Monthly Rentals in Westlake

We had a fab stay with our Whippet. Home was as described and communication was great. Had the pleasure of meeting Phil during our stay and enjoyed talking to him about the conversion. BBQ was a bonus, very secure garden (in our opinion) and we felt right at home once we got there. Would absolutely stay again - thanks!

A fabulous and immaculate place to stay, with top quality comfort and space, in a beautiful countryside setting on the edge of the village. The apartment is very well equipped. We loved the bathroom's luxurious rain forest shower and the heated towel rail, so handy for airing beach towels on! Extremely comfortable super king size bed. We enjoyed using the small private garden, to have breakfast outside on hot sunny mornings, with lovely views over neighbouring fields. It's an excellent base for exploring the beautiful beaches and villages in the South Hams, being near to Dartmouth, Salcombe, Totnes and Plymouth. Caution is advised if you're unfamiliar with Devon's narrow and windy country roads on the approach to the village, or anywhere in Devon, as the roads are significantly busy and there is alot of giving way necessary and a good amount of patience required! There are some sharp speed bumps within the village! Chris and his wife are excellent hosts, welcoming and friendly.

This was a perfect place for us as it was close to family. There are some great walks in the area with a shop, pub and restaurant all very close so you can easily survive once you're there. There is also a huge Tesco at Lee Mill which isn't very far away so you can get everything you need easily. Its a very sweet cottage that is tastefully decorated and accommodated the three of us easily. The only real issue was its not built for someone who is 6'4" so I would recommend tall people wear a helmet (but thats not the fault of the house or host 🤣😂) Would recommend and hope it remains an AirBnB as the location is ideal for future bookings 😁

We, family of 4 with 2 teens, loved our stay in Janice’s cottage. It was an amazing home away from home during our weeklong stay here for a wedding. We had everything we could’ve needed to make a few meals during our stay. Janice was quick to respond when we had questions, which we totally appreciated. As for location, Ermington is a cute little town central to getaways in South Devon. Not much in the town itself, except a pub next door, which provided quite a bit of ambient noise every night 😁. Mothecombe Beach is a cute beach 15 minutes away and worth the drive - we had amazing poke from La Cuisine, the food truck near the parking lot. Farther out is Salcombe, Bigbury, Plymouth and other towns worth the trek. If we ever return to the area, we will be sure to return!
