Peaceful neighborhood, the deck and living room were both great areas for three couples to relax and hang out. Especially enjoyed watching the deer grazing below us from the deck. Beds were very comfortable and the rest of the house was well furnished.

We absolutely enjoyed the house, everything was as described and certainly off the beat and path. Serene and peaceful. Plenty of kitchen accessories to cook and three levels of bedrooms and private space for a big family or outing. We’ll be back for sure!

Great communication, clear and concise instructions for check in and check out. Lots of thoughtful amenities provided, even treats for our pups. Kitchen is fully stocked and bathroom products are provided. Great place to get away, but close enough to all the area has to offer.

This house is cozy and beautiful. It made our girls trip with a couple of kiddos so much more special. Toddler and infant friendly and the interior is designed beautifully.

What a lovely place! We enjoyed the comforts of this sweet home. The views from the decks and large windows were quite a treat. Well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and bedding, and a great assortment of games. Convenient location. Would like to return the next time we visit Beech.

Alex place was exactly as described. Clean, spacious, quiet and large enough to accommodate my family celebrating my daughter’s graduation. In addition, they allowed us a later check out since they did not have other guests checking in that day. We enjoyed the sunrise/sunset on their extended patio. Hot tub was a plus. Everything was perfect!

This was the perfect house to stay in for my graduation. It wasn’t too far from App and had everything we needed. Angela was responsive and timely whenever contacting her. The book in the living room was fun to look through.. I’m glad more people have been able to enjoy this space. We will be returning soon!

Loved staying here with our teenage sons! It was the perfect home base to explore this area - everything was within 15-30 minutes! Charlotte made great food and drink reccs so definitely check those out. When we did decide to stay home we were never bored: enjoying a big screen movie, pac man, or the patio with music and drinks - we were very pleased to stay in. We got to see fireflies from the porch at night, used the tennis courts and pool and the hilly roads around the neighborhood were perfect for running (downhill anyway!). There were plenty of cooking items which we love and the towel warmers were a luxurious touch. We would rent this place again in a heartbeat! The owners were very responsive and also provided so much info and we are grateful for that.

A great location if you are doing activities at Beech Mountian resort, very walkable. They were very responsive and provide very good info for dining and activities.

This place was so peaceful and relaxing. We fished directly off the deck and could see the fish from there also. We attempted to find the steps down to the water a few homes over but we weren’t able to locate them. We loved that the home was back off the road but still very close to town and many local places. The neighborhood was very quiet and well maintained. Everything exceeded our expectations for the home and location!! The only suggestion I can give is for a WELCOME binder with lists of local restaurants and other attractions and clear instructions to the steps down to the water. Also, include a checkout checklist. And maybe a book for all visitors to sign and leave a word about their visit and where they are visiting from! Just ideas I have seen in other past rental homes! Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and didn’t want to leave!

Great peaceful place to stay. We had an absolute blast while we were there. It is absolutely beautiful. Lance was a great host and made you feel right at home. You would never even know he was there if he hadn’t come out and met you the place is absolutely beautiful if you’re looking for a peaceful place to stay, you can’t go wrong staying here. It is beautiful. Words can’t describe how beautiful it was there and what was even more amazing two jets flew right over where we were staying at at a very low altitude. I meant words can’t describe when you see that and also the wildlife was everywhere. A deer walked up within 20 feet of us. We loved our stay and we were going back in October.

The hosts did above and beyond. They were very responsive and helpful throughout all my questions. Would recommend to anyone visiting boone. Beautiful location, private and very near blowing rock.

Can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay! Richard is an excellent host who obviously wants his guests to have the best stay possible. Our personal favorites were the outdoor areas. The surrounding are so beautiful and peacful, and Richard's home provides a gazebo, porch with sofa, fire pit, and deck dining which we loved. If you want a cozy cabin in the mountains, Richard's place is for you!

We had a fantastic stay at the cabin! It was so cozy and relaxing. We loved having the creek out back. The location was great and it was so nice being such a close walk to Grandfather Mountain Vineyard with live music and beautiful mountain views! Aubri was very quick to respond and was an excellent host!

We have been staying here since 2019. Always a wonderful, peaceful place to stay! And the dogs love to run and play in the river. Elizabeth is a perfect host!

I hated we weren't here longer. This place was everything I had hoped for and more. The surroundings were beautiful. It felt private but was a short drive to many restaurants and activities. The animals were so friendly and it provided my 18 month old daughter a great experience feeding and meeting some farm animals in real life. Sir Henry would keep patrol of the area and made sure everything was always on the up and up. There was ample room for our little family and watching the sunlight trickle through the leaves while soaking in the hot tub was just icing on the cake. We will definitely visit again.

Tom is very responsive. Answered all of our questions and replied promptly. There was a large group of us visiting for our granddaughter's graduation from App State. We had a great time playing pool , corn hole, and board games. Kitchen was well equipped to prepare our food for the party. The sleeping accommodations were all very comfortable. Three full baths was so great to have with our group. The setting was beautiful, serene and private. Would definitely stay there again.

Our stay at these beautiful cabins was nothing short of amazing! The location is perfect—peaceful, scenic, and surrounded by absolutely pristine mountain views that are simply breathtaking. Photos don’t do it justice; the views are truly irreplaceable. The cabins themselves were clean, cozy, and well-maintained, offering a perfect retreat for rest and relaxation. The host was incredibly nice and very responsive, making the whole experience smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. This is the kind of place you want to return to again and again. I would definitely come back with my family in the future—highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind in nature with all the comforts of home!

My fiancé and I loved staying at The Shed. It was a very cozy, private spot with beautiful mountain views. Robert was a very communicative and kind host as well. Would recommend!
