The Garden Room

Cozy cabin set amongst coastal forest, nestled amongst the trees overlooking the beautiful garden and Wainui beach. Wake to the rising sun and songs of the birds. It is ONE LARGE ROOM with separate bathroom and a small kitchenette and wrap around deck area. Super king bed can be used as x2 singles. Pull out king single couch bed plus roller bed for a 4th person. Please let me know at time of booking as to bed configuration. NB there are steps down to the accomodation, so heavy bags are not ideal

Sunny and comfortable.

Make this well fitted 3Bdrm home your hub during your visit to the beautiful East Coast. Large backyard, along with a sunny deck to relax and soak up some sun. On colder nights, make use of the woodfire or aircon and snuggle up indoors (some firewood supplied). Plenty of off street parking with covered carport. -Playground within walking distance. -Short drive to CBD & popular surfing areas. -Situated on city bus route. -Tea, coffee & milk supplied. Kowhai on Kahutia

This lovely old bungalow is a house of 2 halves. One of which is a 2-bedroom dwelling ready for your visit. The dwelling is located centrally within the beautiful city of Gisborne. A 5min walk to the city and 10min walk to Waikanae Beach makes 'Kowhai on Kahutia' incredibly accessible. Recently renovated to match its bungalow bones, come and discover more history of the house and local area as a part of your stay here. Note the interior has been renovated however the exterior is still a WIP.

Had a great stay though the weather was not on our side. The house is lovely. Beds were very comfortable and fab having the pool option on the days that the wind made the beach wild and rough. The location was amazing as well and walks on beach which is across the road were fantastic.

Craig’s property deserves 6 stars. Hands down the best we’ve ever stayed in. The location is incredible and the house is beautifully presented. Craig is a fantastic host and was extremely responsive. And fresh eggs from the girls was an absolute treat. We will definitely be back but for longer next time!
