Deer Valley cabin was every bit as charming as pictured—serene, picturesque, and peaceful. It was the perfect retreat and a great escape from the everyday hustle, while still offering all the modern comforts (including Wi-Fi). The location strikes a great balance—just a short drive to a convenience store and restaurants, yet far enough removed to truly feel like a vacation. Alecia was accommodating, welcoming, and responsive. We hope to come back!

We spent several lovely days at Amethyst Farm. Bernard was an excellent host, very communicative but still offering privacy. The space was clean, charming, and comfortable. I loved hanging out with the chickens, who were very chill and cute (and produced great eggs).

I’ve returned to the Vermont Botanical studio on an annual basis for several years, since I always find it peaceful and comfortable—off the beaten path, but not lonely. It has everything I need, including a dirt road through the fields for a daily walk, tall windows looking out on lovely trees, a very healthy songbird population, and a nearby farm store where I always go to buy cheese as soon as I arrive. I especially appreciate the comfortable bed, reading chair and couch, and the perfectly serviceable kitchen. The induction range makes for very quick cooking, and it’s nice to have the use of a full-sized fridge, too. For my writing retreats, the studio feels like a home away from home.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The place is incredible, you’ll have everything you’d need. Full of very thoughtful details. Very cozy, confortable and charming. The surroundings are beautiful and in a short drive you’d find anything you may need in Brattleboro. From dining to great coffee, groceries and more… I loved how simple and easy where the instructions for check-in and Out. Katherine was very friendly and responsive. Would definitely stay there again.

This was my second time staying here! Just like the first time, everything was very clean and had everything I needed. The location has an amazing view and is nice and quiet. Can’t wait to stay again in the future! Thank you Juliana and Paul!

I almost didn’t want to write a review so people don’t book this place…. But I definitely have to. It was such a blast. We collected eggs in the morning, we tried peacock eggs for breakfast. They had an amazing playground, and awesome cats and dogs running around the farm. The fact that we got the farm to ourselves after hours was so memorable. My first airbnb and probably will put other airbnbs expectations high.

Sarah’s farmhouse was just lovely. Such a peaceful, beautiful stay. The house was so charmingly decorated, you could tell the care that went into it! My mom and I immediately felt at home. I really appreciate how all the home necessities you need were there; extra blankets, iron, salt and pepper and basic kitchen things. It makes a big difference! The beds were comfortable and it was so nice to wake up to the birds and beautiful views. Sarah is kind and helpful and we loved seeing the barn and cows (including a brand new baby cow!). The milk was also delicious! Highly recommend for a peaceful stay.

Beautiful location, very nicely decorated and spotlessly clean home with a lot of thoughtful amenities provided. And the town, which is a short drive from the home, is very charming with lots of cute shops and great dining options. The only couple of flags are the bedrooms are all side by side and the walls are thin, so be prepared to be aware of the movements of all staying in the house (or bring headphones). And they’re not joking when they say the neighbors are close, like RIGHT next to you on both sides, and sound definitely travels easier on the water. We were grilling one night and could hear every word the couple next door to us spoke as they had their evening wine on their deck. So just keep that in mind if you’re seeking deep privacy or have a noisier group. But overall a lovely and peaceful stay in a beautifully appointed home. I’d be happy to come back.

We love Mark and Lori’s properties, so much so this is our 4th year staying with them, the location is great, plenty of outdoor activities close by, great food and drink options close by, the cabin is well equipped for a comfortable stay and the outdoor area is amazing for chilling around a fire. Highly recommend, we already have another stay booked later this year with them.

Natalia was incredibly accommodating when our graduation plans changed at Bennington and we had to stay a few more hours. She could not have been nicer!

What an amazing stay. We knew Michael’s place would be special based on the description, but we couldn’t believe how full of surprises it was. We seriously must have spent the first hour looking for all the little tricks and design elements he had installed. Seriously, we’ve never laughed this hard and smiled as much checking into an AirBnB. Plus he greeted us on arrival to introduce us to the goats and sheep! Even our dog had a great time. Truly special, especially for kids (of any age).

Lenore's place was very cozy. We felt right at home. We added guests (including a dog) after initially making our reservation and it was no problem with the host. Just a note, it costs a fee to add more guests on Airbnb. Overall our stay was lovely and our hosts were very nice, responsive, and welcoming. 10/10, would recommend.

We highly recommend a stay with these seasoned hosts who know how to make a home away from home. This spacious, private location was perfect for our girls' weekend away. The house was clean and comfortable with loads of quirky mid-century modern touches making each room a visual delight. A handwritten note and bag of delicious shortbread cookies welcomed us when we arrived. We loved having the room to spread out and visit and then retreat to our own rooms for rest and relaxation. We did not use the kitchen to make meals, but it was well stocked with a big fridge and plenty of counterspace. The host was responsive and friendly. We hope to make a return trip in the future.

We had a lovely stay at Elizabeth's place. The house was big enough for our large group, the kitchen was well stocked with anything we might need, and the area was peaceful and beautiful.

We had an amazing stay! The house is lovely and very comfortable, perfect for going skiing at mount snow and cross country skiing and prospect mountain. We were really glad to have picked it. The house is spacious, we all had a lot of room to ourselves, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The farm is gorgeous. Great grocery stores nearby. Sharon was amazing - so helpful when a winter storm threatened to make it hard for us to drive home. She offered us extra time or even another night discounted, which was really generous. She also communicated with friends to help us determine if the road back to NYC had been cleared. We are so grateful for her help! We hope to return in warmer weather to enjoy the farm even more.

We had a great time, the location is great, right on the water and the fishing was even better. A very quiet lake and much bigger when you are out on it in the kayaks. I would surely stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay! It's such a beautiful and unusual cabin. It would be great for two couples as there are 2 equally great bedrooms that are quite separate, and a very nice sitting area around the amazing wood stove. (Which we didn't use because it's June and not necessary.) The hot tub was such a treat, and the bedroom with the boat was so cool. (OK, so maybe the bedrooms aren't quite equally great.) The kitchen is outstanding! We sat out on the porch a lot looking over the meadow, and I really liked that we were able to bring our dog. About the notes and instructions: they didn't bother us at all. There's a few non-intuitive features of the cabin, and it was useful to have clear guidance on those things. I want to make clear why I gave 4 stars for "cleanliness". I think they do an excellent job cleaning this cabin! But a rustic cabin like this is impossible to make "5-star clean". If you want or need that level of cleanliness, then "rustic" isn't for you! Go find a nice hotel.

Beautiful property. Loved to hear the ducks quacking and seeing the goats. The farmhouse had a perfect mix of old and new. Wifi and TV worked great. The rooms were nicely decorated and the beds were very comfortable. Wish we had more time to enjoy the space but it was a good location while celebrating a graduation from Smith College.

We had an amazing time! The location was tranquil, the town was quaint, the food was delicious! Perfect for anyone looking to wind down. Heidi knows how to make you feel at home. You won’t need or want for anything. Definitely recommend this cute town and its surrounding areas where we enjoyed zip lining and a cidery
