I used it on a family trip with small children and grandparents.It was close to Adventure World and tourist spots along the coast, and supermarkets and Tore Tore markets were also close, so I was able to travel smoothly.The facilities were also well equipped, but there was no hand soap, so it was a little difficult to wash my hands in the children's bathroom and kitchen, but it is a facility I would like to use again.

Ryohei's House is very welcoming. Between the Manga Library, the toys for children, and the big bedrooms, it makes you wish you have a family to enjoy the place together. Everything is super clean, super organized, very convenient and fully equipped. It's close to Hashimoto station, which makes it super easy to go to Koyasan ! I was a little worried because this Airbnb listing is new, but we’re so thankful that we stayed here. Honestly the pictures don’t do the place justice, it’s so beautiful: a perfect blend of traditional and modern. All the amenities are new and stylish and the hosts couldn’t be kinder. They own a local cafe nearby and I also recommend you spend some time there to enjoy lunch or a coffee, you won’t regret it! I’d also recommend you get some groceries before settling in, because the kitchen is great to prepare some meals in. We were running late, but the host was kind enough to take us to a local grocery store, such great hospitality! The area surrounding is a quiet and peaceful, but it gives you a little taste of the Japanese countryside and gets you away from the “gaijin hordes”. Please come and enjoy a few days here, can’t recommend it highly enough!

We used it with 5 families and 23 people. It was large enough for 23 people to spare the room. There were many children, and they responded to preschool children, so I decided. It was very spacious and the children had a fun time running around all the time. I heard that I can camp and play in the river in the summer, so I'd love to stay again for the summer vacation.

It’s simple in the most beautiful way – grounding, peaceful, and full of atmosphere. We stayed in two separate houses, both spacious, clean, and incredibly cozy. Sleeping on tatami mats, cooking in the rustic kitchen, grilling at the fire pit – every moment felt special. Our host was warm and welcoming, and even checked in to see if we needed anything. A small note: don’t come with a large car. The narrow mountain road and the steep driveway are a bit of an adventure themselves – but they are absolutely worth it. This place touched us deeply and has become a true place of longing. We’ll definitely come back and stay longer next time. Thank you for sharing this gem with the world.

The highlight, without doubt, was visiting Ongawara Onsen. Its breathtaking beauty left me speechless, a memory that will stay with me forever. Overall, this minshuku offered exceptional hospitality and comfort. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone traveling to Nachikatsuura.
