Sophie's Cabin~ A Secluded and Charming Getaway

Sophie's cabin is tucked away in the forest of the gated Riverbend Community. It is a quiet retreat ideally suited for a couple looking to unplug and be in nature. It's both spacious and cozy with a private bedroom, full bathroom, full kitchen, and a comfortable living room. There is a large private deck behind the cabin with a dining set, gas grill, and 2 lounge chairs. A large Ingles grocery is nearby, along with several restaurants. Chimney Rock is closed due to damage from Hurricane Helene.

This cozy 1955 Sears & Roebuck kit house has been brought back to life! We vaulted ceilings and removed walls, but kept the original footprint. It is just the right size for a getaway for 2 - 4 with 1 private bedroom and a sleeping loft. It has all the modern conveniences and is nestled at Gilbert Landing, 1 mile from downtown and 15 min to TIEC. We are dog-friendly, with host approval. There is a $99 pet fee for one dog. No dogs under 1 year. Additional pet & cleaning fees longer stays.

We are one hour to Asheville, NC and the Blue RIdge Parkway. Lake Lure and Chimney Rock Park are within 30 minutes also. A quick stroll from our front door will take you the heart of our town where you will find local restaurants, boutiques and the Thermal Belt Trail.
