Barb and Mike were excellent hosts .Bed was super comfortable everything was clean and tidy ,warm welcome and there were even pods for the coffee.Lovely breakfast we are very happy and certainly will return .Thanks Guys

My stay at this little cabin was absolutely delightful. The place is as clean and comfortable as described on paper, and the only difference is that it has even more charm in person. Can't recommend enough.

Great place to stay with a kid. Animal feed, bouncy castle and maze was a huge plus especially when staying with children. Great place to stay at a fraction of a price.

Jonathan was absolutely lovely to stay with and we felt right at home. He made sure we had everything we needed, especially since we were in a brand new cabin and were the first guests to try it out! The bed in the cabin was extremely comfy and it was tough finding the motivation to get up when we were cosy. Jonathan was very generous, offering us food and water for our stay and for our Alpine Crossing. He also drove us to a nearby walk and gave us instructions on how to get back. On our last night he even offered us wine and we listened to some music together. A very friendly chap with great stories from his life. I would highly recommend this place for people wanting to stay near Tongariro and I will definitely be looking him up again when I’m next in the area! Thank you Jonathan!

Lovely place not far from the Tongariro Alpine Crossing. The neighbourhood was very quiet. Clare was very helpful.

Karen and co’s spot was perfect, the pod was cosier and more comfortable than we had imagined with a lovely personal fridge and kettle space. It was lovely and warm, with the bathroom block and kitchen/lounge really great and easy to use. Really tranquil place, and a lovely break on a long drive. Thank you!

We had a wonderful stay an Jannel‘s tiny house. It was perfect to explore the Tongariro national park - just a 30 min to 1h ride to the most important hikes in the park. The proximity to Ohakune was great to quickly get some groceries and take aways. The restaurants were nice! Still, the location of the tiny house 15 min out of town was great to relax and watch stunning sunrises. Jannel and her family were very welcoming and friendly.

Amazing little cabin with a private mountain and lake view. Friendly hosts, we really enjoyed our stay, especially the geothermal hot pool!! Would definitely stay again in future. thank you for the great getaway:)

Very cute place to spend the night in a beautiful part of the country. Paul was very responsive and happy to accomodate our very late check in and early check out.

Absolutely stunning place in the middle of native bush/farm land. It was so incredibly quiet and peaceful. I would recommend for anyone trying to relax or getaway from the craziness of suburbia for work or for leisure. Town is only 6mins east driving. Well done to Heather for making such a neat space to stay.

Beautiful location! We had some lovely barbecues on the deck overlooking amazing, peaceful, and private vista. Tranquil. A cow and horse for regular company walking by on the other side of the fence. A very friendly cat who likes to hang out. The space was clean. Complementary foods were appreciated. Getting in and out was very easy.

Looks exactly like the photos. We did the Tongariro crossing and it was a perfect stay. So warm and cozy, we loved it!

A beautiful place to relax and enjoy the countryside. I was greeted by a beautifully kept tree-lined driveway, then Lianne as a warm, friendly and welcoming host, then Wally the very friendly cat! I was made to feel right at home from the get go. It was chilly when I arrived and Lianne had turned my heat pump on so the room was warm and cozy. The entire place was so clean and tidy. The outlook onto rolling hills is very relaxing. Many thanks, Lianne. Your place is wonderful and I definitely recommend this place to any prospective guest. Tim.

Suitable for small groups coming to ski. The kitchen is well-equipped, the heating is great, and it’s a perfect place to relax.

We had a lovely welcoming overnight stay at Mareva's place. The place was very clean and we had everything we needed. The bonus for us was the sauna and a visit from Zoe the friendly cat.

The view of the Water was outstanding, it was my wife's favorite spot yet. The only downside is having to walk to use the bathroom or kitchen but its amazing they have a full kitchen to use, just bring your own plates and utensils! we forgot but we ran down to the corner store and got some. Such a peaceful spot and if I can recommend you have to drive down to the licorice café for breakfast. its so good. 10/10 experience

Great stay at the Flying Fox Retreat up the Whanganui River. Peaceful surroundings and iconic accommodation. The trip across the river in the flying fox was a highlight, as were the beautiful views from the Tui tiny home. The accomodation is both rustic and charming. In the middle of winter it could get quite cold, so bring warm clothing and PJs. Thanks for the stay Jane and Kelly.
