Holiday rentals with lake access in Western Montana

We loved staying here and will definitely book again when we can! Everything was absolutely wonderful! From check in to checkout. The bed is super comfortable! The place is beautifully designed! And we loved all the wonderful hostess goodies that welcomed us! Thank you, Jeni!

The house was very clean and tidy, and the landlord replied to messages very quickly. It was very quiet at night. It was a very nice living experience. If we come to Yellowstone Park again next time, we will still choose this place.

Can’t say enough about this place. Cabin was very cozy and had everything we could need. Very friendly neighbors and a great group of kiddos that mine enjoyed playing by with. Stunning view and access to the water. I will definately stay here again.

I've stayed at many different places in the McCall/Donnelly area and what I appreciated the most about this cabin is that it had great air conditioning and the furniture was not old and uncomfortable. A lot of times people put their old things in their cabins when they upgrade but it didn't feel like that at all. The beds were so comfortable! It was furnished beautifully and the view from the living room is absolutely stunning! James is very proactive with communication and we had all the information we needed and knew any communication would be responded to quickly. Highly recommend!

My wife and I stayed here for one of the best months ever! This place was so amazing, we almost didn't want to leave the property. The house was absolutely spotless, even in areas that usually get overlooked. It was in a very safe and quiet area that felt secluded in nature, but still within about 15 minutes of everything you could need. Brooke and Dallas were super responsive and helpful in case anything came up. There were deer in the yard at times, trout and salmon just off the dock, and a bald eagle would often fly overhead. There are two parks nearby which are great for walking, and of course it's not far from Whitefish or Glacier NP destinations. We want to come back already!

The house was lovely, and the surroundings were so peaceful, and beautiful! We loved sitting outside and looking at the river and mountains in the distance. The house was super well stocked with everything we needed, and the kitchen had everything we could need and more. I was really impressed with how well the house was laid out, and had lots of little amenities that most Airbnb’s don’t offer.

One of our favorite places we have stayed. So peaceful and breathtaking views. The cabin was perfect and had everything we needed and more. Beds were super comfortable. A/C worked great after a hot day of bike riding. Our favorite was the fire pit Ryan is an awesome host. We hope to be back again

Loved watching the deer play in the yard and the geese families float around with their babies while drinking my morning coffee. Absolutely enchanting. The benches around the fire pit were a great touch. Anything and everything we could’ve needed was stocked in the house. Only a one hour drive away from Glacier National Park! We look forward to returning !

Monica was very easy to work with - checkout was so nice - Monica left no duties for guest upon checkout other than run the dishwasher !

Our stay at Suzanne and Mari’s was lovely, from the delicious homemade chocolate birthday cake for our granddaughter, to the beautiful garden complete with some visiting deer. We loved every minute.

What a fabulous place to stay in Whitefish. The host, Stephanie, communicated right from the start and followed up during our stay. I had to amend my original booking and Stephanie was great, nothing was a problem. Such a positive and friendly person. The studio is beautiful and wants for nothing. Super clean and well appointed. The location is right on the lake and adjacent to the walk/bike path into town. We didn’t use our car in the evenings, just walked to get dinner. You’ll wish you lived there. Completely turn key. Don’t need to say much about Whitefish that has been said already. An abundance of outdoor activities with such a minimal human footprint. I’ve stayed at a few other Airbnb’s. This lakeside studio is what they should all aspire to.

Whitefish lake and the downtown are a fantastic place to spend time while visiting Glacier National. Crystal made very good suggestions for everything we were interested in. we cannot wait to visit again, and stay longer.

We had a wonderful stay at Michele’s place! The peaceful garden was a lovely spot to enjoy lunch and the room provided a great home base for adventuring in Bigfork. The bed was very comfortable, the shower had great water pressure and hot water, and the space was thoughtfully laid out. The hosts thought of everything for a great stay- coffee and tea, plenty of towels, stocked toiletries and more. And they were extremely responsive and friendly. We will definitely stay here again! One of our favorite AirBnB’s!

We really enjoyed our stay at Bruce and Kelly’s place! It was very private and easy to get to with beautiful views of the lake. The place itself was very clean and comfortable. We would definitely come again if we were in the area!

The Lakehouse was perfect for our little family reunion. The quiet cove was great for swimming, paddle boarding, and just hanging out on the dock. We bbq and cooked great meals together and hung out on the deck. The house was very comfortable and we enjoyed having a big dining table where we could play games. We only wished we could have stayed longer.

The host meticulously arranged and so thoughtfully prepared the house for the guests to stay. It was always surprised us that we could found some small things that we needed but forgot bringing them with us from home, such as bear spray, aluminum foil, sandwich bags, spices, etc. It is a place that you can really call it HOME!!!! Everyone of us loved it and did enjoy our staying there and we all felt that we like to come back next year! Thank you Mr and Mrs Williams.

My mom and I celebrated our birthday weekend with our family and had the most wonderful time at the cabin. Lindsey's cabin was the perfect place to reflect and soak in the beautiful view of the mountains and lake. We spent hours just sitting on the couch looking through the the windows at the gorgeous view. The kitchen had everything we needed to make our meals for our long weekend. We drove to Safeway one afternoon for anything else we wanted and it was a short drive. I'm so glad for the clear directions about getting into the driveway and all the other household details written on the fridge. I didn't need to reach out for anything. Towels and toiletries were provided and we enjoyed the hot tub while looking at the lake one afternoon. There were dog hairs on the sofa and throws. It wasn't a big deal and understandably could be from pets of other guests. I do wish this wasn't the case and this would be the only thing that could be improved.

If I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would. We’ve stayed at hundreds of rentals across the country, and this was easily the best experience we’ve ever had. The home is perched right on the water with kayaks ready to go, and every inch of the space is thoughtfully designed—stylish, cozy, and clearly put together with care. You can tell the host didn’t just throw furniture into a house—this place feels like a home. Everything just works. We had five people—three teenagers with wildly different interests—and somehow, everyone was entertained, relaxed, and happy (which never happens). From quiet mornings with coffee overlooking the lake, to kayaking and exploring, to winding down with games and comfy beds, this house let us actually enjoy being together without stepping on each other’s toes. The host? Unreal. She was incredibly warm, attentive, and proactive, letting us know when the northern lights were visible, sharing local tips, and home made baked cookies upon arrival!

The cabin itself was a charming blend of rustic and modern. With cozy interiors, a fireplace, and large windows that brought the outdoors in, it felt like the perfect home away from home. There was plenty to do, from hiking and canoeing to simply relaxing and soaking in nature’s beauty. This trip offered everything needed for a peaceful yet active vacation.

My husband, 15 year old son, and I just spent 5 nights at. Rhondas cabin! Rhonda has thought of every extra amenities. She had kayaks, paddleboard life jackets, etc. for my boys to use. Ashley Lake is comparable to the beautiful Carribean! We literally felt like we were in the Carribean. The water is so blue and crystal clear. She has a very nice patio and grill. We were traveling from TX to Montana, so we didn't have a lot of seasonings. No worries, the cabin was so well stocked with seasonings . Her grill is extremely nice, and so was her stove and oven. Her neighbor Tim was so kind. He offered all the best fishing advice for my guys! There is no air conditioning conditioning, but it got down in the the, 40s we did not. need it. I even wore sweatshirts some mornings. We had originally booked it for 4 nights but loved it so much we booked another . We will definitely return! portable ac units were a plus. Nice big window to see outside in morning while enjoying our coffee. Spacious yard with picnic tables. Extra towels. Large trees allowing for shade. Availability of Cottage during busy season. All of these made the stay worth the cost.
