We really enjoyed Kathy’s condo. It was close to all of our snorkeling tours. Kathy is a very responsive host and gave great recommendations for food and activities. Thank you for a wonderful visit!

Pavel and Irina were wonderful hosts — incredibly helpful and accommodating. The place is peaceful, comfortable, and surrounded by stunning views. Watching the sunrise was truly magical. Our daughter especially enjoyed walking around the farm, watching the cows and hens. We also picked fresh lychees.

Super clean, excellent and pristine furniture. The garden and the surrounding were fascinating. I was surprised to learn that we're allowed to use the barbecue grill and the bon fire but unfortunately had little time to use as there are a lot of things to do at the Big Island. Hopefully next time! Thanks for the beautiful stay!

Great place less than a 10 minute drive to the Kona airport and about a 15 minute drive from downtown. Nathan communicated very well with all the details. The shelf of items (shaving cream, sunscreen, aloe) left by prior guests was very appreciated.

Very good experience. Close to the sea and it’s pretty convenient. Great view.

Absolutely loved staying at Bailey’s place in Puako. It was so tranquil and gorgeous with the sound of the ocean at night and the amazing birds in the morning. The unit was very comfortable with a well stocked kitchen. We were 3 people - our teenage son slept on the pull out couch in the living room - you do have to walk through the bedroom to access the bathroom. This was fine for us. I loved the screen porch!! Bailey left so much info that helped us and was responsive to any request. We would happily come back here again.

Caryl was an awesome host. She send clear instructions for check in. Once we arrived, she gave us a tour of the house, shared local restaurants and things to do recommendations. She is super friendly and the house was amazing. My wife loved the papaya trees! Space was clean and a lot of gear for the beach which saved us from having to rent them. Great place and would definitely recommend.

My family and I were looking for an affordable, yet comfortable and welcoming place to stay during our time on Big Island, and this place did not disappoint. Right from walking in, it felt like I was walking into my own home. The tiny details from a personal note to welcome snacks gave me so much comfort and peace. The location is so peaceful and beautiful and the space itself was amazing with everything you need for your stay. Additionally, Lopaka provided beach essentials like chairs, umbrella and snorkeling gear. I can’t recommend this place any more and I will definitely be coming back here when I return to Big Island!

To each their own but for us this place was perfect. Reasons we preferred this place over a hotel: Secluded and and away from tourists. You can truly relax and unwind after the days activities in peace A very large place for just the two of us to enjoy. Nice kitchen for those that prefer to cook instead of just eating at restaurants Picked fresh limes and grapefruit to use in drinks and breakfast every morning Don't need to pack much because they have a nice washer and dryer Lots of wildlife including roosters, frogs, birds A large and lush property to explore, walk around and enjoy. Very relaxing and peaceful. The infinity hot tub takes some extra steps to warm up and take care of but being up at the top of hill overlooking coastline in a non chlorine hot tub was exquisite

Joseph’s place was such a great vibe! From the second we pulled up the driveway, we couldn’t believe the beauty of the place. And then when we opened the front door, it just kept getting better! Beautiful spacious living room that was actually much bigger than the photos looked! The yard was inviting and we got to watch a gorgeous sunset and moonrise, and sunrise! Our 1 1/2 year old loved the grassy area and the gym mat. Immaculate and clean, the bedrooms were private and spacious with great airflow. We even forgot some items in the dryer, one of which is a sarong heirloom from my deceased mother, and he is graciously holding them for us until we return! 11/10 recommend and we are already booking his place again. This was the best first Airbnb experience. We were celebrating our 10-year anniversary with our 3 young kids. This home was just beautiful. The photos do not do enough justice. The home was super spacious and TV in both rooms. Our 5yr old enjoyed the jacuzzi because it was shallow and warm. The pool was huge with a diving board. It was nice having the outdoor kitchen and grill. We were able to prepare our food while also watching the kids swim. We enjoyed her papayas, avocados, and mango. Ms. Sandra shared with us her organic eggs from her chickens, Kale, beets, basil, and lettuce from her garden. Every morning when I woke up, I couldn't wait to open the curtains and windows to see the view and hear the birds. I could go on and on about this place. Thank you Ms. Sandra. It was such a pleasure meeting you and spending time in you beautiful home🙏

We had a perfect stay here, it was clean, comfortable, well-suited, a fabulous location, with lots of beach equipment, and an outdoor shower with sunset views! Arieh as very kind and accommodating, we’ll be back!

My wife and I spent four nights in the penthouse unit of Jenn and Kristian’s beautiful home. We loved our time there. The unit was in good condition and comfortably furnished and the private rooftop terrace was perfect for early morning stargazing.

It was such a peaceful stay in the coziest loft. The fireplace warmed us up at night after a day of hiking at Volcano National Park and it was an added perk having a washer/dryer to clean our smelly clothes too. I would love to come back and stay here if ever back again. Lisa was very responsive and helpful with recommendations!

Great place to stay. The house was clean and super comfortable with all the amenities in excellent condition. You can hear the neighbors downstairs if there happens to be guess staying at the same time because the whole structure is wood and off the ground and the sound carries. It’s something to be aware of, however the place is while worth it. The outside deck is as wonderful as the rest of the house. Very happy with the experience.

Our 10-day stay at Chow & Tom’s place was wonderful. We absolutely wish we could have stayed longer and hope to stay here again in the future. The place was just like the photos. The porch is amazing and has a range of seating types. There are screens for all doors leading outside. Most days there was enough wind to keep lurking mosquitoes at bay when outside. We only encountered a couple of mosquito bites during our stay - a win as I’m normally covered in bites when visiting Hawaii. The kitchen is well stocked and has most anything you need for cooking. We cooked everyday with ease. Chow & Tom were quick to respond when we had questions & offered suggestions for places to visits. Check-in and check-out were easy and flexible. The wifi was good enough to support remote work (but recommend staying there to relax not work). If you’re looking for a place to unplug and decompress and to connect with a more local Hawaii, look no further.

Loved our stay here! Location & views were exactly what we were looking for. Discounted golf rates at the course and access to the pool were awesome! 15 mins from beautiful beaches. The beach towels/chairs/umbrella/ gear etc were a big plus. The place was clean. Host were quick to answer if we had questions. Two things to note- 1. the blinds are not room darkening so when the sun comes up you’ll know it!This was fine for us, bc we were usually up anyway but just something to note! 2. To get to the bathroom you have to go through the room with the bunk beds. Again this didn’t matter for us because no one was staying in the bunk beds. Overall we really enjoyed our stay & would stay again!

Location, location, location. We loved being ~10-15 minutes from spectacular beaches while having some flexibility away from resorts. This is Waikoloa Village so it is a bit longer to Kona which we liked but certainly plan for slightly longer drives if you are spending time further south. There are some new restaurants popping up nearby which is convenient, as well as, a KTA and HiCo (coffee). Noise is a minor problem as the complex has visitors that may be loud at odd hours. There are also wild turkeys in the morning. This did not bother us but the walls are thin. There is no AC which was fine for us. Opening up the doors provided a nice breeze. Condo has everything you need and more including tons of beach gear. It's a value stay for the Waikoloa area. Adam is very communicative despite not being local. Check-in is incredibly simple.

Lovely condo in a spectacular setting. Kitchen had everything we needed, bed was comfortable and the condo was spacious. We spent most of our time outdoors having adventures, and the condo was a very comfy home base. It was very convenient having the Tropics restaurant within walking distance. We also managed to catch a gorgeous and tasty sunset dinner at the Lava Lava Club.

Great space and great location. Carol was kind, helpful, and quick with her communication. Would love to come back here for another Big Island stay!

A lovely condo in beautiful surroundings. Happy hour at the pool complex was a nice find. The unit was stocked with games and beach things … perfect for young families. A great place to stay.

Andy’s condo was excellent. We had the best time staying a week for our anniversary. I took a lot of time looking at other options and reading reviews…we are so glad we chose to stay here. The property was super clean, super quiet, and gave us plenty of room to stretch out. Feels like home. The beach club access is so nice. Shaded parking, covered beach chairs, and not very crowded. The snorkeling around the point to the south of the beach is amazing. We saw turtles every day and even a spotted eagle ray. So fun! As some of the reviews stated…it’s one of the nicest places to stay on the Big Island. We will be back again! Thanks Andy!

Beautiful condo right on the water. Had a very well appointed kitchen with good appliances. The deck is a showstopper- lounge chairs and a table and plenty of space. Would definitely rent again. Holly was easy to communicate with and responded very quickly.
