Beachfront holiday rental in West Wittering

We had a great stay here walking a young puppy on the private beach. The surroundings are peaceful and there were plenty of friendly dogs to meet. Andrew and Kirsty were great hosts and quick to help us out when the shower needed a new washer.

Kay's apartment was absolutely superb for us and she was such a great host. She was able to provide a travel cot and high chair at the last minute as silly grandparents had forgotten to pack them. It was no problem for Kay and she'd got it in position by the time we arrived, for which we were all extremely grateful. The apartment is located in a great spot with direct views over the estuary and Arun yacht club and a 5 minute walk from the beach and high st! We were greeted with a lovely basket containing sourdough bread, homemade biscuits, milk, jam, marmalade as well as plenty of tea bags, coffee & sugar! All the beds were comfortable as was the sofa and easy chairs in the lounge/diner. We all would recommend the local fish & chip shop Osca's as the food there was fantastic!

Claire’s place was a perfect base for our stay in Southsea. We were visiting family and friends and didn’t run out of places to meet up. The flat had everything we needed, was clean and comfortable, and dog friendly The stairs to the apartment kept us active and the nearby common worked for the dog! Claire kindly left milk, bread, tissues and other bits which was helpful for the first night. Overall Claire and Andy were helpful without being intrusive, the apartment was lovely, and we enjoyed our stay very much. We would love to stay again should the opportunity arise.

Roxanne really is a 5 star host. she made our stay easy and stress free. really felt like a home from home! the kids had so much to entertain them and it was completely kitted out with everything we needed. the caravan is lovely and comfortable. if we ever need somewhere to stay in Portsmouth we will definitely be choosing Roxanne!

We absolutely loved our stay here. Place was so lovely and light inside with the views out to the sea. We were especially grateful to have a later check out to be able to stay longer and have more time in the area. Perfect place for family and dog!

I visited the Crab Shack for a long weekend with my Daughter (8) and our little dog... We had a wonderful time! The Crab Shack is a very comfortable place to stay, well located for a short walk into town, with all the amenities we needed. The shower and toilet facilities, a very short walk from the yurt, were impeccably clean and the water runs fast and hot in the showers. The local independent pubs in town are friendly, serving good food and drink at a reasonable price, and we were lucky enough to find live music being performed each night. Would strongly recommend taking the short (20 minutes) drive to West Wittering Beach for a beautiful day out... Pizza from Pecorino in East Wittering was fabulous too.

Our stay at Salt Cabin was amazing. It’s perfect as a base to access a host of areas regardless of what you enjoy. It was perfect and secure for our sprocker who loved watching out to sea and the beach area. The cafe area in the marina was great and we can highly recommend the pizzas on a Friday. We ordered ours the day before and collected them at the arranged time. You can eat in too. The cabin has everything you need. It’s very quiet and relaxing. Definitely recommend

We had a great stay at Holly’s place! Location is lovely and peaceful with walks onto the beach straight from the door but walking distance into town and a short drive from lots of lovely nearby towns too. Holly was very responsive and helpful as we had to change dates late notice which was very much appreciated.

The property is absolutely immaculate. It is more spacious than the photos suggest. The beach is literally at the end of the drive. Such a convenient spot. And the beds!! Well, if you don’t sleep well here then you won’t sleep well anywhere. Great place. Great host. Great time.

It was everything we needed for a family break with kids. It was near Lidl and other useful shops. We didn't need to use the parks swimming pool because the beach was on the bus route and near by. Glynis was very helpful and friendly. Unlike other caravan holidays I've been on, this one was very generous in supplying towels, hand wash, loads of toilet roll and washing up liquid. Lots of board games for kids in drawers. Excellent.

A very convenient place for a short stay. Beautiful location, all beds are single which made it perfect for a bigger group of people. Very pleasant stay.

Stayed at Bembridge, was a really nice caravan with very comfortable double bed. The caravan was very clean and bright. Everything you could wish for in the Caravan. Steven was very proactive with the questions I asked, would recommend. We did not take the dogs in the end. Many Thanks

We had a great stay in Louisa’s caravan. The location was great, right next to the swimming pool, restaurants and beach. The place had all we needed for a great week away and the weather was great too! Day trip to the beach at West wittering was great.

We loved the apartment - it was spotless, spacious, and in the most gorgeous seafront location. Hosts had fab communication too. We love the area and will definitely visit again in the future ☺️

We really enjoyed our holiday at Whitecliff Bay Holiday Park. Rosie’s accommodation was excellent. It had everything it said it would. It was clean, well maintained and welcoming. Rosie advised on the local amenities and was extremely friendly to deal with. Would definitely stay there again.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Pebble Beach. The flat is comfortable and well laid out, with a cosy bedroom, clean bathroom, and a well-equipped kitchen. The private roof terrace with sea views was a real highlight, and being just steps from the beach made it a perfect spot to unwind. What meant the most to us was the host’s exceptional kindness — they went out of their way to extend our stay during a health issue, and we’re so grateful for their understanding and support. Selsey is a peaceful and charming seaside town, ideal for relaxing walks and quiet moments. While the property itself is simple, the beautiful location and the care shown by the host made our visit truly special. Thank you again for everything — your thoughtfulness made a big difference

Great location ideal for dogs as the house is straight on the beach. Dog friendly pub a stones throw away allocated parking spot round the back of house Thank you Claire!!

Lovely home with all the amenities, large kitchen with lots of storage, big main bathroom with a lovely bath. Great location the sea is literally across the road and the balcony is great for seeing out to the Isle of Wight and watching all the ships come and go and watching the sunsets.

Lovely little place for a small family …wanted some where close to the beach and couldn’t get closer if we tried .. only fault is there’s tea and coffee on arrival with suger in the cupboard we got there late so no shops open to make a drink so a little milk to go with the tea and coffee would of made it more out standing but Carl wasn’t to know we were gunna be late other then. It being able to make a tea after our long journey the accommodation was absolutely perfect for what we needed for the long wk end away if your a fan of the beach this place is perfect for you would 100 percent stay again ..

I have stayed in many Airbnb properties over the years, but this surpasses them all! The location on the beach, with facilities which lacked nothing, would top anyone's expectations. The décor was bright and fresh, suiting the house perfectly. This property is of the highest standard.

Great location which is at the end of harbour road and very peaceful. View is great and nature reserve is really pretty. All amenities were exactly as described. All the vintage games consoles et. Makes the place very unique and quirky. 1 minute walk to the beach which is also quite unique in the way it has been shaped by the sea. Shops 10 minutes walk. Pubs 20 minutes walk.

Very friendly hosts and a great value stay. Very short walk to seafront, and was clean and tidy. Would recommend!

We had a lovely few days on Hayling Island. The children loved exploring Hayling. We enjoyed riding the mini train and playing in the arcades. It was great having the beach on our door step, and we enjoyed playing on the beach and some "refreshing" dips in the sea. The accommodation worked perfectly. It was homely and felt very calm. The table tennis was an added bonus, and the girls spend hours on the table! Zoe was a lovely host, with lots of detailed information about the local area. I would definitely return.
