Closest Studio Nest to the Staubbach waterfall

The nest located within Chalet Staubbach is adjacent to the famous Staubbach waterfall. The stream from the waterfall runs through the properties garden. The nest is a perfect base for skiing/sledging/hiking in the winter and for hiking, mountain biking and generally exploring the area in the summer. The nest is a leisurely 40 minute walk from the amazing Trummelbach falls. Also being 50m from Camping Jungfrau means there is a shop, bar and restaurant next door offering takeaway or eat in.

Cozy Alpine living

Our stay this summer with Roland and Martina was magical! 5 days of pure bliss, adventure, and zero stress! They ordered us a taxi from the train station; greeted us at the door for key drop off and had some refreshments waiting after our journey, which was so kind. During our stay they were available as little or as much as we needed them. They had drinks in their fountain outside for us everyday. They even did our laundry for us during our stay and let us borrow some pizza sauce that we forgot after the store closed. Lastly during the summer season they had bikes available for us to use to get into town easier and I can’t thank them enough for how much time this helped us save. All in all the location + money is incredibly worth it and in my opinion with the service and friendliness you cannot beat this stay with Martina and Roland! We cannot wait to come back and next time for longer!

The studio was exactly as advertised. The location is convenient and directions from the train station very clear. We had a great stay and highly recommend Annette and Luke as hosts. Communication was great, and they went above and beyond to mail us a forgotten item. Great location, great studio, great hosts!

Enjoyed our stay so much! The hotel was easy to find, and placed perfectly with a great view of the Alps. Front desk had loads of information about what activities to do and discounts we would we able to have staying at this place. Overall would definitely stay here again!

This is a great place to stay. It is very peaceful and lots of hikes and beautiful waterfalls to see. If you want to go to lautetbrunnen or jungfraujoch, trains are easily available. The hostel has nice kitchen with well equipped utensils. Host is really nice, I did not have charger for my phone and they gave me for 2 days. All in all, great airbnb. Only downside is that it is 22 mins by walk from wengen station, and is not easy if you are not used to do it. There is taxi service but they charge 20-25 chf per trip

We absolutely loved our stay in Wengen at this Airbnb, it wasn’t too hard to find- and the views were just incredible. The hosts were extremely responsive and communicative through everything. The space was clean and exactly as described. I would definitely stay here again!!!

We were skeptical at first because there is very few review of the place but when we got there we were blown away! The place is so beautiful and HUGE for two people. The view is breathtaking and is very close to grocery and station. I can compare the place to an expensive hotel suite! Place looks and feel brand new and all the things that you need is there, cooking , utensils etc. If I could give this 100 stars I would. Thank you!

Lovely place to stay in Wengen. Alex’s place is spacious, clean and has everything needed for an easy stay. The patio views are unbeatable, and the kitchen is well-stocked for cooking. As others have said, very steep hills to climb for the walk back up to the main area of town, but that’s how it is in all the mountain towns. For reference, with 2 large suitcases and backpacks, walk downhill from the train station took 10 minutes, and uphill to train took 14 minutes. You can also take a taxi if you don’t want to make the walk with luggage.
