House holiday rentals in Weddington

This was our first experience at an Airbnb. The host was very responsive, the house was clean, and the backyard with the pool was absolutely relaxing and amazing. This will be our location of choice when we return to Charlotte to visit family.

My family and I loved our stay at Erin's place. The house was nice and had a big fenced in backyard which was great for our dog. Erin was very responsive and gave clear instructions for check-in and check-out. The area is great and just a few minutes down the street from downtown Matthews. I highly recommend Erin's home to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area!

Great place exactly as advertised. Plenty of space and a great environment for a quiet gathering of friends.

We had the best time! Amazing house and host. The heated pool and fenced in backyard were perfect for enjoying family time. The entire house was very clean and organized with everything we needed. The host was extremely proactive with communications and responsive for the few things we needed. Highly recommended!

Patrick was a wonderful host! Very responsive whenever we had a question or need. The location was perfect for a family vacation, readily accommodating seven adults and four grandkids, ages 1 to 8. Fabulous views of the lake from the house and pool deck. Our grandkids caught many fish from the dock, including a couple of nice catfish. The kayaks were easy to launch and retrieve, and our 22 foot boat fit nicely alongside the outer dock. Five stars in all regards!

5 of us stayed here for an extended family wedding. We primped and prepped and had plenty of room for that. Two of the upstairs bedrooms were smaller than I expected. The sheets, pillows, and towels were soft and clean. The beds were comfortable. There were lots of shampoo, soap and toilet paper. The common rooms were large and comfortable. The kitchen had every tool I needed. The screened in porch got a lot of use. Everyone walked around the lake and grabbed some food in Pineville. Julie was very responsive when we had questions.

Rob and Heather’s home in Pineville was the perfect place for us to stay while visiting family who lived nearby. The home was well decorated and very, very clean. Every bedroom had a comfy bed, blackout curtains, and a noise machine, so we all got really great sleep! Rob and Heather were incredible hosts and proactive and responsive communicators. We will definitely be staying again the next time we’re in town!

Ammie’s place was beautifully decorated, very clean, quiet, and thoughtfully well equipped. It was a wonderful overnight visit and would be great for an extended stay. He also offered us early check-in if we were in the area. We would definitely return.

Super spacious and clean. Very nice neighborhood. It is on the main road but none of us had issues with the noise. Close to all the stores, restaurants and bars you could need/want. Downtown Matthews is such a cute place. About a half hour from the airport and downtown Charlotte. The back patio was amazing, that is where we spent a majority of our time watching TV and hanging out. We loved the fenced in yard, and it does have wire fencing over it so your pets can’t get out. There was not a grill but we purchased a cheap charcoal grill to use. The house had all the dishes you could need. The lighting in the kitchen is pretty dim but during the day all the natural light comes in, nighttime is when it’s most noticeable. I highly recommend booking this house, we really enjoyed our stay and Josh was quick to respond to any questions we had.

Our stay was wonderful!! The house was big enough for our family(plus fur child) daughter's family,and my mom. Loved the big kitchen, all the bedrooms, bathrooms, pool table and fireplace. It was nice having a carport to be able to unload our groceries since a pop-up thunderstorm decided to happen when we went to grocery store. We came for the Metallica concert- but hoping to be able to come again and visit some more of surrounding areas of Charlotte- and would love to stay again at the Wesley House!! (Son loved Wesley in the backyard)

Stephanie’s place was extremely clean and comfortable. I wish we had stayed longer to enjoy the beautiful property.

Very comfortable home in an older, safe neighborhood. We stayed with our two children and felt right at home. The kitchen was clean and had everything we needed to make a meal (basic seasonings, oil, coffee, soap). The laundry was great, new machines, supplies available. It was the perfect spot for us to stay for the week.

We stayed here for a weekend for my son soccer tournament! Fields were 7 mins away! Everythings is close to it! Comfortable just what we needed! Tamara was a great host!

This was my first stay since joining the app and the place was exactly what I was looking for and would go back again. Very spacious, private, plenty of parking and very clean.

6 of us stayed here to celebrate my broth-in law’s 60’s birthday. It was perfect! We really enjoyed the location, the interior, and the beautiful exterior space. Had fun renting the pontoon boat for an afternoon, used kayaks, played arcade, ping pong and had a big BBQ on the expansive deck. Highly recommend!

Stephen’s home was beautiful well kept and very clean. Conveniently located in the area. Very quiet and peaceful. Yard and sunroom are fantastic features.

Kate's is such a wonderful and kind host, so thoughtful and considerate. We were dealing with the passing of a very well loved family member and needed to all be together during this tough time. Kate's warm welcome and detailed, thoughtful instructions made our stay in her house so comforting. Upstairs bedrooms included the beautiful master suite, elegant bathroom and a bonus room with childrens toys and games. The main level included another bedroom and bathroom, so appreciated after long days of travel. Great, fully equipped spotlessly clean kitchen, stocked for guests with K cups & ground coffee. Kate also had a collection of toys and games for kids, toddlers and even babies in the under-the-stairs closet. But sadly we were so busy I missed seeing them until after the baby, five year old and their mamas and daddies went home. The house has a lovely backyard, lots of outdoor seating. Blooming red azaleas when were there made for beautiful family photos. Great park, short walk away.

The location was great. Very walkable to restaurants and bars. Also downtown parks and playground are great for the kids

Brandon’s place in Monroe was just what my family needed for a visit. The place was well laid out and furnished, and the location was easy for us to navigate from and to while we were in town. It had a nice yard for our pup to run around too!

Amy was an excellent host. She had the place fully stocked with little snacks, coffee pods, shampoo/soap, hair dryer, even poop bags for our pups. We loved the little things she provided like charging cords, extra towels, blankets and the beds & linens were really comfy. The house is walkable to Waxhaw Downtown Park where we took the kids to play. We were also able to walk to downtown restaurants for brunch. The house is one of the cleanest I’ve stayed in and a huge plus it’s pet friendly. We were in town for a graduation and would definitely stay here again.

Mary went above and beyond to make us feel at ease staying at her house. She was thoughtful, kind, accommodating and very responsive. We were in Charlotte for our grandson's graduation from high school. Her home is beautiful and peaceful. We were truly blessed!
