Ocean Vistas offered the most peaceful and private surrounds, stunning views that make you relax. Top quality linen and the most comfortable bed. Linda organized food and helpful suggestions to local amenities. It was a blissful stay! Couldn't fault anything except we didn't want to leave! Thank you ~

We had a wonderful stay at Penny’s house. The house is incredibly spacious and beautifully decorated, creating a very relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. The backyard is full of fruit trees — it was so much fun to walk around and enjoy the garden. Our room was spotlessly clean, and the bathroom was also very tidy and comfortable. Penny was an amazing host: warm, patient, and very thoughtful. She prepared a generous and delicious breakfast for us, with so much care and attention. Overall, it was a fantastic experience. We would highly recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful, peaceful place to stay with a truly wonderful host!

We initially booked a week stay here with big plans of activities around the area, but ended up staying home all week. It was the most relaxing week we didn’t know we needed. A vacation, from the vacation… The property and home is truly a sanctuary with the most spectacular views and surrounds. Waking to cotton candy sunrises, serenaded by birds and a 5 minute walk to the our favorite beach in New Zealand. This place is special!!! Thanks again!

The place is great - views just like the photos, great setup and everything you need and walkable to shops and beach. Marsala is a fab host, very responsive and left bacon, eggs, bread and wine for out stay - was a lovely touch. I would definitely stay again if I’m up North.

A very well maintained and nicely decorated paradise where one would fully immerse in the nature. Doing star gazing while enjoying the hot tub was an amazing experience. The utensils and furnitures, including the outdoor ones, are exceptionally clean. Despite the winter weather (shorter daytime), it’s a privilege to enjoy the entire place as no one is renting the retreat next door.

Fabulous host and home! Such a wonderful experience to share Margaret and Graeme’s home - we felt so welcome and cared for. Would definitely recommend.

Our stay at Candy's exceeded our expectations in every single way. The location is stunning, the accommodation is full of the most thoughtful touches for your stay and Candy is next level as a host - respectful of your space if you'd like it, but buzzing with recommendations, conversation and energy if you'd like to be social. We loved having her show us the glowworms, experience her beautiful garden and even joined in with her and her husband's morning jam session. An incredibly special stay - even just as one night - and we'd return for longer in a heartbeat. Huge thanks, Candy!

10/10, would highly recommend. Nola, Don & Ziggy (dog), all greeted us upon our arrival. The accomodation was perfect, private, clean, beds were very comfortable, a truly stunning home with lush bush and sea views. Nola went beyond the call of duty & left breakfast items, fruit & sweet treats in the kitchen! The coffee machine (& pods) was also a real treat & appreciated! Nothing was a problem and Nola was happy to assist us with any of our questions. Thank you once again Nola & Don for an incredible stay!

Perfect place to stay when visiting Russell, close to gas station, town centre. The views are phenomenal to sit and have breakfast.

Second time I have stayed here. A nice relaxing place in the country. Perfect for a get away. Having a washing machine and dryer is always a bonus. Chocolates on arrival, a welcome treat. I found the bed perfect for my liking. Will be back again, as good location for day trips up to Bay of Islands and other surrounding areas.

Our stay was lovely the house was great and cozy. Linda was a great host, who made our stay memorable and fun,Linda is very lovely and very friendly. Highly recommended.

Very special place in the middle of the forest. Exhuberant vegetation, vegetables and fruits ready to harvest. Kind company always ready to help. Authentic vintage atmosphere. Three hens, one ruster and five friendly dogs (usually only two small ones). Don't miss it !

Jennie’s place is set in a beautiful garden with a rural feel yet you are able to walk into town in a few minutes. Both Jennie and her husband are very friendly and responsive to any need you might have. The place is comfortable and has its own entrance. We felt very welcomed there and the provided breakfast was above all our expectations! And, they gave us a ride to the airport, too! Would not hesitate to stay there again!

Worth spending three nights here. Very welcoming and helpful. Gave me very good tips for the daily activities and what to see. But mostly important I felt like at home. I hope to come back one day. I huge recommend it❤️

We stayed with Al and Murray for 5 nights and they were just absolutely lovely. We were not there as tourists but to sort out a personal storage unit after losing our sailing boat in the pandemic. Al and Murray provided a home from home for us during this difficult week. The spa is fabulous and extremely relaxing. The pool is spotless. The room is comfy, spacious and airy and the bathroom / shower huge, pristine and well-appointed. We could use the kitchen as needed and the breakfast was excellent. If I could give these guys 6 stars I would. Thank you and we hope to see you in Europe one day.

We had a great 4 nights in this beautiful, cosy house close to Whangarei city. Damien and Vicky were very kind and responsive. Would highly recommend!

Such a beautiful location and the views were breathtaking. Heinz and Brita were warm and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was a great mix of seasonal fresh fruits, yummy treats and beautiful home made breads, we really loved sharing the breakfast with other guests a relaxed and inviting way to meet fellow travellers. Ample parking and wonderful local recommendations, my 16 yr old son and I loved the experience and would definitely book again
