We stayed in this beautiful house for two weeks and can see why it is a guest favorite. The house has everything you need and has lovely outdoor and pool areas. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful and it is nice to walk the local roads. It is only a few minutes walk to the nearest grocery stores. If you want to go to Galle or Unawatuna it is only a short Tuktuk ride to beaches, shops and restaurants. The team that manages the property are professional and friendly, and any questions or challenges are resolved quickly and efficiently. We recommend the house and would be happy to return on a later occasion.

We have just returned from 7 wonderful nights at Sudath's beautiful beach home in Ambalangoda. The villa is tastefully furnished and decorated with a delightful mixture of the old and new. The location is superb and we spent hours sitting on the veranda or the beach patio watching the waves (it is Monsoon season so no swimming) and reading and relaxing. Sudath was very helpful and welcoming. He arranged reliable and reasonably priced airport pick up and drop off as well as helping us with taxis and tuk tuks whenever we needed. A special mention must go to his team too, especially Chamali who was so very friendly, helpful and the most wonderful cook. The breakfasts were amazing and she kindly made me vegan pancakes and delicious coconut roti along with home made jam, fresh fruit juice and tropical fruits aplenty. We hadn't planned on eating much at the villa, but the food was so good we ended up eating there every single night of our stay! Vege curries and Kottu to die for.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at Tammy's property. The setting amidst the paddy fields was stunning, and we loved seeing the peacocks, monkeys, and diverse birdlife. Adding to the charm were the lovely dogs on the property, Unnabala and Suddhi. The property itself is amazing, but what truly elevated our stay was Charith, the caretaker. From the moment we arrived, his warm smile and positive attitude were so welcoming. His cooking was exceptional – every meal was delicious! Beyond that, his patience and willingness to help with anything we needed were truly remarkable. Charith's care and dedication made our trip so special. While the location is beautiful, it's Charith who would bring us back to this Airbnb without hesitation on our next visit to Sri Lanka. He is an invaluable asset to this property.

Asela is a great host!!! Very hospitable and friendly, always ready to help with all issues. We lived in the villa for a whole month. The house is always very clean, cleaning every few days. Convenient location of the house, just 10 minutes by tuktuk to the sea and all the establishments. We are very happy that we ended up here I highly recommend this villa, secluded accommodation surrounded by birds and beautiful nature Also really liked Asela's restaurant, one of the best we have visited! Thank you!

The place is in a truly lovely place, nestled amidst lush greenery. The location was incredibly calm and quiet, offering a perfect escape. The house itself was beautiful, even more so than the pictures suggested. Ben was a great host, making sure our stay was absolutely unhindered. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and picturesque getaway.

What a beautiful place. Light, airy with wonderful sea views. Nissanka and Damnika were stars. Always helpful and available. Great cooking. Easy walking everywhere. Will be back. Only slight downside was that the wifi was erratic which wasn’t great for working.

We had a lovely stay at Patricia’s house! Located within the fort, it is a stone’s throw from lovely restaurants as well as historic sites and the cricket ground. Patricia sent a really comprehensive list of recommendations before our stay, which were very helpful and Chandra was on hand to make us feel welcomed and looked after (including a cooked breakfast). There are three bedrooms at the property - two downstairs (two singles and a double) that are connected via a courtyard with a lovely plunge pool. The third bedroom is up a fairly steep set of stairs. Each bedroom has an en-suite. With two young children and two adults, we all opted to stay downstairs and it was plenty of space for us. It was a very wonderful stay, the overall feeling is very nice to see the sea👍🏻 in the bed, I also saw a super beautiful sunset on the first day, with the sound of the waves every night with this natural white noise the🛌 host also prepared the fruit, very delicious😋 It's a bit of a distance from the central scenic spot,🛺 5 minutes by tuk-tuk to the town, but that's great because a lot of attraction salesmen can be avoided All in all it was great and my friend and I really wanted to keep staying
