The Garden Rooms sit in the grounds of Downside House and holds a 4*Gold Visit England Award. Located within easy reach of Bath, Bristol and Wells. Located in part of our riverside property on a quiet street, this new light & airy guest suite is ideal for short stays, visits to Exeter Uni, weekends watching Exeter Chiefs, enjoying walking and cycling the South West Coastal Path. Parking is on the driveway if requested. It’s a 5-10 minute walk to the town with all the cafes, pubs and restaurants. We’re 10 minutes walk to Topsham train station and a few minutes to the nearest bus stop, providing access to Exeter, Exmouth and beyond.

A newly built, light and airy detached en-suite room above a double garage, with its own private entrance, in the grounds of our period thatched cottage. In a charming village, and our own one acre mature garden, the room has its own private elevated deck with a table and chairs. There is also access to the garden and other seating areas and summer house. There is a super delicatessen close by. There are 2 pubs approx 10 min walk, and another in next village about 2 miles away.
