Ari’s home was cozy and quiet. We had all we needed for a relaxing writing retreat. Spearate spqces to focus and a table big enough to gather at for meals. The whole space had a peaceful and serene vibe and was a great escape from the city. Would def recommend.

Overall a perfect place to crash for a night or two when in the area. It was quiet and clean. Our only issue was the bed- it’s very soft so of that’s not for you, you may not get a good night’s rest. But mainly the sides are somewhat sloped so I would start to fall toward the floor unless I pushed myself way back into the center. This may not be an issue for a single person, but for two it was. Otherwise a great spot!

There’s a reason why Linda is considered a “Superhost.” She is extraordinarily considerate of the needs of her guests. She greeted me when I arrived and took the time to explain all the ins and outs of the apartment. I’ve stayed in several AirBnBs and have never had a host work so hard to please. Prior to my arrival, she stocked the apartment with my favorite snacks and drinks, as well as a large water dispenser in the refrigerator which was most appreciated. The apartment has been newly renovated with beautiful floors, tile and cabinetry and reflects Linda’s desire to provide the most comfortable home away from home as possible. The apartment is connected to the main house with a breezeway (“Zen Den”) and feels quite secure – important for a woman on her own. One of the most spectacular aspects of the location is the beautiful garden and pool. Spring in New York is amazing and I really enjoyed watching all the trees, flowers and bushes come alive. Great spot for Vassar College parents. Easy, clean. Couple nice restaurants in walking distance. Overall a great stay in a simple affordable location
