Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Westmoreland County

Melinda was extremely responsive and very helpful with local suggestions. She was flexible with letting us check in early. House had everything we needed and was very clean. The screened in porch was great on a rainy day. Only concern someone may have is the walkway up to the front door is an uneven and broken stone walkway so older people may have difficulty.

We loved staying here for a bachelor trip. Lots to do in the surrounding area. The house is well equipped and in a great location. We really liked the game room, pool table, and fire pit. The kitchen came well equipped and we had all we needed.

Paul’s place was adorable and super comfy and clean! Nice neighborhood and beautiful backyard. Paul was very helpful and friendly! We very much enjoyed our stay!

Leah's place is modest, quiet space, but well stocked. It has a front and back porch. My son enjoyed the porch overlooking the bike trail and woods. The rest of the family were contented to sit on the porch and watch the river flow. The house is at the end of a cul de sac, with mostly quiet neighbors. It is less then a mile walk to town. We enjoyed the coffee shop and playing pool at Sharp Shooters. Leechburg has a small town, western PA. feel to it. It is a down to earth kind of vibe.

This was a great place to stay with our dogs. It's spacious and has a nice, fenced yard. Dan and Crystal were really nice and called me prior to arriving to let us know there was an issue when approaching the road due to some storm damage the night before. Crystal told us which road we would have to use and once we figured it out, all was well. I'd definitely recommend this place to others traveling with dogs.

Victoria’s Trailside retreat was so well designed that we felt right at home. We cooked several meals, enjoyed Roku Amazon Prime at night and rode the Boston Trail 3 times for a total of over 30 miles during the daytime hours. The place was precious. Proximity to Pittsburgh and Mill run was wonderful. We also drive into the countryside, fresh vegetables, and the most beautiful scenery I’ve ever seen is amazing. You won’t regret staying here.

Really enjoyed staying at Joshua’s home. It was easy to find, access, clean, warm, and inviting. We would totally recommend anyone to stay here. Also, recommend Out of the Fire restaurant (nearby). Thanks Joshua for a great place to stay.

This was perfect for 5 of us in town for the US Open. There was some garbage left outside by the cleaning staff and in the garage. Some critters got into it but Cameron was quick to take care of it. Loved seeing the cows in the backyard and the hot tub was a nice addition too. We had the windows open since it was warm upstairs and it can get loud with the trucks driving during the night so just be aware and plan accordingly with white noise or ear plugs. We would definitely come back again!

This place was perfect for us, and everything we needed in the kitchen and the bathroom. A perfect area to work in, nice area to relax in and very comfortable bed. Let’s stay here again and recommend this place to all

Was my first time booking an AirBNB and everything went really well. Very clear, easy to understand instructions. Was more affordable than the only hotel in the area. Was trying to find a place close to my mom's house. The place was very cozy, neat, and clean. Peaceful and quiet neighborhood too. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Really had no complaints. I was especially stoked they randomly had a scale in the closet because I'm about to compete in a powerlifting meet and needed to weigh myself so that saved me the trouble of having to buy a scale. Was a great trip overall and would consider staying in one of their properties again if needed! :) Thank you!!

Steps off the Diamond so you can park and walk to all the restaurants, coffee shops and retail shops this lovely town has to offer. It was quiet and private. Whether you like to be up early or sleep in late this worked really well for me. Hosts were quick to offer suggestions and to be available as needed by chat but not at all under foot. Beautiful home in a beautiful area! I would definitely stay again.

David's place was great for our stay and what we needed. It looks exactly like the pictures. David gave us clear instructions on how to find it and how to get in, which was easy. The neighborhood was quiet. We are on the lower level of the duplex, and could hear the people walking upstairs, but it wasn't usually an issue for us. The place had pots/pans, salt/pepper, hairdryer, and iron/ironing board if needed. My friend and her 11 month old came too and we just wish the back bedroom had blackout curtains since it was too bright for the baby and some outlet covers, but isn't a requirement. Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would stay again.

My husband and I loved staying at April's place. It was very roomy and comfortable and had everything we needed to be able to feel at home. The apartment is beautifully decorated and furnished, so it was a charming place to enjoy our down time while on our vacation. We also adore the neighborhood. We would love to stay here again in the future.

The place was great! My daughter and I came to Pittsburgh for a concert at the Steelers Stadium. It was less than 25 minutes from the stadium. The only thing that kind of got me was nothing Shadina could control. That is the 1st morning my car smelled like weed. But other than that we really enjoyed our stay there. Thank you Shadina!

Mariam’s place was a perfectly fine solution to our having too many guests and not enough room during a graduation. It was nearby and just the right size. Our guests did find the accommodations spare, with just enough towels, lacking a hairdryer etc that normally would have been expected. Note that it is described as a first floor level location, which it is, but there are stairs UP to the hill to the first floor do to being on a hillside, so first floor not ground level.

This is the third or fourth time we have stayed at Kelly Jane’s in Wilkinsburg, Pittsburgh It is near our daughter, granddaughter and son-in-law’s which is why we chose it to begin with. But we also loved the apartment—2 bedrooms and it is very clean, pretty quiet, and extremely well furnished. It is probably the best equipped rental I have ever seen. Everything you would need is provided. She has thought of everything. She is always responsive in communications and her instructions are clear. My sister stayed with us here for the first time and she thought it was great too. We really enjoyed our stay.

Cute and cozy little condo, perfect for my husband, my baby, and I. Just a heads up for anyone else with a baby, there is no room in the bedroom for a pack and play but the host does provide one if needed and it could be put in the living room. Smooth check in and well stocked kitchen!

The Toasted Marshmallow was clean, cozy and perfect for two guests. it is located in a great neighborhood surrounded by beautiful scenery. I would recommend this to others and plan to return again in the future.

The place was adorable and in a great part of town. Both hosts were responsive and even recommended us great suggestions. We would love to stay again if we venture out that way again.

The condo was awesome. Great location to both ski resorts. Cool mountain vibes and vintage design was cool. Very homey feel. Virginia and John are great hosts and very responsive. Would definitely stay again. Thanks to both of you!!
