House holiday rentals in Wells

This was our second time staying at Ned‘s place. Just as Beautiful as it was several years ago. He keeps the property very well maintained and takes pride in making sure we are comfortable and have everything we need for a pleasant stay. Felt right at home!!

This was the perfect home base for exploring various parts of the Maine coast. Beds were comfy, and each room had a wall unit to make it the temperature you like. Our kids loved being upstairs in the 3 beds room and having their own space. WiFi worked great, and that was with 7 of us on it doing various things - adults working, kids streaming. Would definitely stay here again.

Susan was a truly wonderful host, so gracious, thoughtful and kind. Her home was perfect for my husband and 2 young boys. House was immaculately clean. Beds were super comfy, the 2nd floor rooms had plenty of space and my boys loved the bed nooks on the 3rd floor. We enjoyed the porch chairs at night. Beautiful beach was nearby, and Susan had all the beach items ready for us to enjoy. Lots of excellent dining options within a 5-10min drive and close to Ogunquit downtown. Susan left a book of local recommendations which included all the menus from local restaurants which we found helpful in deciding where to dine. Susan shared excellent recommendations on beaches and local activities and knows the area well. Location was perfect. We would love to come back, thank you so much Susan!

Angela’s place was wonderful! Very cozy, clean and comfortable, well stocked, close to downtown Portland. Snacks was a nice touch! Angela was very responsive. Hope to come back soon!

Kathi’s place was great! Super close to the Downtown Portland/Old Port area. Kathi was a great host, extremely responsive and genuinely nice, plus she even made my family and I some delicious blueberry muffins for our stay! Her instructions were clear and she made us feel right at home! Would definitely stay again whenever we’re in the area!

Beautiful home in a quiet, family-friendly community. We loved being able to walk up to the pool and play in the game room in the main clubhouse area. The house is a short drive to downtown Kennebunkport and local beaches. It is a quick 30 minute drive up to Portland. Our daughter loved sleeping in the private bedroom upstairs. The kitchen was fully stocked with appliances. The space was immaculate when we arrived. Steve was responsive to any needs we had during our stay. A great find!

We absolutely loved our stay at The Lazy Lobster! A beautiful home, clean, large & perfect for a big group. Andrew was wonderful. He was always responsive & helpful! Plus the location was fantastic. We walked to breakfast, shops, the beach, dinner & bars everyday with no issues. We will definitely be coming back!

We absolutely loved our stay! The home is gorgeous, light and airy, and so comfortable for our group! You can't beat the location across from the beach and quiet street for walking. The pool and hot tub were also so nice. We would highly recommend and would love to stay there again!

Great stay for a girls weekend, lots of room for Everyone to sleep. The bonus game room was a great second living room for afternoon tv relaxing! Backyard was great had a little fire. Walkable distance to beach and other activities.

Private location, but close to so much! The home is very well laid out and well equipped. Open living area with comfortable seating. There are games and puzzles and the kitchen is very well supplied. Everything was just as pictured. Would have loved to sit around the fire pit in the evenings, but we had rainy weather. We brought some firewood, but they have a bunch there. The front porch was nice. We had a little sun during the day and sat out to read and saw what we thought were gophers in the field. Very peaceful setting. We stayed three nights and we had everything we needed with the starter stuff (tp, paper towels, shampoo, soap, etc.). Felt very homey. Could walk to a few restaurants, although we didn't due to rain. I did walk to the chocolate shop when the sun came out. : ) We would definitely stay again.

Enjoyed our stay at the house. Able to walk to the beach and to the downtown area easily. Peter was very communicative and responsive and was a great host. We'd stay there again!

Jim’s place in South Berwick was a wonderful place to stay during our visit to New Hampshire and Maine. The home had lots of great rustic charm, the kitchen was well stocked with cookware and utensils, and the space was comfortable for the five of us visiting. We enjoyed the peaceful street, the view of the meadow behind the home and the local farm stand only quick drive down the road. Jim was a great host and attentive to our needs. We would be happy to recommend his home and would definitely stay again if in the area again.

My stay at the Sandpiper was wonderful! Check in was easy and the unit was spotless and well-equipped with nice bed linens and towels. The Sandpiper is centrally located and walkable, being only an easy 0.8 of a mile from Dock Square (connected by sidewalks for the entire walk). When I had a question about the heating system, Nicole and Rob responded quickly and were very helpful. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay at the Sandpiper next time I am visiting Kennebunkport!

Dan’s cottage was in a perfect and convenient location. It was private and right next to a lovely creek. Plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the outdoors. Inside the cottage was very well laid out with comfortable and clean furniture and well stocked and spotless kitchen and bathroom. Had everything we needed for our stay. The heat worked quickly and well for the cool nights. Would love to stay again when we return.

My family and I had a serene experience staying here. Although the weather was mostly rainy or cloudy, we loved the lake location and maximized the indoor, outdoor, and nearby activity options. The hosts were so responsive, regardless of the question, and made this a truly delightful visit. This was my parents’ first Airbnb experience and it set the bar higher than I could have imagined! My family and I are already talking about coming back!!

The house was in the perfect location for walking to shops and restaurants. It had a great outdoor space. My husband and I enjoyed playing games Cyndi had in the house. Very clean and comfortable with great amenities. We wish we could stay longer! We will definitely be back.

My Mom & I had a great stay here with my pup. It was the perfect location for us! Beautiful views of the salt marsh and 1 minute drive to Wells Beach. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed, more than enough space for the two of us and the pup. We appreciated the first floor full bathroom too! We would stay here again for sure!

The hosts were fast to respond and provided great recommendations. The cottage is quaint and cute, the location and view were unbeatable. The road is steps from the cottage, so expect to hear some traffic. I’m a light sleeper so that posed a bit of challenge for me (though not my husband and kids) - however there was a sound machine on sight to save the day (or should I say night). Enjoyed our stay!

Excellent experience from booking to check out. Kara was extremely responsive and easy to communicate with. The location was perfect and the house was extremely clean. The hot tub was a nice touch for the end of the day relaxation. Thanks for a great stay!

We had a great stay in Tara's home. It is located in a quiet neighborhood and is close to our favorite towns- Ogunquit and Kennebunkport. We had plenty of room for the four of us. We loved the outside spaces and the open floor plan. Tara was very easy to communicate with and very responsive. The instructions for check in and check out were very clear. We hope to return in the future!

We had a fantastic week-long stay at Heidi's home. She was an exemplary host from the beginning to the very end -- always responsive, flexible, and very helpful. She knew we were going to be arriving at nighttime, and that there would be construction going on nearby with exit closures. She took time to provide detailed instructions on how to get around those closures which alternated between two exists every night from 7pm-7am. This is their real home, so when you enter, you feel like you have entered your home away from home. Everything in the house is not just clean, but spotless. The beds were comfortable and the surroundings are just gorgeous -- especially the sunroom, which is like something out of a dream. We even saw some wild turkeys at a distance in the backyard! Of all the Airbnbs we have stayed at, this was by far the nicest and the most memorable. Thanks so much, Heidi and Dennis.

It was a great location for a quick getaway. Close to Portland and plenty of places to eat in town. I only met Clarishell but she was lovely!
