Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Whitby Beach

What a wonderful weekend we have had. The property is lovely. Plenty of room for our family of 12 plus 3 dogs. The place itself is just beautiful quaint so many nooks with wee properties hidden. Our children loved the beach we did not travel we stayed put. We had amazing weather, tide in played in sea which as a small beach was safe, tide out we explored further along rock pools, crabbing, some exploring of rocks etc. amenities in area were great for us friendly folk great food at local pub. Breakfast great at small cafe near art gallery. As a family we have fallen in love with Staithes perfect for our wee family members and us to create happy memories. We loved The Photographers House such charming character. Our host was great stayed in touch with time we could arrive and leave . Answered questions quickly prior to stay am sure would have been available had we had any concerns…..

The place is gorgeously decorated with everything you need. What made it 5 star were all the little touches, how quickly Stuart and Sharon responded, how clean the place was, the extra little touches that made us feel special, the gorgeous garden and the late check out. We felt so comfortable, we will definitely go back again.

5* Accommodation was spotless. Smelt clean and fresh as soon as you walked in the door. Lovely welcome pack included all the essentials. Lots of attention to detail and little extra touches which made the property feel like home. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you needed and more. Located just outside of Whitby but easy to travel in and around the area. Views from the front window were amazing Would highly recommend and would definitely book again.

What a fantastic place to stay! The accommodation was very clean and tidy, with great attention to detail. Everything was well presented and very comfortable. The location was perfect, with views of the sea from the balconies in both bedrooms. The property had a lovely little outdoor space, perfect for a morning coffee (or an evening glass of wine!) We had a super few days and would certainly recommend it to others, or visit again ourselves.

Any less than 5* or a-maz-ing would be doing Jane and Crabapple Cottage a disservice. The neighbours were fabulous too. We had everything we could possibly want in the cottage and looong garden, and more, including the trampoline 😄 Jane was super responsive to questions I raised even when she was out with a friend and immediately set to finding a solution to our mini problem. Settees and bed were very comfortable and our dog was immediately relaxed in the property which was also really important to us. So many places to visit nearby and lots to do, we could have spent way more time there.

Silvia made our stay absolutely wonderful. She was very informative from the start. The home was very well maintained, clean and very tidy. We celebrated our anniversary during our stay and the personal added touches made a great start to our weekend away. Very thoughtful! The house was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The manual was very helpful and listed everything we needed to know about local amenities, aswel as having leaflets on what York had to offer. Would million percent recommend this host and there beautiful home. The home was in a good location and also offered parking. Check in and out was very easy and we had a very lovely time in York thanks to the amazing hosting of Silvia. Don't hesitate to book your stay here. An amazing beautiful house in a wonderful location! Stunning Victorian townhouse in a great location close to the centre and everything walkable. Lovely restaurants n your doorstep - would reccommend Valentino’s. The house has everything you need and if you have a little one, they literally have everything to keep them happy, books, playhouse, play kitchen, toys, literally everything. Great sized beds, beautiful lounge - me and my extended family had a great weekend. Hosts were really great, very helpful with lots of hints and tips for local places and places to visit. A perfect stay in York :-)

Fantastic! This was our first holiday away with our toddler, and it was perfect. There were toys and books available, as well as a travel cot and high chair. The private garden was appreciated to kick a ball around. The whole place was immaculate and Lora should be very proud of this place. Big bonus - during a heatwave, the bedrooms remained max 22 degrees (we bought our room thermometer from home). We kept the curtains closed all day and everyone slept well at night in the cool. The fish and chip shop up the hill provided us with a delicious takeaway for our first night. It was only 10 minutes drive to the local Lidl, and another 10 to Whitby town centre. We may well be back!

Comfortable, spacious maisonette with small car parking space. Perfect for 2 people, with local amenities, restaurants and mainline station 5 minutes walk. (Handy for catching the train to Headingley cricket ground!) Wendy met us upon arrival, welcoming us in, even though we'd arrived much sooner than anticipated. Lovely host, ensuring that we had all we needed before leaving us to settle in. Thank you for a lovely stay, Wendy!

Lovely clean apartment ,had a lovely stay , loads of room for a family of 5, balcony was lovely to sit and enjoy my morning coffee & an evening drink , Peter was very welcoming and very friendly host will be returning 😁

The basement apartment was as described - spacious, clean and well equipped, in a peaceful suburban location. It was good to have space on the drive to park the car; checking in was straightforward. We appreciated the comfortable beds after exploring the local area during the day. And there's a fine selection of restaurants. Tom was quick to respond. A great place to stay!

This apartment is fantastic. Spacious & comfortable. A short walk to Scarborough front. The private garden with a place to eat breakfast or sip a glass of wine is absolutely perfect. Telma and her partner were warm and welcoming hosts. Would definitely recommend.

Found the place quite easily, the place was spotlessly clean and a lovely little hideaway, cant fault the rooms, bathroom was lovely, couldn’t initially get onto the drive as the FIL parked over, once on the drive difficult if you are in a big vehicle to reverse out with cars parked opposite behind, so parked back on the road, unfortunately there was a concrete post at an angle hidden in the grass, i opened my door onto it denting it quite badly, shame we wasn’t made aware of this, i removed the yellow post Two real gripes, the heating situation only having two hours at a time is not good, it was cold nights when we visited, so when we went out for the night we came back to a very cold room, for the money paid, heating should be controlled by the guest or at least 4/5 hours on time Struggled to get a phone signal as in a valley, so resorted to Wi-Fi which was awful, it was that slow i could not update my iPhone, so be aware of this if you want contact with the outside world

Beautiful appartment, ideal for 2 couples or a family of 4. Great location for walking to the North Bay via Peasholme Park and to the Open Air Theatre. Rebecca was a great host.

This is an excellent base if you are visiting York. Its a really comfortable and well equipped apartment with a lovely view from the balcony.

the apartment was spotless and absolutely beautiful. Also, it's a perfect location so you can walk anywhere you need to go.

Keith was helpful right from the initially booking. He went out of his way to help us with information and allowed us to check in early which really helped with the parking. Communication was brilliant and replies were always swift. We had a great time staying there and will definitely be coming back next time we book a concert at the SOAT. Thanks again Keith.

We had a fabulous weekend away with our 2 small doggies at Sophie’s place. The home was beautifully presented, and perfectly clean - both making us feel instantly welcome. The enclosed yard-style garden was great for the dogs as it allowed total privacy. With the patio doors open they could pop in and out as they pleased and there was no foot traffic past to disturb them. The kitchen was well stocked - we didn’t end up cooking as there was lots of lovely places to eat out but with plenty of cooking utensils/pots and pans ect, we easily could have done. The bed was super comfortable! Lovely fresh white bedding and clean towels provided. We enjoyed the use of the coffee machine and the ‘wonky pods’ menu was great to have a change of coffee option each day. A wonderful stay, would definitely be checking if this was available again if we were looking for a place nearby! I can see why other guests have stayed multiple times! Thanks Sophie!

That saying “The Pictures don’t do it justice” is exactly true for Diane’s apartment - the pictures looked beautiful but the reality is even better. Very clean and everything you need. Great location and such a beautiful town with friendly people - we got the train into York one day, the station was less than a 10 min walk (station cafe is AMAZING) - all in all a great stay and hope we can come back again soon - thanks Diane! X

Excellent apartment, we stayed for the week as we were going to a wedding in Harrogate. The apartment was so central to everything, the bus station, the train station, and the main shopping area. The apartment itself was equipped to the highest standard, and the extras Maureen provided were a lovely touch. I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting this area. And I would certainly book this place again when visiting Harrogate. Thank you to the host Maureen, your home was beautiful.

Perfection!! Clive's place is a wonderful place to stay. Clive and Julie are great hosts, friendly, helpful, accommodating and very welcoming. The welcome 'goodies' were very appreciated and tasty. The unit is very tastefully decorated and well appointed, the bed is super comfy and the shower is large with good water pressure. The outdoor area is a real delight, we sat and watched the ducks, the other birds (saw kingfishers!) and the squirrels. We had everything we needed for a happy, memorable stay. There are lots of walks in the area, plus a number of interesting things to see and do. It's an easy train ride to York, Harrogate and Leeds and the station is a short walk from the unit. There are a lot of pubs and cafes within easy walk - The Half Moon pub does delicious pizza! Overall, we very highly recommend Clive's unit and would return often if we could.

John and Lindsay were perfect hosts, friendly and approachable. The annex was as described and more as the facilities offered exceeded expectations. The welcome pack was a lovely bonus. Great location to walk from on Cinder track or Cleveland Way. Good public transport links and good pubs in the village and nearby.

Apartment 1 was fantastic for our 2 night stay in Scarborough. Clean, tidy and you really feel at home. Parking is heavily permitted in the surrounding streets but Mark explained it all clearly and it all worked out perfectly. Would highly recommend!
