Beautiful, squeaky clean house in a beautiful setting, with a nice walk to the sandy beach through the woods. The only thing that could have been left was the sauna. Messaging was smooth and the stay was welcoming. Thanks for the flexible checkout as well.

We booked this place for our family: 2 adults in our 40s, 2 grandparents in their 70s, and 1 child. The two cabins comfortably fit us all. We really enjoyed staying here and having a taste of Finnish "mokki" life. The sauna worked well, and the lake was perfect for swimming. We also enjoyed the row boat and outdoor fire pit for making "makkara". Given climate change realities, the inclusion of an air conditioning unit in the main cabin was a big plus! I would stay here again, and recommend it to others.

Very nice cottage, the 7-person crew could accommodate well. Everything worked without a hitch: easy check-in, good kitchen utensils, nice sauna with two showers - and we were able to stay at the cottage for up to a few hours on the day of departure, thanks! Firewood in the shed as we kept the fire in the fireplace on the deck. The gas grill on the deck worked well. We especially liked the surroundings of the cottage: the beautiful pine cloth terrain inspired the walks, and we even went to the nearby pond to water the winter coats (lovely sandy beach)! Two kilometers away, you'll find the Sacrifice Fountain and the Cold Mill, beautiful natural sites where we took a little walk. Thanks to Tiina for a nice cottage weekend - here we'd love to come back!

Very pleasant and peaceful place. Despite the warnings, the mosquitoes weren't quite terribly, I think it should be in the woods:) The pond was a magical place to swim, quite clean water to salt.

Juha, is very flexible and friendly. Everything went as expected and the location very comfortable. The Sauna was fantastic and there were convenience stores close to the location.

A truly magical place, your own little universe. A quiet and peaceful place like this is not easy to come by these days, especially not with all the modern amenities that Pirjo's place offers. Private sauna, comfortable beds, a well-equipped kitchen, fast WiFi, near-total isolation with a town still in reach... I could go on. A true gem in the middle of the beautiful Finnish nature and without a doubt the best Airbnb I ever stayed at. Pirjo herself is an amazing host. Not only did she always reply quickly and very helpfully – she went out of her way multiple times to accommodate and go the extra mile for me, organizing helpful things for me that I didn't even ask her to. I am so grateful to Pirjo, whose hospitality has been the cherry on top of this amazing vacation-cake. Also the island's caretaker, Heikki, was super nice and helpful and I'm happy to have met him. Sadly I didn't meet Pirjo to thank her in person but I hope we will once I inevitably come back for another stay.

The cottage was great for my purpose. The instructions were clear and nicely in the cottage ready to welcome the guest. Communication was smooth. I recommend!

We found this house perfect for a "workation", as we enjoyed the beautiful lake and the garden, as well as the living room for working from our laptops. There's an amazing amount of natural light, the house has warm colors, and nice plants. We recommend trying the boat, it's very fun.

Juha was a fantastic host — warm, communicative, and thoughtful. The cottage was clean, cozy, and well-equipped, with a beautiful terrace and even a new TV. We especially appreciated the flexibility with check-in and check-out. Everything was exactly as described (if not better), and we felt very welcome.

The cottage was neat and there were nature trails nearby. The neighboring cottages were really close, so if you need privacy, it's not the best choice. There was a large group of people in the neighboring cottage celebrating Midsummer. Dog barking + music was heard inside the cottage in the evening but normally it certainly does not bother much.☺️ Cozy and more beds. Easy to find.

A stunningly beautiful place. An oasis of relaxation. The house is exceptionally beautifully located, very spacious and very comfortably furnished, both indoors and outdoors. We were five adults and delighted with the sparkling clean house, especially the bathroom with sauna and the hot pot. We would have liked to have stayed longer...

We had a wonderful stay at Katariina’s cabin with the private sauna. The peaceful, private setting in nature made it a perfect escape. The cabin was cozy and well-equipped, and the sauna was an amazing way to unwind. Katariina’s warm welcome and hospitality made the experience even more special—she was a truly great host. Nuuksio National Park is just minutes away and offers beautiful trails and scenery. It’s an ideal spot for anyone looking to relax and disconnect.
