Monthly Rentals in Waitakere River

What an exquisite and inspiring view of Bethells Beach! The view from the deck was amazing. The cottage was very quiet and peaceful. John was an excellent host. We enjoyed walking the beach and hiking to Lake Waimanu past the huge dunes.

Amazing place for a weekend getaway! it's more spacious that it looks in the photos. Also, great sound system with a lot of CDs, so we had a few jazz listening sessions!

We really liked staying in this house. It’s a really great beach house that is quite comfortable and has heaps of personality to it. The views of the Tasman and the nearby dune fields are unbelievable. Paula was such a friendly and effective host. She gave us great advice on how to reach a nearby lake by trekking over the dunes. Definitely want to go back!

The AirBnB was as advertised, a lovely contemporary space set just beyond the Auckland suburbs in rolling countryside, complete with friendly baa-ing sheep (we think they should be listed as an amenity!). Kitchen had everything we needed, showers washer dryer, everything functional. Dianna was friendly and responsive and had helpful suggestions for local sightseeing and activities. We loved the peace and quiet of the setting. Stayed 4 nights and were sad to have to leave to fly home (also Auckland Airport just a 40min drive so we were able to get up, pack up, clean up and drive to the airport on the same day). Would definitely recommend without reservation to anyone thinking of staying in the Auckland area.
