Cottage holiday rentals in Walcott

The family had a lovely break here, a short drive from Norwich Showground where we attended an event but far enough away for peace and quiet… lovely walks… excellent pub Kings Arms local for dinner. Everything needed was in the lodge including a very appreciated ‘welcome pack’ to start us off on arrival. Highly recommend and hope to return again.

Thank you Mary for letting us stay at your cottage, we had a great time and couldn't recommend it enough to anyone looking to have a peaceful getaway! The hot tub was immaculate and we also enjoyed the swimming pool. The cottage was tidy and comfy, and the location is great - close to some really nice walks and villages. Hope we get the chance to come back!

We had a wonderful stay here, the property itself is beautiful and in a perfect peaceful setting. There was nobody staying next door whilst we were there so it was very quiet and didn’t see anybody passing the property. In a great location, plenty of national trust sites nearby and not far at all from sheringham. William was very responsive and helpful when we had queries. Property was great for our little dog Monty, with plenty of garden space for him. We only wished we were staying longer, so would love to come back!

We enjoyed our stay at Lesleys place. Very near to the sea and close to all beeches we wanted to visit. The cottage had everything we needed and we thoroughly enjoyed the jaccuzzi. The cottage is dog friendly and had all things our 4 month old Labrador puppy needed.

We had a lovely time here our first overnight trip with our new baby. Brilliant hosts, the bread and eggs were a nice touch. Interesting cup lights in the kitchen. Would definitely recommend. Thanks :)

Beautiful cottage in a wonderful little town full of things to do and see (and the beach is not far away). The cottage is really well-appointed and full of cool things. The hot-tub was also a complete luxury!

Beautiful cottage, looked just like the pictures and much more spacious once we got inside. Lovely garden and the hot tub was a bonus. Our dog loved sunbathing on the grass outside and had loads of nature reserves dotted around for us to visit and take the dog on a walk. 10/10 would definitely recommend

We had a most enjoyable stay of 4 nights at The Cart Lodge. Very comfortable for us four adults and two dogs. We enjoyed heading out for part of the day, then returning to sit in the cosy private garden and a spell in the enticing hot tub. Little touches such as having toilet roll provided and bathroom products - soap, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion - was a thoughtful gesture. It was nice in the evening to chill on the comfy sofas with a bit of TV time, before retiring to our comfy beds. The cottage provided all we needed in a beautiful convenient setting for our short break away in Norfolk. Would thoroughly recommend to anybody looking to stay in this area.

Lovely house as described. Enjoyed the short walk to the beach and our dog enjoyed a paddle. Easy access to other towns we wanted to visit.

Melanie’s cottage was great! We were greeted with prosecco and cupcakes which was a lovely additional touch. Holt is a beautiful town and a great base from which to explore from. Parking is in a paid for public car park- a designated space would top it off.

We always stay here when visiting north Norfolk. Love little cottage with everything you need.

Had a wonderful 5 days at this lovely fisherman’s cottage. Only 100 yards from the beach. Lynn was very helpful with plenty of advice on the area and restaurants. We had one problem and Lynn got it sorted right away. The stairs are steep, but understandable in such an old property. Have your own private entrance to the pub out the back gate. It can be noisy at times. But we didn’t find it a problem. Public transport (train and bus)are a short walk away. We used the bus for a trip to see the seals and train to visit friends in Gunton. Will definitely be back!!

As far as we are concerned Caralyn's Airbnb is faultless. It was both everything described and everything we wanted. The dog love it too!

Beautiful cottage would highly recommend, everything of high quality, very peaceful with a short walk into Holt with lovely places to eat, The feathers was a favourite. Jon kept in touch to make sure everything was ok would definitely book again

Really clean and Beautiful. We had a really lovely weekend with our doggie seaside lots of walks. Black boys pub was great food and an easy walk too. Would highly recommend to anyone else thanks:))

We had a great stay :) We love Suffolk and this was a great location for a few days of rest. The lido was so much fun for our 11 year old. Georgies place was perfect and just what we needed. Thank you :)

A beautiful tranquil place to escape a busy life. Perfect for a 5 minute walk to the most beautiful beach. We loved it. Gilly’s place is a perfect base for visiting all of the surrounding towns, villages & more beautiful beaches as they are all within a short drive. The chalet has everything you need for a perfect holiday & Gilly was so helpful before & throughout our stay. She really is the perfect host.

Had a lovely one night stay in The Old Potting Shed. Annette and her husband were very friendly but also very respectful of our privacy. Everything was clean and a comfy bed. It was perfect and the views and quietness was just what we needed. Only wish I could wake up to that every day. Had a lovely meal in the local pub which Annette suggested. Will definitely stay again at some point and hopefully for more than one night!

The Tap room was perfect for a short break. in a beautiful location. It was extremely clean and comfortable and the welcome pack was much appreciated. We would recommend for anyone wanting to stay in a quiet but central location in Blakeney.

From start to finish, it was a lovely stay at Lilys cottage. The cottage is just right for me as I was a solo traveler, but would be just perfect for a couple. Great host’s lovely and friendly. The location was ideal, a short walk from the village center, great pubs and market square. There was a free car park across the road. All in all a fantastic place to stay!

This was our first time in Norfolk and also our first time using airbnb. We were not disappointed. Our Hosts Val and Andy were very attentive if needed, very helpful and friendly couple. We were relatively self sufficient with our stay at Jay's Hatch but this was mainly because our hosts had thought of everything, left clear instructions and we hadn't the need to ask many questions. Jay's Hatch is a beautiful little cottage surrounded by stunning rural views and still only a short drive to the beach. The garden is huge and was perfect for our small dog to run around in. It has a perimeter fence too so no fear of the dog escaping. Fantastic place, highly recommended Simon and Mandy

Amazing stay. Location is great, quiet and right by the sea for lovely walks. Immaculately clean accommodation with little extras. Everything you need has been thoughtfully provided. Even little treats for furbabies. Cant recommend enough.

We had a lovely stay at the cottage. It was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The communication prior to our stay was great and also received photos to help us find the cottage on the day which was very helpful. The peaceful surroundings made for a relaxing break and we managed to make the most of the area despite the weather. Hope to book again in the future to explore more, thank you!

A very comfortable, attractive and well-equipped cottage. Excellent location for accessing the coastal path and the Coasthopper bus makes travelling along the coast very easy. Stiffkey has an excellent, well-stocked store and a good pub.
