Great place to stay! Cabins are cute and super clean! Hosts are wonderful and think of every little thing to make your stay wonderful. Perfect getaway during COVID! I will be back, next time with friends or family!

This was a nice one night stay for my sister and me.

Loretta and Robert are fantastic host! The cabin was as described and we enjoyed it! Very peace-full Surroundings. Loretta leaves you great detailed instructions, but don’t be like me and read them well! (I had to call about a power issue but I didn’t read to keep a switch on ) They were very responsive when I messaged for anything! Be prepared for a short walk up a hill! Loretta helped us our first night which was very nice! The shower house/bathroom was nice and clean. We did arrive late due to being in town for races but she did meet us and helped us ride up with our stuff. A young gentleman was also offered to help Load us also. The location is just a short 20 minute drive to Speedway and was easy to drive, no traffic. There is a convenient Dollar General close for supplies! We hope to stay again and would be perfect for Merlefest and Race Weekend.

The cottage was adorable! Squeaky clean, quiet, peaceful, comfy bed.... The place had terrific amenities all wrapped into a cozy space. We were able to relax and catch up on sleep and it was just a short drive to shopping, restaurants, and activities. Staying here made a long weekend really enjoyable!

A lovely, lovely retreat in a mountain community. Beautiful back yard with a side porch that we lived on. The host thought of everything we could possibly need- and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed the first evening and the morning after. Beautiful redone loft cottage behind the main house- bedroom and very nice bathroom downstairs- with a spacious loft bedroom upstairs. Living and dining area very comfortable. Space is well planned. The hosts could not have been more accommodating. This will be someplace we will return. Close to great hiking. We had two couples and it worked well- despite only having a single bath.

Beautiful little place! The guest house was clean and very comfortable, with great hosts in a calm neighborhood close to downtown West Jefferson. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area!

Very cute place to stay! Attached to the owners property but still secluded away. Perfect for my boyfriend and I who just wanted some peaceful sleep between hiking and seeing family! Would recommend!

Our family of five recently enjoyed a long weekend getaway at Grandfather’s View, and it was nothing short of exceptional. We have stayed at numerous Airbnbs over the years, and this property easily ranks in our top three. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the breathtaking views of Grandfather Mountain and the pristine surroundings. The cabin was immaculate — and we are particularly picky when it comes to cleanliness. Every corner of the home was spotless, and it was evident that the owners take great pride in maintaining the property to the highest standards. The kitchen, bathrooms, and living spaces were all impeccably clean, making us feel comfortable and at home from the start. The fresh linens and neatly made beds were an added bonus, enhancing the overall sense of care and attention to detail. The little apartment over the garage was very nice. Stephanie and Chad was very accommodating. They even asked if we wanted to come to their family Thanksgiving. They were always there if we needed anything and always got back to us if we had any questions. The apartment was very clean and updated. It was very convenient for what we were doing in Boone. We and our little dog fell in love with the fireplace. We will definitely recommend it to our friends who want to visit Boone.

When I pulled down the drive that lead to the Barn behind the host's home, there were three deer standing there ready to greet me. Good omen, I's say. The Barn was simply outstanding. Nestled in the woods and off the beaten path, this is a perfect get away for anyone looking for peace and quite. I travel quite a bit for work (Which is why I was in the area to begin with) and spend a lot of time in hotels as a result. This time, I chose to go a different route and I am glad that I did! The Barn was immaculate and very inviting and Josh, the host, is very responsive. All in all, a very positive experience. I hope to stay here again during my next business trip to the area.

Only stayed for one night, but everything about the place was perfect. Everything was very clean, super organized. Definitely enjoyed our stay here. Rosa was always responsive, never had to wait too long for a response. Definitely a home I recommend to book your stay!

Perfect place for our two week stay! So easy to walk to coffee, food, and the library. Lovely house and hosts.

This place was perfect for what I needed. Very close to the Green Way so my fur baby and I could walk. The location was close to grocery store, gas station and Dollar General. The home itself was welcoming, comfortable, had everything I needed and the perfect size for me. Privacy was perfect, although the family that lives in the main house is on the property, they never bothered me and was very friendly and welcoming. If I could have lived there forever, I would have!!!

So glad we chose to stay with Lacy. The guest house was clean, and we really enjoyed the list she gave us of things to do in the surrounding area.

The home was much larger than I anticipated and is very private for a guest house. The sound of the creek was amazing and so was the rain on the roof. We made use of the kitchen which was well equipped. The property hiking trail is steep, but enjoyable. There are a some trees down due to Helene, but it was pretty nonetheless. The pigs and chickens were a delight and a good highlight to the stay. Over all very peaceful and relaxing. Also: The host was very helpful when there was a road closure, he directed us to an alternative route to town.

Our stay at TRR was a great experience. The place was spacious, very clean, nicely decorated, and conveniently located to downtown. The amenities were super… big refrigerator, covered carport at the door, puffy soft bath towels, gas fireplace, large bathroom, and many personal touches that made us feel at home. Thank you Ashley, and we look forward to returning next year!

Jefferson and Deborah were such wonderful host. Blueberry Cottage was everything and more. The cottage was clean, comfortable and very private. It had everything that you could need for a wonderful stay. The grounds around it were beautiful and you could tell a lot of love went into making it that way. We had a lot of rain which kept us from exploring the grounds more, but the porch made for a relaxing escape to sit and read during the rain. A peaceful and a perfect place to wind down. We love the Wilkesboro area and we hope to be able to visit again and stay at Blueberry Cottage. Thank you for being so accommodating and letting us drop off our things before our event. We would certainly recommend this cottage to anyone visiting the area.
