Having the use of a boat was awesome, and the lake was great for fishing. Very good sound proofing between the duplexes. Never heard the neighbors once!

The HOUSE SHARED bathroom has it's own side entrance, across from the Cabin. There is a SUMMER SHARED porta-potty and proper shower, right close by, as well. WINTER GUESTS, please note...DON'T come down the driveway without PROPER WINTER tires! Leave your car at the turnaround and I'll gladly shuttle you and your gear.

Just a short drive from Traverse City, Frankfort, beautiful beaches and Sleeping Bear Dunes. This is a prime location for many activities such as fishing, golfing, skiing, hiking etc. Located on a rural dirt road that dead ends into state land with ORV trails that are snowmobile trails in winter (trail 3). Horseshoe driveway makes it convenient for trailer access.

I am the “River Rock Cabin". I sit atop the banks of the Betsie River, a few miles from Crystal Mountain. Some of my features are my kitchen, wood floors and log furniture. My unique finishes include my stair rail, my fish, and my river rock kitchen back splash hence my name. If you stay with me, I have 5 beds, cable tv and Wi-Fi. My outdoor amenities include a fire pit, picnic table, chairs and a grill. You can access the river from my doorstep, however, please do this at your own risk.

The stay at Lori & Peter's Interlochen cottage was fabulous--from the moment of booking through follow up as I was leaving they were responsive and helpful; no question was too small. The place was just as pictured: quiet, secluded, yet close to everything I needed or wanted, well furnished and appointed, comfortable beds, charming kitchen dishes, wonderful area. It was absolutely perfect.

We have stayed at many rentals and this was by far one of the better ones. Friendly and responsive host, very clean, well equipped kitchen. This was a family ski weekend rental and it held all 10 of us perfectly. Was easy walk back and forth from skiing. Cozy fireplace. Would definitely rent again. It is a true gem!

We rented Ken and Jen's place for a ski trip to Crystal Mountain with our two sons, and it was a great experience. It only took us about three minutes to get to the slopes. The house was very clean and well stocked. The rooms were spacious and the living area and kitchen were well laid out and nicely decorated. No complaints at all. We will plan to stay there again!

River Watch at Roaring Brook

The host did a lovely job renovating this original cabin in the North woods. The cabin is well done with top of the line finishes and smells brand new! The bed is extremely comfortable and the linens were that of a 5 star resort. The owners truly out did themselves and made this cabin into a supreme retreat. The translucent running river adds the most relaxing sounds to the time spent outside or down on the deck. This place is truly a special getaway that was more than relaxing and rejuvenating for myself and dogs. I would highly recommend if you’re looking for peace and solitude in the North woods.
