we usually ably ran 1 of the 2. I Highly recommend this place and I have been to Maui many times. Thank you very much!

Our place was very comfortable, clean, and nicely decorated. Had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Location was terrific as well, with beautiful beaches close by. A short drive to many restaurants. Christopher reached out to help us if we needed anything. This was our first experience with Airbnb, and definitely a positive one!

We had an amazing experience staying here! It had a very warm welcoming feeling and everything was very clean. The views are exactly as pictured! The beds were very comfortable and they had all the amenities we needed. We will definitely be staying here again in the future!

This condo was perfect for my stay in Wailea. Very clean , comfortable & all the amenities you need. Pool & parking are right across from the entrance. Unit was very quiet for sleeping and relaxing. Location is perfect for everything in Wailea. Karissa was great communicating all information, and even allowed me an early check-in knowing I had a red eye.

My husband and I came to stay at Dan's lovely slice of heaven on 5th floor with fantastic views of the sunsets. We came for my nephews wedding and stayed for a week. The place was homey and relaxing. Brand new carpet. We made sure to kick off our shoes and relax. The bed was comfortable and we slept like babies. We went snorkeling at Makena Beach, Kamaole Beach Park #1 and Ho'okipa Beach Park where we saw a bunch of turtles sunbathing on the sand. We had made a grocery stop before getting to the Airbnb to have food to cook or eat when not going out. Dan has all the pans, utensils spices etc you need to prepare. It was great to have use of the snorkel equipment, large umbrella, chairs and towels. The Kula Botanical Gardens was a great place to visit.The Kula Bistro was a great restaurant recommended to us. A famous parmesan stuffed artichoke that did not disappoint. If you are into karaoke there is a fun bar down the street called Life is a Beach. Can't wait to return! Mahalo

We had a wonderful stay here for our daughter’s 1st birthday adventure! The place was perfect for our family of three. It was beautiful with an incredible amount of natural light. The place was super clean, and equipped with everything we needed, including a pack-and-play and a high chair for our baby girl. It was a great place to cool down and relax after days out exploring, and the location made it easy to get around. The home had everything we could have asked for and more. We had a great time making memories.
