Cliff-top Coastguard's Cottage, an Off-Grid Escape

The Coastguard Cottages at Weybourne are perched on the cliff-top on the Norfolk Coast Path, with uninterrupted views of the surrounding fields and sea. The terrace was built in 1904 and to this day has no mains electricity, reflecting the handsome, solid utility of their original purpose. We have owned number 4 for over 20 years and have always delighted in escaping off-grid. We love the house, the views, swimming in the sea and letting our children run beyond calling distance. (dog heaven)

Beautiful, dog friendly ‘home from home’ which has been renovated to a very high standard. This spacious home has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (one downstairs), kitchen, living/dining room and additional sitting room with doors to the garden. It is at the end of a no-through lane a few minutes walk from the town. It has a secure back garden and free parking right outside the house. It’s a stones throw from Holt Country Park and a short drive from some amazing beaches on the North Norfolk Coast.

Located at the end of a quiet close, it backs onto fields at the edge of the coastal village of Weybourne. Its a few minutes walk from the house to the local pub, the village shop, and the sea. The living areas of the house are South facing, private, and have a fabulous view over a lovely garden and across open fields to Kelling Heath. Steam trains chug across your field of vision.
