Holiday rentals with beach access in Watchet

A very nice flat with fantastic seaviews. Has everything that you need and the communication with the host was always exemplary.

Fantastic little spot, 5 mins walk to the harbour 10mins to the center of town. Views were stunning and the photo's and description didn't really do it justice, better than we expected. Perfect spot to explore the North Coast.

Great stay. First things first: the views are stunning. The flat is bigger than I expected and is perfect for a family of 4. The flat is well equipped and with all you need for your stay like salt, pepper, tea, coffee, soap, even some toiletries and kitchen supplies like cling film etc (big thank you for that!) which means you can arrive with just your suitcase. Only missing thing is a dishwasher but we weren’t cooking complex meals. Parking in the street is fine but you might have to tour neighbouring streets for a spot. Over all we had a great time and would highly recommend the place.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment was spotlessly clean upon arrival, bright and comfortable. Quiet at night. Nice views from the living area over the harbor and looking over the town from the large bedroom. As Suzanne had noted in the listing, there is no assigned parking space which could be an issue. We had to pay to park the day of arrival. It’s free after 6pm until 8am. One item we’d suggest adding would be a clothes hanger for drying as the machine didn’t seem to actually dry anything. We’d highly recommend Seagulls restaurant (book in advance). Unassuming place but food was excellent. We also liked Platform for a Sunday roast and Rise for breakfast. The George was decent. If we’re back in West Bay, we’d definitely stay again.

I was genuinely impressed by how comfortable and cozy the apartment was. Everything is done with care and attention to detail — it’s clear a lot of love went into creating this space. It was a real pleasure to stay here, and I honestly wished I could have stayed longer. The location is also great, especially if you’re travelling without a car. I told my four-year-old we had been invited by 2 queens to stay in their castle—and what queens they were! Such a friendly reception and what a wonderfully whimsical place. The location is fabulous: you can’t see another property, just rolling hills of sheep (the friendliest photobombing sheep I’ve ever come across!), chickens, cows, horses… and the dogs are such a sweet, quiet presence too. Beds are luxurious and the whole house is super cosy with a fab little private garden. A real gem! Would definitely return.

We had a lovely stay at the loft. It was just as described. Beautiful and comfortable. A great little place for a few days away. The little local beach was fab and you’re only a short drive away from lots more things to see and do.

First time visiting Beer, we loved it. Cottage is a short (& nice) walk from the wonderful beach. Very convenient for Beer's great variety of restaurants and pubs, and the shop of course. Felt spacious, the bedrooms were both large with comfy beds. Parking space a real bonus & an outdoor morning sun suntrap with comfy seats was a nice suprise. Lovely bonus to get an early check in. Would be happy to recommend.

My son was getting married locally so this property was perfectly located with the bedrooms and bathrooms we needed. Clean and tidy, coffee machine which is a must for us! Accommodated my partner and I, my parents snd my adult daughter. They also allowed my friends to park their motorhome on the driveway too which was very much appreciated and extremely kind. There is some road noise but it didn’t affect us and I live in the countryside so not used to traffic noise. Host was extremely responsive and friendly. Highly recommend.

We loved our stay in this very cosy and peaceful house! The beach nearby is super close and the kids enjoyed looking out for fossils and playing in the tar and the waves. We appreciated all the recommendations given by Bronwen in the house files. The house is lovely, very well decorated and cosy. And to quote my son as he entered the bathroom "wow, this is very clean!". Thanks again 😊

Had a lovely stay at the old chapel and wished we could have stayed longer. Very clear directions from Stephen to find the property, and then very easy check in. Property is beautiful, very quirky but extremely comfortable and well furnished. The beds were also very comfortable. The high light for me had to be the fantastic grand piano. The piano is beautiful to look at and sounds amazing……definitely won’t seem the same playing my Yamaha digital!! Stephen was always very communicative and was very prompt in helping us sort a problem that we caused. As other reviews have mentioned, there is a bit of road noise but is really only a few cars in the morning and evening, otherwise very peaceful. Would definitely like to return to this property.

We booked this for a special birthday for 3 generations of the family The house was beyond our expectations! So well equipped and very clean The views were absolutely amazing Our 3 grandsons loved it and especially the visit to feed the animals and were very excited to collect the eggs Samantha was a fabulous host and we would fully recommend her house and we would love to return again

This is a fantastic, secluded spot for a stay in North Devon. Though quiet itself, it's less than 10 minutes' walk to Braunton which has a selection of shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants which Ant helpfully guides with recommendations. The place itself is beautifully done, with a full kitchen, large bedroom and bathroom, and excellent outdoor area for barbecues in addition to a lovely firepit. The landscaping of the gardens is stunning, it's a brilliant place to relax, and Ant is very helpful and responsive if you have any issues or want tips on what to do.

Had a great time staying here with all the family, the house is so close to the beach it was perfect for us! Was such an easy and chill stay with a surprise hamper full of goodies when we arrived. Would love to stay here again and Tristan was super helpful with recommendations and extra info!

What a fabulous place to stay, couldn’t have been more perfect! Beautiful setting ,so peaceful, immaculate interior but comfy too! Having two bathrooms was great felt very luxurious. Also a perfect length walk to the incredible Valley of The Rocks and Lynton with handy food shops. Will definitely recommend to others and will definitely be going back. Paul and Wendy were super friendly and had great suggestions for some lovely swim spots, we were 4 ladies on a wild swim weekend! Thank you Wendy and Paul Suzanne

Beautiful apartment with stunning views. brand new bathroom with walk in shower and lovely Neal's Yard products which smell amazing. Welcome pack of food goodies including milk, butter, croissants cheese, jam, marmalade and a bowl full of fresh fruit. Couldn't have asked more from our hosts Lynne and Neal. Stayed for 4 night’s at Neal’s flat and we loved it. Very clean, beautifully styled and furnished with lots of thoughtful touches. Centrally located in town so no problems finding shops, pubs and eateries. The Spicy Mare takeaway just a few doors away is exceptional, but there are lots of other options available. Beautiful countryside very close by, lots of walks to choose from. Be prepared for hills ( although there is a funicular railway between Lynton and Lynmouth if you need to cheat!). We hope to stay again.

What can I say? WOW! And Beautiful! One of the best bnb’s I’ve stayed in. Location was perfect. Long walks but be prepared for the hills, plenty of places to eat and drink. Relaxing surroundings and peaceful. The apartment was very luxurious, clean and comfortable. Shirley was very informative and helpful and left lovely drinks and snacks for us which was lovely. If I had to find any negatives with the property the only thing I can think of is there was no tv in the bedroom. Not everyone likes this anyway. We had our iPad so watched a film in bed from there so no real issue. Watch out for seagulls and pidgeons! They are in abundance. lol! Overall we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Thank you Shirley!

Host is responsive There are lots of elements to make a stay more comfortable e.g. plenty of kitchen items, very comfortable bed, lovely patio area with a sun awning. I used gingerly as had spotted a couple of hornets which are frightening in size Local shop in the filling station is cute, even had a vegan magnum Nice to have wipe clean floors Although a small fan provided hot nights might be more challenging as no windows to open just doors. Local lanes are for brave drivers, if it wasn’t for them I would return. Too many large vehicles encountered with only passing place at one point due to someone not parking on their drive otherwise no idea what would have happened. Gorgeous place. Romantic.
