Family-friendly holiday rentals in Water Island

We really enjoyed our stay. Stanford’s place was perfect. The resort was great, with nice restaurants and access to the beach. There are taxi drivers in the lobby so it was easy to get around. It was even close to the ferry so we went to St. John’s twice for the carnival. Will definitely stay here again.

To say Keshri’s apartment was fabulous would be an understatement! The view from the balcony was nothing short of breathtaking—like a living postcard or a dreamlike screensaver. Each morning, we sipped our coffee while watching catamarans glide across the turquoise sea—pure serenity. The walk to the pristine beach was quick and easy, making it effortless to enjoy the sun and sand whenever we wished. Great restaurants were just a short walk or drive away, and we also discovered a few hidden-gem beaches nearby that were perfect for exploring and snorkeling. On evenings we chose to stay in, the well-appointed kitchen made cooking simple and enjoyable. With grocery stores close by, it was easy to stock up and feel right at home. We had an unforgettable week at Keshri’s place and would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a peaceful, picture-perfect island escape. Goodbye for now—and see you again, USVI St. Thomas. You truly stole our hearts!

Happy with stay. View was spectacular. 100% need a Jeep or SUV to get to the house. Wonderful experience. Would go back.

a little tough to find in the rain and dark, but the location is excellent and it's the end unit on the beach next to the restaurant. the convenience and proximity to the east end goings on was excellent. theres also a bunch of snorkeling equipment, bug spray, sunscreen , etc thats left from other guests. again, super handy.

That was a great stay, nice views, and very close to beach. Note that it is a murphy bed / pull down bed.

Great week at Leap of Faith. Everything was immaculate, and Amy was a terrific and very responsive host. Helped us to book a catamaran excursion that turned out to be terrific, very helpful with insight about local places. Would highly recommend everything about it.

We absolutely adored our stay at Fairwinds! None of us were ready to leave when the time came. The view, the comfortable sitting and eating arrangements, the porch, the pool - we were so relaxed. It was even better than we expected.

The location is very close to the waterfront and accessible to other activities. Host was very nice and responsive.

More than a Airbnb, this place a community of wonderful people congregating in a beautiful natural atmosphere. The two other groups there with me both have been going there yearly for almost a decade and it’s clear why. We even got offered a boat trip snorkeling in the middle of the bay among other hospitality! A fantastic place to support

Chris was extremely responsive and answered all of our questions. She also gave us local recommendations and had a cooler and beach chairs available for us to take to the local beaches.

Jeff’s beachfront Airbnb is a peaceful place away from the hustle and bustle of the busy port towns. The sound of waves at night was so relaxing. The condo was clean and had everything we needed. The provided beach chairs and cooler were essential for our trip. Debbie was super helpful with any questions we had. We loved the friendly animals, gorgeous views, and easy beach access—truly a perfect getaway!

Awesome Villa! We were looking for a place slightly off the beaten path and this was perfect. The view of Hull bay from the Villa is incredible and beach was a short walk and great for snorkeling. The bar/restaurant behind the beach was great too. Short drive to Magens bay allowed us a change of scenery throughout the week. The layout of the villa was great for 3 separate couples because each bedroom has its own private entrance. Sarah is a great host and very responsive. Would love to come back some time.

We enjoyed our stay at Sea Cliff Villas. I would definitely recommend a car if you’re staying here. We did not venture to the beach at Bolongo Bay, but did drive to many close beaches for snorkeling and nothing on the island is too far. The unit had everything we needed for the week, including toilet paper and a roll of paper towels which not all owners provide. The unit was clean and as expected. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with Mike on our next trip to the island.

This was our second year staying in the condo and we loved it just as much this time as before. The views from every room of the condo are just spectacular, so we are constantly reminded of where we are and to chill! Perhaps the most striking thing about the condo aside from the views is that it feels like someone's home rather than a rental. The appliances (large and small) are top notch, and inside and outside dining are comfortable and have as good a view as you would find anywhere. Coming "home" from exploring the beaches was something to look forward to every day, as it meant watching the sun go down from the balcony with a cocktail and nowhere to be. We also discovered the easy way to walk into town, which somehow we missed last year, so we saved on some taxi fares (though walking back up the hill is a bit of a workout). Parking was always available. It would be tough to find anything to complain about unless you were really trying. We hope to return again soon.

Great location on St Thomas for all points east or west. Quiet and private! We would definitely stay here again.

I’ve been to st Thomas before and stayed at a hotel, I am so happy that the bachelor trip decided to do an air bnb because this place was perfect for it, hot in the day plenty of sun, amazing pool view, cool and clean at night. If I ever came back with a big group, 100% staying here again, thank you Victoria -Kai’s bachelor party

Our families stay at Mikes property in Bolongo Bay was wonderful. From the moment we booked his place all the way up till we headed home, Mike was easy to talk to, had tons of great information, super responsive to questions we had before and during our stay. We would love to return to St Thomas and with Mike having multiple options of places to stay, we would definitely look to him as our first option. Mike provides a lot of up front information and it was very helpful in our planning of things to do, how to get around, and where to eat. The condo we stayed at was easy to get to, had a beautiful view, and was in excellent condition. The staff at Watergate Villas were very friendly and helpful as well. Also the location at Bolongo Bay made getting anywhere on the island very easy. Most definitely a five star experience.

Mike went above and beyond and was a fantastic host! The information he gave before our trip was well thought out and extremely helpful. His place was absolutely beautiful. We cannot wait to book again next year!

Mike’s place is exactly as described. It is furnished with everything one would need to have a nice vacation. Perhaps the best accolade is Mike himself, who has extensive experience with the island and provides local knowledge that is indispensable, especially for first timers. Mike is available constantly and is happy to talk via phone whenever you are available. He accepts our calls immediately. The location seems to be 15 minutes from everywhere. This is a good choice for an affordable price.
