Entire mews cottage in Kirkby Stephen

Well equipped cottage. Great location and parking was easy. We didn’t spend too much time in the cottage as we were visiting family. The kitchen was spacious and the sitting room was comfy with a TV that worked. The shower was great!

Had a lovely time at Julie’s, right in the centre of town so easy to walk everywhere and accessible from the train station. Beautifully restored and very cosy. Enjoyed a walk to Rutter force through beautiful countryside.

The Pines Treehouse @ Treetops Hideouts

VictoriaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Absolutely wonderful stay at Treetops. From the moment you shut the gate you feel like the stresses of the outside world have disappeared! Everything has been thought of and more! We loved watching movies on the giant screen, playing darts on the deck and eating tapas whilst watching the cows in the field through the tree canopy. Lisa and Martin are on hand if you have a queries or need anything but you wouldn’t know anyone was nearby as the whole place is so secluded and private! We loved the outdoor shower, what a treat and enjoyed the hot tub even in the rain! If you are unsure of wondering if it’s worth the money, DON’T hesitate you will never regret it! A truly special place and you can see the effort in every detail!

Cumbria, tranquil rural village, relax, enjoy.

KathrynRating, 5 stars1 week ago
A cosy, peaceful haven surrounded by natural beauty. We had a lovely weekend stay at Tawny Owl cottage. It's small and cosy, with a narrow spiral staircase, but everything was super clean and comfy, with a gorgeous view of the back garden. The chickens provide much entertainment on their own, and the local landscape is beautiful and unspoiled. Had good pub food in Dufton and Nateby, and useful shops in Appleby for provisions. Ian was super welcoming and made us feel right at home. Would love to return.

Town End Farmhouse, Luxury Victorian 3 bed home

JackRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We stayed here for my girlfriends birthday with our dog. The house is absolutely stunning and very large - the photos don’t even do it justice! Iain and Louise were very responsive, beds were incredibly comfortable and we very much enjoyed the beautiful village setting. We would love to visit again!

Stunning views nr Lake District, spacious & snug

SarahRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
What an absolutely stunning location! We wanted a relaxing break and this is exactly what we got. Vicki and Tom have created something really special. The Hayloft is small yet had everything we needed for a family of 5. There were plenty of books and games to enjoy. Vicki greeted us at the door, making us feel welcome and had left us some homemade treats. The kids had a blast, exploring the grounds, playing on the trampoline and climbing the nearby hill to catch a glimpse of the fighter jets flying overhead. There was a lovely walk to the river and you can roam freely over the fields. We enjoyed watching the sheep and horses roam and also saw deer, rabbits, frogs and kestrels. The house has a view of the Settle-Carlisle railway so we enjoyed a bit of train spotting too. There was so much to soak up before we even thought about heading out. The nearby town of Kirkby Stephen had plenty of shops and we enjoyed a meal from The Mango Tree Indian. We would 100% recommend a stay here!
