Fitness-friendly holiday rentals in West Haven

I and my son feel very happy and comfortable living there, although the elevator doesn't work, it seems always under fixing. After all, the location is so convenient to everywhere, for example, SOM, Peabody Museum, and Hillhouse Ave. Almost all Yale shuttle lines stopped there. It is a happy time to eat while watching TV news in the living room. The scenery from top of the building is beautiful. We saw the sunrise and snowy town. That is amazing! The neighbors are very friendly. Guest in No. 34 helped us on carrying the luggages. He has a dog with three legs. What a nice and kind young man! In the basement, there is a gym and guests-room with sofas. G cafe closes after 5pm. My friends and I had a talk there which is nice. The Nica's is nearby as well which is very convenient. With Grocery line, we shop at Trade Joe's on weekend to save money. There is a big refrigerator to save food for one week. The door has an electronic lock which is very smart and easy to use. Good to stay!

Great location - Next door to Yale Old Campus. Caleaha was responsive. Apartment was clean and as described. It would be perfect if shampoo were provided.

I had a comfortable stay at Aziz’s place. He was communicative throughout the process and check-in was easy. The bed was also very comfortable. The only negative is that I couldn’t find a thermostat to control the temperature, and it got pretty chilly overnight. Overall, a good option in New Haven.

We really enjoyed staying at Kyle's Air BnB! The building was easy to find, and it was easy to locate the keys and get inside the apartment. The neighborhood has a lot of great restaurants and is very much within walking distance to the main Yale campus. The apartment was clean, cozy, and had all the amenities we needed (microwave, fridge, etc.). The bed was VERY comfortable. We appreciated the option to check in 3 hours earlier for a small fee. Would stay here again!

Peter is a super friendly host. He provided lots of local recommendations and easy-to-follow house rules. The location is pretty good with walkable distance to the beach. Would recommend for a two person trip.

Ricardo has a clean and comfortable space. Perfect for a quick stop in Southern CT. Its in an industrial residential neighborhood with not too much in its immediate vicinity, but located in a convenient spot to be able to reach many different areas of CT with ease. Recommeded for a single traveller or couple. Thank you Ricardo.

Everything was super easy and great! The apartment was tidy and cheerful and had all the basics you would need for your stay—everything was just right! It was easy to get in, and all Jarrett’s instructions were super clear, about entry and about parking, neighborhood, etc. would definitely stay here again!!

Enjoyed our stay in the woods with a beautiful view of the river. Easy to get to and very close to the charming town of New Milford and many good restaurants. Although right off a busy road it was quiet inside the house. The great room, which is on the top floor, is wonderful and perfect for both working and entertaining and has a full bath. It looks like the photos with an amazing view. The bedrooms and another bath are underneath. The master bedroom is the best. Just be aware you can hear the footsteps from above and not all of the bedroom windows have bug screens. The entertainment room on the lower level which opens into the yard is filled with games and a large tv and was lots of fun. The weather was cool & rainy so we didn’t use the outdoor space as much as we thought we would but there was a kayak. The house was private and although there is no interior deadbolt we felt safe. The house was clean with good heat/ac and wi fi. Hosts were responsive.

If you’re looking for tranquility, stop right here! Beautiful home in a beautiful setting. Great kitchen with all the amenities for cooking. Big deck overlooking a gorgeous pool with grill and seating for meals. The pool area has plenty of chaise chairs for lounging and afternoon naps! We had a family gathering and had plenty of space!

Jan's house was a great stay with plenty of room for six adults. We loved the game room and outdoor hot tub. Instructions for the hot tub were clear and easy to follow. We'd definitely stay again!

This house was excellent for a larger group, with plenty of space and amenities. We only stayed 2 nights and definitely wanted to stay longer. Would definitely recommend.

This is my favorite AirBnB in Connecticut. Gabe and Mary were great! We come twice a year and hope to make this our regular second home. The house is ideal for small kids and the cul-de sac has kids of all ages. It is a real functioning home, not a model. Terrific kitchen with a beautiful view. Great for work at home. Everything appeared updated and operated properly. Tall order for an old house. It is secluded between 2 ponds and surrounded by woods but a short walk to everything in Hamden. I'll be sorry when their son starts school and they occupy the house more of the time.

Enjoyed spending a long weekend at Rockson's listing. We enjoyed all the spaces to lounge as well as some of the games like the pool table and karaoke machine. I was also pleasantly surprised how easy it was to drive to both New Haven and Greenwich for day trips.

Great place. Really comfortable. Very quiet and peaceful. Beds were comfortable. Good water pressure for showers. Hot tub was lovely. It was perfect for our needs.

We live in the neighborhood of Liz’s house and held a 3 day reunion of 17 old friends staying both in her place and ours. Yes, it’s even better than the pictures! Lots of large, spacious rooms for gathering, wonderful outdoor pool with tons of seating, exceptional kitchen where of course everyone tended to congregate. Am already thinking about a future large family gathering. Liz was a gracious, helpful and generous host. We can testify from long experience living a few houses away that the neighborhood, beaches and sound make a wonderful setting for a gathering. Very appreciative that Liz and family share their house with others this way.
