Townhouse holiday rentals in Waterford

We decided last minute to go away for Easter and Jean's place was ideal. It was quiet and located a short drive away from local sights. The place itself was perfect and as it is in the photos. Jean was very helpful and friendly and the pieces of lemon drizzle and yoghurt pots were a nice touch!

The location was excellent, especially if attending a wedding at The Haven Hotel, and Dunmore East is lovely. Communication could have been better but no major complaints. We booked the entire townhouse so we were missing kitchen amenities which is as per the listing but that does make it more on the expensive side. I'd say it's more suited to a normal Bed and Breakfast but overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.

Maison très agréable à vivre! Chambres indépendantes et fonctionnelles… pièce à vivre et cuisine hyper conviviale et bien chauffée! Cheminée agréable!… Vue sur la mer, très calme et super marché en traversant la rue! Facile pour se garer… gentille attention de bienvenue! Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

We had 11 guests in total, from my brothers with wife’s to friends and partners, we were over from Scotland for a friends wedding, we couldn’t ask for a better accommodation, communication from you Patricia and your father in law, lovely home there to be proud of. You never always know what to believe when you see a review, I can assure you this home is incredible thanku so much x

The place was way bigger than we expected, there was twenty in our group and we were never stuck for space. The kitchen has a good layout so it made the meal times very easy for our large group, the eating area was able to accommodate all of us at the same time as well. The games room had the table tennis table in it which ensured some competitive entertainment. Outside had 3 tables with 20 garden chairs which was perfect for the sunny weekend we were lucky to have and the garden is big enough for some games we brought with us, boules and badminton. Nearby there are shops and pubs within a 5 minute walking distance. Cahir is also the town nearby with lovely shops, cafes and pubs (the Lazy bean cafe would be a recommendation of ours). The Mitchelstown caves are only a 15 drive which we would recommend to anyone visiting (€9 entry pp). Last but not least the host, Before arrival There was good contact and some helpful tips. When we arrived Garry showed us around and told us what we needed to know about the house and the surrounding area. He was so friendly and was always available to help us out with anything. Would recommend this to all groups whether it be family gatherings or groups of friends. 100% will come back!

My parents stayed in Brian’s airbnb and had a great week. All they wanted was a restful week of sunshine and beach and they got that plus much much more! Brian and his wife were very accommodating - my parents even got to check in earlier which they absolutely loved! The house was beautiful, so on theme with a beachside holiday. I visited during one of the days and was genuinely delighted to see how nice it was there. Everything you could possibly need was provided. Will definitely be back! Also really appreciated how he set up the WiFi for my mum on her iPad - it’s the little touches that make the biggest difference!

This was our first AirB&B experience and I have to say it was an absolute pleasure to stay in Trionas home. We have two small girls and for them to have the space was amazing. Triona was amazing to deal with and the house was extremely clean. Felt like a home away from home. The location was ideal as we were an hour drive to Cork and less to Waterford. We will definately be back again in the near future.

Eamon's house was in a fantastic location for exploring what Dunmore East and Waterford have to offer, only a few minutes walk to the local beach, shops an eateries. The house itself is clean, modern and well equipped and maintained. Eamon met us on arrival and took the time to show us around. He advised us on what the the local area had to offer including places to eat. We had a great week and would recommend this house to anyone considering a stay in Dunmore East.

Excellent location,. Within walking distance of everything the city has to offer. Quiet and lots of parking. Very clean,. Very easy host to deal with. House has everything you need. Would highly recommend.

A property that didn't disappoint in any way. Greeted on arrival and everything you seen in pictures matched our expectation. Location is top drawer and this property gives you all the space you will need we absolutely loved it, thank you 🙏

Booked this property as it was central for our golfing at “Gold Coast Triangle” Homely, spacious property with parking in a great location, within walking distance to town. Mairead was very helpful with instructions and check in and kept in touch during our stay.

Wir waren zwei Wochen bei Sam und ihrer Mutter zu Gast. Mit dabei war unser kleiner Sohn. Vielen Dank für den tollen Geschenkkorb, der auch unseren Kleinen bedachte! Das Haus ist super geeignet für einen längeren Aufenthalt, es ist wirklich alles da, was man braucht. Das Haus ist sehr großzügig und selbst mit zwei Familien sollte man gut unterkommen. Vor Ort ist ein kleiner Spielplatz, den wir auch gern genutzt haben. Ein Highlight war der Kamin, dieser hat alles nochmal gemütlicher gemacht. Auch die anderen Leute sind super nett und haben uns Hilfe angebotenen, falls notwendig. In direkter Nähe ist ein schöner Strand, der sehr kinderfreundlich ist. Insgesamt kann man in der Gegend viele tolle Ausflüge machen, man benötigt aber für alles ein Auto. Der Südosten Irlands ist wirklich toll und auch nicht sonderlich überlaufen. Ich würde jederzeit wieder herkommen. Wir alle haben uns richtig wohl gefühlt und werden das schöne Haus und seine Umgebung vermissen. Bis zum nächsten Mal!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay Ian’s place was extremely comfortable, very clean and quiet. Very thoughtfully kitted out. Good value for money. Would definitely recommend.

Great place to stay short term. Close to the city centre and shops.

We had a lovely stay in Junes house. Nice location by the sea with a park right opposite the house. She provided us with a cot and high chair for our baby. Great view of the sea and mountains. A comfortable little patio in the back with small seating and inside there is everything we need. There is a SuperValu in a short walking distance so you can get all your food there. No problems whatsoever - we’d definitely go back there if we were in the area.

Catalinas accommodation was an amazing stay, she even went out of her way to get a travel cot for our daughter. Had everything you need for a break away, very peaceful and so close to restaurants, pubs, green way and also walkable distance to Cove beach and short drive to Clonea beach.

Absolutely perfect stay! This Airbnb in Dungarvan was everything we needed for a family getaway. It was spotlessly clean, very spacious, and had plenty of room for everyone to feel comfortable. The location is fantastic — just a short walk to all the local hotspots and the sea. One of our favorite spots was Merry’s Restaurant and Bar, just around the corner, which we ended up visiting more than once! The free gated parking was a great bonus and made everything so easy. Highly recommended for families visiting the area!

We had a fantastic stay in Mary's place with our children. The house was clean, comfortable and had every possible piece of equipment you could ask for in the kitchen. It felt like a home away from home. Mary had left some treats for the kids and some biscuits as well as milk and condiments. The house is about 2 minutes from the centre of town by car and the frot of the house looks out onto the bay. When we arrived an open fire was ready for us to light when we needed it. Mary was so helpful and lovely and a perfect host. We would love to visit again in the future.
