The cabin property is bordered on the front with the Pine Creek Rails to Trail. On the back there is easy access to the Pine creek for kayaking, inner tubing, swimming, etc. This is an old cabin with lots of wildlife, insects and a small indoor shower in the bathroom. It is not luxurious, modern, or trendy. We have used it as a hunting cabin and a retreat from the fast pace of the world. You will want to bring regular size sheets, towels, toiletries, etc. Pets not permitted.

Our family traveled to Lock Haven to stay for the weekend while my son had a baseball tournament at Lock Haven University. We found Sarah's place at a great price for two nights and was the perfect size for my husband and I, with our four children. The place was so cute and made you feel at home right when you walked in. In the living room there was a mini fridge to store your drinks/snacks, a fully stocked coffee bar, and snacks to choose from. There were also board games to play, puzzles, coloring books with crayons, and a little play area in the kid's bedroom. We really enjoyed playing Yahtzee both nights! The bathroom was stocked with towels and washcloths, and there were cleaning supplies available if needed. Sarah was very responsive if I had any questions and gave recommendations on things to do in town and restaurants to go to. All in all, we really enjoyed this trip and would recommend Sarah's place to anyone if you ever plan to visit little old Lock Haven!

Creek Front/Rail Trail - Pine Creek Manor House

My extended family and I had the pleasure to spend several days at James' house along Pine Creek. The house is situated right along Pine Creek with easy access to the water and lovely outdoor spaces - including a large patio with a firepit and a wrap-around porch. James' has an array of bicycles of various sizes available for use on the Pine Creek Rail Trail, as well as kayaks and canoes available for use on the creek. The interior of the house is spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is very large, looks out on Pine Creek, and had more than enough cooking equipment (including a double oven!) for our large family. The bedrooms were very comfortable, and the bathrooms were very clean. There was plenty of towels and linens and there were washer and dryers available. Overall, the entire family was thrilled with the house and enjoyed each day we had there!

From the moment I booked Patricia’s place it was amazing. She was great at communicating, flexible with us checking in early, and made us feel very welcomed. The pictures of her place don’t give you the feeling of spending time here, it’s a magical place. Quiet, peaceful, and tranquil. Torbert village is the best location on pine creek, and her house location is arguably the best located house in the village. I highly recommend her place to anyone. Planning to stay her next summer. Thank you so much Patricia, your house is a gem.

Nikki and Jeremey are just wonderful host!! This was our 2nd return at their property and we’re already looking forward to our third for the year. There property is so wonderful and it’s like a second home to us. Wonderful and peaceful. Clean to max. Everything you need and if you forget anything 15 min drive to the local Walmart. This is a great place to stay in Lock Haven. It was very comfortable for three adult couples despite the kids room with bunk beds 😊. The small patio space was an added bonus for relaxing in the evening. Zachariah was very responsive when I had a question and we will definitely look to book his home the next time we are in town!! Thanks so much!
