Sweet little cabin in the woods that we promise is definitely not the start of a B-grade horror flick (unless you're not great with the odd bug and some low-fi living) A bit of a glamping experience - we use solar lights and a camp stove, but there is some pretty great luxury features. Theres now a wee outdoor patio area, extra comfy couches and the valleys finest loft-based chillzone that takes advantage of the awesome views of the surrounding hills.

Beautiful, modern house with expansive ocean views. Watch the sun rise, the moon rise and the magical rose coloured sunsets that reflect off of the south cliff face. Located directly in front of the council reserve and sand dunes. Set on a quiet cul de sac and toasty warm with a large heat pump for winter and outdoor shower in summer. We stayed for one night and Zoe's place was perfect for us with parking for our trailer with kayaks. Communication was great throughout. Location is very quiet, yet just a quick drive to town. Bed was really comfortable and shower was excellent. Very clean. Would definitely stay again, thank you Zoe!

We had a fantastic stay at Coastal Calm Retreat in Whiritoa! The property matched the photos and was spotless upon arrival. MT’s communication was clear and attentive - thank you. An easy walk to the beautiful beach, lagoon and general store made for good convenience and the house itself was extremely comfortable - we felt relaxed and at home. A real highlight was the private spa under the starry sky. Our family had a wonderful time, and would love to return one day. Highly recommend!

Wonderful home, very well appointed with great amenities. Grounds and garden were beautifully kept, we had a few days of rain so unfortunately couldn't enjoy it as much as we would have liked. Fabulous hosts, who accomodated our very last minute booking and still made sure we arrived to welcoming and warm touches. We had a great stay and would definitely recommend.
