Ballymaloe Cottage is a guest house with self-catering accommodation. The guest area is an extension to our main part of the house but has its own entrance / patio / parking area. We are located in quiet East Cork, in close proximity to the beach and beautiful woodland walks. Cork City with its airport is 30min away. We have three fully renovated en-suite bedrooms that sleep 8 max. The new large guest kitchen is well-equipped, the bedrooms and bathrooms are modern, luxurious and comfortable.

Accommodation best suited to a couple or family of 4 (2 young children) who are happy to share the large en-suite bathroom. Large separate garden with covered decking area. We have been voted as one of Ireland’s top 50 places to stay by the Irish Independent #Fab50 ( number 26 :)) We spent two years renovating this 200 year old building. In May 2020, it featured on RTE Home of the year and became a finalist in the top 7 homes in Ireland. Irish lights built all 76 lighthouses & keepers houses in Ireland, and this is the only lighthouse keepers house in a town in Ireland!
