Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Water Island

This triplex, that amounts to a five bedroom, 4 bathroom house worked exceptionally well to accommodate my three friends and me…All appliances worked well and we literally did not have any problems whatsoever … it is a Very safe location way up in the mountain; so safe was it that we never had to be concerned about locking the doors, day or night… I recommend this location without reservation! Our 31-day stay was very enjoyable, in large part due to Pierre's responsiveness! The property is dated, and typical island style, as advertised and as expected. We had some issues (check-in cleanliness, kitchen provisions, pool issues, washing machine issues), but each and everyone of these problems were solved immediately once we let Pierre know. This property is fantastic for pet owners (we brought our Mini-Dachshunds), as the entire outdoor living space is contained.

Very good place with a beautiful view besides being equipped with everything you need to enjoy the island and have coffee and other snacks ready for any craving I highly recommend this place!

This place is awesome. Very clean, great views, and as described on website. To avoid confusion there are two Albert's. Dad who lives on the property and is the taxi driver and Albert the son who is the off site owner. The airport taxi was $18.00 per person. Albert took 8 of us comfortably with luggage. The taxi to a restaurant was $12.00 per person each way.

Water island hideaway was an amazing location. It was a bit challenging to get to as you do require a cart rental if you have any luggage due to the hills. However the people on the island go above and beyond making the experience worth the hike. The wildlife there was outstanding to experience from the protected red footed tortoise visit to the daily lizard and hermit crab races it was always something just outside worth seeing. We truly enjoyed lounging on the deck under the pergola just listening to the waves and birds, quite relaxing! Jan went beyond and above as a host advising of the local needs and providing many necessities that are hard to get locally. We enjoyed both restaurants on the island tremendously. Heidi’s fish tacos and Dinghy’s poke bowl cannot be missed! Everyone on the island are just wonderful people.

Perfect place for my wife and I to spend our anniversary!!! Everything was super clean and exceeded our expectations. They even decorated for us with rose petals! There were so many necessary items like dishes, bottled water, toiletries, and towels stocked up. There were also covid kits with masks, sanitizer, and Lysol that we were able to utilize as a courtesy as we toured the island. The host was extremely easy to contact and he went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and enjoyed ourselves. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting St Thomas in the near future!!

Great location…clean space

Anna was very responsive and accommodating. I would definitely recommend having a rental car because our taxi wanted to charge us more to drive up to the gate to get into the complex and it’s much easier than waiting for a taxi. Bring bug spray if you plan on sitting out on the balcony! Bring laundry detergent if you plan on using the washing machine. The condo was spotless and comfortable. Perfect for a couple night stay for two people! Views from the pool were picturesque!

We had a wonderful 2 week stay. Ms Jackie was so helpful and always available to answer our questions and provide suggestions. It was exactly what we wanted and needed.

Amazing stay at Ana’s place! Walking distance to the beach and all the restaurants sapphire beach has to offer. Would absolutely come back!! Ana was so responsive with recommendations and help when needed. Thank you!!

This place was amazing! So peaceful and serene, the beach is a 1 min walk from the from door, private with spectacular views and an absolutely perfectly oeaceful environment. The community was inviting and warm, everyone was genuinely happy that I was there and I felt like famiky with the way I was welcomed and recieved. The unit itself was perfect with a spectacular kitchen, AC, and private bedroom with ample sleeping for 4. This was a steal at the cost and would use this again if I returned. The pool was not working during my trip but it did not matter as the beach was so inviting. A car is needed to see different parts of the island but there are private picturesque beaches within walking distance. Sunrises and sunsets were astonishing and breathtaking from the bluff above the private beach, a short 10 min hike. The fire pit, was a great place to meet locals and have great conversations along with a family style BBQ to bring it all together really made this place feel like home.

The home was exactly as described. The location was perfect, kind of in the middle of all major sites; ferry to St. John and Red Hook wine and dine area are down the road. The home was spotless clean and had all the extras that you would use in your own home. Camila was very responsive for the few questions we had. We would absolutely come back!

Beautiful home with everything you need for your vacation. The home is in pristine condition and very well decorated. The pool area is perfect to enjoy the day and even the sunset. You will need a car, but it is very close to everything. Karen was extremely responsive and helpful with instructions to the house and surroundings including not only descriptions, but also photos and even an app. The house looks even better than in the photos. Loved it and would definitely recommend.

Stacy was very responsive and helpful with finding the place after arrival. The neighborhood melts away when you are in the home and listening to the music of the wildlife. Be mindful that this is a humid and tropical location, so be prepared to get creative with ways to stay cool. 😎

Ivelisse was super kind and accommodating. When I asked for suggestions she gave them to me with no problem. Her place was exactly as described and when I come back to St.Thomas I know exactly where to stay!!

Jenny and Arnold provided a fantastic experience! The home was spacious, clean, fully equipped with all essentials, making it feel like a home away from home. Each bedroom was comfortable, providing plenty of privacy for everyone in our group. The location was convenient, with an amazing ocean view ….Jennifer was an excellent host, providing clear instructions and quick responses to any questions we had. She even offered helpful recommendations for nearby activities. Overall, I highly recommend Jennifer's home for anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay! I will most definitely be back thank you for everything!!

We started every morning with coffee on the deck along with the roosters and two cats. It seemed like whatever beach we were going to or ferry it was 20 minutes from the rental. Definitely very hilly but that’s part of the islands. We rented jeeps and shop early for the best prices. We ate breakfast and dinner on the deck watching the sun set and rise everyday. Lots of rainbows. The rental is fully stocked with beach towels, linens, beach chairs and the kitchen had an array of oils and spices. Nice gas grill, poolside. We brought some food that we froze and packed it in our checked bags with light weight ice packs. We looked on line at what items were best to bring. Well stocked kitchen with all cooking utensils. Great rental for a group of friends or a family. Looking forward to going back to enjoy some SST fun in the sun.

The place was super clean and comfortable for the both of us. The location is perfect, very central and close to the Havensight area. I feel that a car in St. Thomas is a must, but the house is so centrally located that it may be easy to get a taxi to move around. The communication with the rental company was perfect and they made sure we were taking care of at all times. Very happy with this rental, I will rent it again.

Everything was excellent, Austin was super diligent for everything, we had everything as in our house and the location is a very good 3 min drive from the Crow Bay Marina!

Staying with Lloyd was a fantastic start to our Virgin Islands trip. The views from the balcony of the surrounding area were stunning, and the house was clean and cool. My partner and I came down with a cold the day we checked in, and it was the perfect spot to recuperate. We stayed mostly in the AirBnB and entertained ourselves by sitting on the balcony and putting together the many puzzles and board games he stocked the closer with. Lloyd was so kind and friendly, and we would definitely stay with him again.
