Farmstay holiday rentals in Western Transdanubia

We were allowed to spend a nice week in this unique accommodation and immediately felt very comfortable. The house is idyllically located on the edge of the forest, surrounded by nature, but still very well connected to the infrastructure and thus ideal starting point for hikes and exploring. A particularly beautiful view can be enjoyed from the terrace, which has been lovingly built on a hill and constantly invites you to enjoy peace and relaxation. The property is very comfortable, well equipped and offers everything to feel comfortable. We were welcomed warmly and provided with good tips for excursions and activities, communication went remarkably well and quickly, from minute 1 of booking. :) Paul and his mother are loving and committed hosts, always helpful and available. At this point, a big thank you to both for a nice relaxing time as well as the trust to have shared their idyllic treasure with us.

We spent a few days at the Berek house during the holidays and had a very pleasant, relaxing vacation. All necessary information was provided - check in was super easy. The house was clean, well equipped and beautifully renovated. Petra was easy to get in touch with, responsive, and answered all our questions prior to arrival as well as during our stay. No complaints - great spot, friendly and professional host.

Wonderful, clean and spacious apartment. Front patio, lawn and view of vineyard and lake great. The kitchen has everything you need, including a dishwasher. Hosts are very friendly and quick to answer any questions. Thank you, it was a wonderful stay!

We had a fantastic stay at Erhard's place! A mix of rusticity and luxury. If you know how to operate the wooden barrel (like an oven) it's just great! I even got it hot in 2 hours. The accommodation itself is very stylishly furnished. Thanks for this stay, we'll be happy to come back!

We had a wonderful stay! The cabin was even more beautiful than expected. The attention to detail in the woodwork was outstanding, and everything was so thoughtfully and beautifully designed—it honestly blew us away. The fireplace heated the place perfectly, and the beds were super cozy. The highlight was definitely the whirlpool with that incredible view—absolutely breathtaking! The hosts were super nice—very friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. They even supported us with our own review of the cabin from the weekend, which we really appreciated. Their hospitality truly made us feel at home. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful, unique getaway, and we’d love to come back again!

If you want to completely relax for a few days, then the accommodation is great. With the pool and the sauna you have fun, you can relax. There is not much in the area, so you are either dependent on the car or the bike. We had the bike with us and were able to explore the area a bit.

We had a great stay at Tamas's place. The cottage fully met our expectations. Rooms were exactly as described. We slept well. The fridge turned out to be broken, and this was immediately fixed. Well equipped kitchen with oven and dishwasher. Very nice garden and terrace with beautiful views of the lake. In terms of distance, it is just too far to go to the beach on foot, so we did use our car for that. We were looking for a place to relax near the (sometimes busy) Balaton and we definitely found that.

The stay in Clemens' cottage was pure relaxation. The area is fantastically beautiful and full of nature. It invites you to walk. The cottage has a sunny terrace where you can relax all day, without unnecessary noise. On the yard there are things animals (dogs, horses, donkey) that are very sweet and confiding. Everything was clean and tidy upon arrival, even the wood stove was already in operation. I recommend it to anyone who needs a break from everyday life in nature.

We had a great time, including a 1 and a half year old. The apartment was also safe for the baby and Tobi and Olivia were very attentive and kind landlords. The apartment is super clean and tidy and the sauna is very nice at the end of the day. I can only recommend this place to people coming to the area.

We had a lovely stay at Judit’s place with our two little kids. She was very accommodating and the house was beautiful.

One of the nicest place I stayed in Hungary. We are a family of four, the house was more than enough spacious. Everything was clean, seemed to be new, stylish and comfortable. I would definitely go back! And beyond, Tom was extremely friendly and helpful , gave us so much good recommendations. Even in Budapest, where we also stayed for a few nights. I can only recommend this little house, if you like it comfortable in quiet and a beautiful surrounding!

We had a lovely stay at Roswitha's place, the house felt like home and the views were stunning. The kids loved Yakari and Xaver - the two alpakas! Hope to be back someday!

When I saw the cottage photos I knew it’s the right place for me and when I arrived there I just felt home. The whole area is amazing. It’s away from noise and people just you with the birds and nature of beautiful Balaton. The moment I booked the cottage on Airbnb Abel and Anita were so helpful and communicative. The moment I arrived Anita drove me to the cottage then helped me to visit some places also arranged an activity for me and my daughter. She’s an angel on earth. She made it sure that my stay is going well. The weather was raining so definitely I will come back on summer. Thank you Anita and Abel. You are amazing 🩵

It was really nice but think twice if you are not going with car, its really uphill from Alsóörs.

Great stay. The house is really beautiful and is very secluded. You have a fabulous view of the surrounding area and the other vineyards. We felt right at home. Kitchen has great amenities and there is even a fireplace where we could warm up and grill. We were spoiled one evening with the finest food by a star chef for an extra charge. There is also a wine cellar where you can help yourself to extremely delicious and qualitative wines for a very good price. Highly recommended and we will definitely do it again!

We had the pleasure of spending 4 wonderful days in Andres Airbnb together with our family and are absolutely delighted! The pool and garden were simply exceptional - a real paradise where we spent many relaxing hours. The amenities of the house exceeded our expectations; there was everything you could ask for, and more. We really had our peace and could enjoy the time to the fullest. Andre was an excellent host, always kind and helpful. We can highly recommend this place and look forward to our next stay!

We had an great stay! The space was spacious, spotless, and perfectly suited for our family. Our kids absolutely loved the outdoor area—especially the zipline and all the friendly animals. One of the highlights was when the host took them on a walk with the goats, and grinding corn for the chickens. We also opted for the daily breakfast and it was well worth it—each morning we were treated to a delicious local spread with meats, cheeses, homemade bread, and fresh eggs from the host’s chickens and ducks. The host was extremely friendly and welcoming, always ready to help or offer tips. The surrounding forest was stunning and perfect for peaceful hikes. We couldn’t have asked for a better stat and would absolutely recommend this place to anyone, especially families.

Picturess don't do this house justice. Fully equiped, quite spacious, everything felt/seemed new and a truly astonishingly beautiful location to fully unwind. Also the host is super responsive, with lots of great tips and very accommodating to our needs. Can't recommend this stay enough!

Amazing place in beautiful surroundings. Loved relaxing in the garden with a glass of Badacsony wine and enjoying local produce from the nearby farmers market in the cute traditional kitchen. The house has everything you need for a relaxing family getaway. Will definitely come back!
