Holiday rentals with lake access in West Coast District Municipality

Absolutely beautiful property; if anything the pictures cannot do justice to the panorama of the lake and surrounding hills. We were lucky with the weather and the place has everything that you need! Tim was also and hand to help out with the hot tub etc. Simply superb!

De locatie van het verblijf is super, je loopt vanuit de tuin zo het strand op. Daarnaast zijn alle winkels en restaurants op loopafstand. De communicatie met Alison is ook erg prettig. Langebaan en de woning van Alison hebben ons positief verrast en we komen zeker terug.

We had a wonderful stay in the old farm house and really enjoyed exploring the surroundings of the farm, hiking and taking the kayaks out on the lake. The dogs were als so sweet and friendly and the entire vibe at the farm is so relaxed and peaceful.

We had an absolutely awesome stay at Las Piedras! Everything was top class — from the beautiful, spotless property to the incredible attention to detail. Coreen was a top-class host: welcoming, professional, and made sure everything was perfect for us. The location is magical — right on the border of the nature reserve park. Waking up every morning to the sounds of birds tweeting was just incredible. It was peaceful, relaxing, and felt like a true escape into nature. Fantastic stay all around. Highly recommended! Magical place. Great location and a dream for the kids being so close to the water. House has everything you need and layout works great if you have kids and friends over. We will be visiting this spot very soon again..and regularly!

Erna's listing of Heron's Place is an absolute must to try. Our stay was just too short. We arranged a boat cruise on the river and because of the private jetty, they were able to pick us up at our doorstep and drop us off there again. The area is beautifully quiet and on the river. I would recommend it.

Such a sweet spot nestled in the beautiful landscape of Rock lands. Lefras (and his doggo) we're the nicest hosts, very helpful and friendly and the house is full of charm. Sad we didn't get to stay there longer.

Es war alles super, auch sehr gut dass wir trotz Loadshedding immer in der Wohnung Licht hatten. Viel Platz zum Wäsche/Neopren auf zu hängen und genug Platz für die Kite Ausrüstung! Maddy war immer erreichbar, sehr nett und sympathisch.

Absolut empfehlenswert – ein perfekter Aufenthalt in Langebaan! Wir hatten eine wundervolle Zeit in dieser Unterkunft und können sie nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen! Die Gastgeberin Linette ist sehr herzlich und zuvorkommend, und Vusi ist immer vor Ort, falls man Hilfe benötigt – ein wirklich tolles Team! Das Haus liegt fast direkt am kleinen privaten Strand, in einer ruhigen und sicheren Nachbarschaft. Die Lage ist ideal: Man kann schnell mit dem Auto überall hinkommen, und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind auch in der Nähe. Die Unterkunft selbst ist sauber, gemütlich und bietet genug Platz für eine kleine Familie. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und hatten alles, was wir brauchten. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen und diese Unterkunft jedem empfehlen, der einen entspannten und erholsamen Urlaub in Langebaan sucht. Vielen Dank, Linette und Vusi, für den tollen Aufenthalt.

We had a fantastic time in Port Owen. The accommodation was great and in close walking distance to the restaurant. Fantastic access to the jetty and river system if you have a boat.

Great view of the boats from the balcony, very tidy and luxurious apartment. Check-in was straight forward and Susan was very responsive and nice. One consideration is that the production of dried fish, bokkom, might smell sometimes if the wind is blowing in the wrong direction.

Very nicely settled on a working farm - the daytime view is amazing and sunset is always great when mountain ranges are involved. The apartment (which is bigger than some houses in the U.K.) had everything you needed for a long or a short stay and the braai wood was exceptionally dry (which makes catering for a family of 5 a breeze). Swimming pool warm by Ceres standards and fairly large, with some shade from the 40 degree heat we had upon our arrival. As it’s self-catering, get your provisions before check-in, because once you’re there, you don’t really want to leave again. All in all a great place and it is child-friendly (i.e. not much stuff for a bunch of boys to get stuck into when things get quiet). Thank you for the stay.

From the moment we arrived we felt right at home. The signage welcoming our family, some snacks for our toddler and a beautiful bottle of Chenin, we truly appreciated these small touches. The house is an old farm house, very rustic, but clean and has all the amenities needed to enjoy an extended stay including dishwasher which is bliss on a holiday. It was very child friendly with a jungle gym in front of the house and a small kids bench table, which only a parent will understand is something that is a game changer for parenting on holiday. Very homey and would definitely go back. Phone signal is not great but we saw this as a positive with time to switch off and recharge. Thank you for welcoming us on your farm Theresa.

Awesome place to stay. Very friendly people especially Sunny and Chilla for their professionality.Helped us alot during our stay. Neat and tidy, cozy and quiet, just what we needed. Will definitely book again. Will recommend this place to everyone. Thank you Morne your place is the best.

A breath of fresh air. Such a comfy and wonderfully private location. Everything you might need is there. Host Holly is very responsive and very helpful. We loved our stay and will definitely be back!

All good, Lauren was very welcoming and the place was cozy. There is a well stocked pantry for very fair prices. All farm animals were very friendly. Only small critique maybe is that there is no Wifi at the Cabin, so you have to walk 200m to the Farm house, which is a bit unfortunate - but working there is very nice and pleasant.

Beautiful cottage - doesn't get closer to the beach. nicely away from the town, but still close enough to go for supplies if you want to. Dream get away.

Great little cottage in the bush with a small creek at the front. Very comfortable beds and host was easy to communicate with.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We were a bit surprised by the 10km stretch of public dirt road leading to the farm — we had expected only a few kilometers of gravel once on the property — but it was still perfectly manageable with a sedan. The thoughtful touches on arrival really made us feel welcome: a chilled G&T, the hot tub already heated, and a freshly baked loaf of bread waiting for us. The game drive the next day was a highlight. Uncle Steve shared many fascinating, history-rich spots with us, making the experience both educational and memorable. Next time (when not pregnant!), we’ll definitely take advantage of the kayaking — the lakes are absolutely beautiful — and we’d love to stay longer, as the game drive takes up most of the day. Highly recommended!

An absolute gem. I have not experienced heat like that, but our private plunge pool and the farm dam were an absolute dream. We had such a wonderful time taking in the beautiful views and incredible stars.
