The Stables is a quaint country rural cottage set amongst rolling green hills, this fully self contained rustic cottage is beautifully appointed and sleeps up to 4 adults or 2 couples in 2 bedrooms. The cottage sits in the gardens of the owners farmhouse yet you are in complete privacy of all, on this working beef farm. Its location is central to many wedding venues & vineyards and only 45 minutes from Auckland's CBD, making this a perfect location for wedding accomodation or a country escape.

The Black Barn

In the heart of wine country, this loft-inspired renovated barn is truly one of a kind. Whether you’re in the area for a wedding or a romantic getaway the Black Barn is the place to stay. With a choice of vineyards, breweries, strawberry picking or walking the trails of the Riverhead Forest there is something for everyone. 15 mins drive to the beautiful black sand beach of Muriwai, famous for its gannet colony, surfing, golf course and stunning sunsets. Our family friendly, self contained guesthouse is situated on a beautiful lifestyle block, only 12 minutes drive from Matakana and 2 minutes from the incredible Mathesons Bay and surrounding Leigh area. Sleeping 4, this spacious guesthouse has a bedroom with double bed, and a loft with a super king Ecosa mattress and views of the stars through a skylight. The front deck has loads of space to relax and bbq, and a private outdoor bath to soak up the sunsets and views over Whangateau harbour.

Great Spot by the Estuary in Whangateau Harbour

This bach is a great spot with jetty by the water. 3 bedroom completely renovated in 2022 with a new kitchen and disabled bathroom. 3 queen beds, plus 3 single mattresses on the lounge floor can accommodate up to 9 people. Harbour and small beach across the road. Within 2 hours of high tide you can access Whangateau harbour right off the deck. 2 neighbouring properties (listed as "A Kiwi Classic") mean you can be together or separate for family groups of up to 20 or more.
