This is a beautifully appointed flat that is convenient to the Summertown Shops around the corner. The bus service into Oxford City Centre is frequent and an easy trip. This is also a good place to catch the bus to Blenheim Palace. This charming flat is on a quiet street and Francesca is a terrific host.

Comfortable apartment in excellent location. The apartment is nice and clean. Comfortable beds. The shower is a bit small but workable. Central location with grocery stores and many restaurants within walking distance - yet peaceful location on the river bank.

Mark and Lesley were wonderful hosts -- very responsive and helpful without being overbearing. The apartment was very clean, cozy, and light-filled (when the English weather cooperates.) It feels bigger in person than the pictures might suggest and has everything you need, including a combination washer/dryer. I stayed for around a month and found it to be a comfortable and peaceful spot. The walk along the river from the nearby New Hinksey park was a highlight. For me it took about 20 minutes to get to Christ Church (closer to 30 to get to the Weston Library), but I am a slow walker. It is a nice walk and there are convenient buses if needed. I would definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay at Steve’s flat at Oxford. It is an easy 15 minute walk to Railway Station, and a 5 minute walk to the City Centre. The flat had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. It is in a quiet neighbourhood, and we felt very cosy tucked away in the basement flat. Oxford is a very busy and historical city, with so much to see and do. Definitely worth a visit. Would recommend Steve’s flat to anyone wishing to visit Oxford.

Luigi was extremely friendly and personally came to check in and check out which was very helpful. The place is extremely clean and tidy and has everything you would need. It is a quick very scenic walk to the center of town. There is also an available free parking spot, which is great because parking is very tough in town! It was a wonderful trip! Thank you Luigi for a terrific, care free holiday!!!

We really enjoyed our stay at Vanessa's place in Oxford. The home is quite spacious and bright, with lots of windows. Very walkable to the shopping mall, restaurants, grocery store, trains and busses. The home was clean and uncluttered with plenty of storage. It was very helpful to have the manuals for the appliances, which are different than what we are used to in the US. Highly recommend!

This is my 2nd time staying at this flat and it was a perfect location for me. Everything is close by and easy access to Oxford centre. The flat makes you feel right at home.

Overall it was an amazing stay. the cottage is small, but cozy and perfect for 2 people. it has some quirks, but that is what you would expect with a small and old cottage. There are no electrical outlets in the bathroom and the shower is small so as a 6'1 man, it was difficult but doable to use the shower. The grounds were peaceful and relaxing. Overall, the cottage was as expected and it was a great home base for access to Oxford and the Cotswolds!

The house was absolutely lovely – the perfect getaway for us and a few friends. It had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Phoebe was a fantastic host, incredibly responsive and welcoming, even greeting us when we arrived. We’ll definitely be back!

Lovely quirky cottage with spacious lounge, dining room and kitchen. Very well equipped and we found the beds extremely comfortable. Had a very relaxed one night stay. Great that the check out time was 12pm, much appreciated. Many thanks.

We spent an enjoyable 3 weeks in this very old cottage which has been tastefully and sympathetically restored keeping its original low beams and features. Sydenham is a charming Oxfordshire village very close to the Chilterns. It’s an ideal place to explore from. There are lovely walks and views. It’s an easy drive to the market town of Thame and other thatched villages, many of which appear in Midsomer Murders. The Crown opposite provides pub meals and has a lovely garden.

**A Perfect Stay in the Cotswolds** We had such a wonderful stay at this beautifully presented cottage in the Cotswolds. Immaculate throughout and tastefully decorated, the space felt both cosy and luxurious. A thoughtful touch on arrival was the fresh bread and cake, so welcoming after a journey. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and everything we needed was provided. Deborah, the housekeeper, was fantastic – very responsive and helpful, with clear, timely communication. The location was another highlight – peaceful yet perfectly positioned, with Soho Farmhouse a pleasant walk away. We couldn’t have asked for more and would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a charming and relaxing get away!

Fantastic location, peaceful and quiet. Wallingford down the road is a lovely town too. I used the Stables as I was doing family research in Oxford and it was only 20 minutes out. Jenny welcomed us when we arrived and made it very simple to get in. I will return to continue researching my family tree.

An absolutely idyllic stay at Apple Tree Cottage. We came with our one year old son and it couldn’t have been more ideal for him. Very safe, door at the bottom of the staircase so he couldn’t go up, spacious living space, large garden to play etc. The cottage was incredibly clean but also perfectly cosy. Anywhere we wanted to visit was at maximum an hour away (Cotswold Farm Park, Bourton On the Warter, Diddly Squat Farm, Bicester Village etc). Such a perfect location. We walked around the grounds of the farm down a path to see the cows, sheep and chickens. Cannot recommend enough and we will definitely be returning! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

This is a beautifully presented home. Lots of historic character and decorated in a way that makes you feel like you're staying somewhere way more expensive for a real bargain of a price. Titilola was really responsive beforehand. I am sometimes a bit nervous of properties where the host lives on site but they were great, friendly when we bumped into them but really unobtrusive. We stayed with young kids and grandparents and the house worked for all of us which is rare. The village is just the right size, with a playground, cafe, local shops and pubs all walkable. I wish we'd looked up more about it beforehand and planned more time there. we'll definitely be considering staying again, if only to make the most of the excellent book selection!

Just returned from two nights and what a wonderful stay we had! Everything from booking the trip to departing this morning was perfect. Claire is a truly wonderful host, so friendly and helpful, and the retreat is stunning. Set in a beautiful part of the Cotswolds (and so close to Soho Farmhouse), it’s the perfect place to relax and unwind. From the luxury touches to the beautiful towels, everything was immaculate. The amenities are better than those in some five-star hotels I’ve stayed at. Thank you so much, we can’t wait to return soon.

What a fabulous apartment. Unfortunately we only stayed one night but will definitely return for a longer stay. We’ve been to Marlow several times and this was a perfect base for walking into Marlow to its great eateries and shops. Great communication from Max and Carrie-Anne. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic accommodation! Comfortable, cozy, very clean and well-maintained, perfect for business stays or medium/long-term visits. I stayed in this accommodation for a long-term stay and needed a space with a kitchen. The apartment truly has everything you need and more – it's very functional and equipped with thoughtful touches that make the stay really pleasant. The kitchenette and the kitchen area in general are perfect even for one person and well equiped. It's located in a convenient area, close to green spaces and the river, and just a few minutes’ walk from the city center. Supermarkets are nearby. Cathy is truly an exceptional host, always available for any need, very communicative, and quick to respond if anything comes up. A super positive experience – highly recommended, even for long stays.

The Herb Garden is incredibly quiet, no road noise and very private. The friendly pub is just one mile away for a drink or food. The accommodation is interesting as it used to be a cafe, so the kitchen is very well equipped with 2 double sinks! Everything spotless except the oven which could do with a scrub. We were very pleased to be supplied with 6 eggs, bread, butter, milk, jam, biscuits as well as tea and instant coffee! No cafetiere. I believe the listing says self check in, but we were met by Vanessa's partner and given keys. Exceptionally quick, smooth and friendly. This is not luxury, but it is good value and would really suit couples with a dog as the large garden is very secure. Thank you for our stay.

A great place with plenty of space inside. You can find a bus route into town and a scooter drop-off spot right down the road, and the walk into town is lovely half hour on a nice day. Two dedicated parking bays is also a nice to have in a place like Oxford, where parking can be a nightmare. A couple things around the house were a little old and should be replaced, but otherwise the place has everything you need!

Elaine's apartment was spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfortable with lovely soft bed linen. Elaine left plenty of towels for our use. The shower was roomy and nice and powerful. Everything we needed was provided. The location was perfect for being able to get to and from the high street on foot. The secure car park was easy to access. There are lots of places of interest within short driving distances. We were able to use the balcony which was an added bonus. We would definitely recommend Elaine's apartment and hope to stay there again.

Great location, ideal for a visit to Marlow. The apartment is really tastefully decorated and is immaculately clean. Also has everything you need for a great stay. I stayed for work but also great for a holiday. I’ll definitely book again if I need to stay in the area.
