Fox Cottage at Yew Tree Farm

This is a lovely cottage ideally placed to explore places of interest in the area. Jon always responded promptly to any queries, and the jar of homemade jam he left for us was a nice touch.

fantastic cottage with everthing you could need. Furnished and decorated to a high standard. One of the best I have stayed in. Great hosts. Nice little pub across the road. Will book again when in the area.

Whitewells Pod

EvieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
As soon as we arrived, we knew this stay was going to be everything we hoped for. Sharon was the most accommodating host I have ever come across. Not only was she extremely welcoming and kind, but she also wrote my father a birthday card as I had mentioned we booked the pod for his birthday. I cannot recommend this spot enough :)

Cosy country cottage - Forget Me Not Cottage

LaurenRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This was a lovely little home perfect for our small family. As a family of 3, with our little dog the space suited us. The stairs were steep but the motion sensors ensured that you could see and it was safe. Our 2 year was really safe in the single bedroom as she couldn’t reach the latch on the door and there was nothing in there for her to break in arms length. The little touches and thoughts throughout were what made this place stand out. We brought our own dog blankets to protect the furniture but there were some provided already. A really good thought on how to protect this little home. The village itself was super friendly. Everyone you passed said hello. The local pub was really close and worth trying for a relaxing drink, or a not so relaxing drink with your toddler.

Charming farmhouse retreat

RichardRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Jez and Susan were brilliant hosts. Made to feel very much at home in a beautiful cottage. Comfortable beds, great showers , high spec equipment, plush chairs, great storage space. Outside seating/table on warm evenings top quality with lovely rural sounds. We hope to be back which is the best recommendation we can give.

Historic Mill Conversion in quiet village location

SimonRating, 5 stars1 month ago
A lovely, comfortable and well equipped home-from-home. Made an excellent base for visiting the nearby 'Great British Car Journey'. We particularly enjoyed a picturesque walk along the lane to the 'Jug and Glass' pub, where the food was excellent.

Beautiful barn conversion.

Lovely cosy spot, nice outside patio to sit with a chilled drink. Good place to explore from lots of footpaths and a short walk along the river to village of Ashover. Few pubs and village shop. Peak District has so much to offer, there’s even an open top bus tour through Chatsworth and Bakewell and surrounding villages.. ooo don’t forget to get a Bakewell Pudding we could only squeeze 4 in the car, but don’t worry they do mail order if you forget 😀 PS Bakewell is best on a Monday as its market day 😀

The Lodge in Derbyshire

ElizabethRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a lovely two night stay at Rebecca’s cabin. It was suitably equipped for a short stay and was warm and cosy. It is very well located for Matlock Bath, Crich tramway museum and the East Midlands Designer Outlet. Good recommendations were provided. It was safe and quiet for small children and they enjoyed their stay too. Thank you very much for an enjoyable mini-break!
