Completely off grid and wild. The Silent Haven was exactly that, a perfect oasis in the centre of beautiful woodlands, with bird song waking us gently, fresh spring water on tap and just enough modern conveniences to feel at home, warm, comfortable and relaxed. Glamping it was not but, unforgettable, wild, free and completely secluded, it had it in spades! The tree house feel of our ladder ascent into bed at night was one of our favourite bits. We loved exploring Dartmoor National Park and Roadford Lake Activites Centre from our cabin in the woods. Plenty to do around but coming back to our little base was honestly our favourite part. 100% the perfect place for a totally natural, back to the roots, mindful trip ❤️

We booked the lodge for my mums 50th birthday treat away with family. It was the perfect home away from home, so cosy and peaceful. Close by to beaches, woodland walks and amenities. We took our 3 dogs and were greeted by even a little treat packet for them along with some fresh scones! Both hosts were responsive to all questions. 100% would recommend and will be back❤️

Susan and Steven’s place was excellent and all as described and better. Right in the middle of the country side with only noise from farm animals around . Susan and Steven very welcoming with a bottle of cava and fresh milk in the fridge. Full marks from us . Madeleine and Dirk

Very lovely place, me and my girlfriend stayed here for a weekend and had no complaints. The host responded quickly and the property looked exactly like the photos. All the extra little touches like the fire wood, slippers, eggs and etc really made us feel welcome. Overall we really enjoyed our stayed and would happily stay here again.
